Character Depth

Personality |
| Ichiro expresses himself comfortably. His filter is a little dull, for his self-censorship is pretty much dead. Anxiety and fear seem to have no meaning to him in most cases (when it comes to socializing). It's unheard of him to keep his opinions to himself, but he lays them down in a polite and respectful way. He's nor rude, yet somewhat cynical.
Ambitious | He sees the dog-eat-dog world as it is, therefore he knows how important it is to be one of the top dogs. His strong desire and determination is not to simply succeed, but to be anything more than inferior. Ichiro suffers from Atychiphobia.
Pessimistic | Ichiro tends to be on the "glass half empty" side of things, but when people confront him for it he puts it off as being realistic. He prefers to be called logical, however has a lack of hope and little to dying confidence in the future. "The world is a depressing place, and only a fool would think otherwise."
Authoritative | It's come to Ichiro's attention that with a little drop of an intimidating tone, the weak will comply to his every demand in most cases. He's smart, however, and doesn't let this sort of thing go to his head. Over the years his criticism has grown harsh, so he can sometimes be a tad bastardly, but usually only when push comes to shove. He has the potential of being a leader, but his only drawback is that he doesn't care much for leading.
Assertive | In combat, everything about his pessimism is forgotten and his ambition shines brightest. Ichiro tries to be confident in his movement and he becomes somewhat forceful. No rules apply to him and he's not afraid to ultimately injure people to avoid failure.
Critical | When it is deserved, Ichiro isn’t afraid to offer criticism. His standards aren’t set very high, so he doesn’t understand when people can’t live up to him, and he’s not one to listen to the excuses of an individual who can’t do half what he can. People who haven’t been able to satisfy him have found him to be a bit cruel, but others find him to be reasonable. Evidently, it all depends on how he feels about you in the first place.
Impassioned | Ichiro is never opposed to giving someone a piece of his mind, even if he’s a little hurtful. However, he would rather be liked than hated so he tries to come off as polite. He tries to treat others the way he’d like to be treated, however he can go overboard. For a boy he can be sensitive. He’s a live and let live kind of person, unless you’ve given him a reason to treat you differently.
Volatile | Emotions and expressions of Ichiro are all very distinguished. He doesn’t hide what he’s feeling and he isn’t shy about it. He goes with the flow of his emotions, and whether he’s upset or stressed, happy or sad, the people around him will know it. However, the one thing he doesn’t do in front of people is cry. The last time he cried legitimately was after the death of his mother. Although he seems to be a little transparent in his emotions, he can keep them under wraps if he needs to.
Innovative | Ichiro is less interested in changing the world than dealing with things as the are. It’s unknown of if it’s because of his pessimism or what, but he doesn’t dwell on trying to change the bad for good because he knows it’s most likely set in stone. He, instead, takes the good that is unwaveringly, obviously good in life and runs with it. But, there is always an underlying thought that its good will eventually wilt.
Voice Theme Trivial Facts; -He's more attracted to men than he is woman. -Likes motherly type women, likes protective men. -Favorite colour is red. -Has a deep loathing for alcohol because of his father. -Gags on cigarettes. [/ul] [/ul]

History
Ichiro was born to a mother and father who had fallen in love at a foolishly premature meeting. It was a long love story that Ichiro had never really been interested in, but it went along the famous “Romeo and Juliet” in some cases. His father at 20 and his mother at 16 had met, and in a drunken, love-at-first-sight fiasco, they conceived Ichiro Kei, their unfortunate son to two rivaling families. His father’s side had a deep, on-going hatred for his mother’s side, who agreed that the hatred was mutual. The father of the Megumi (Ichiro’s father’s last name is Megumi) household forbid his son to marry “Juliet,” however “Romeo” disobeyed. The two eloped, but the father of the Kei household found it necessary to hire a hit-man to kill Romeo. Needless to say, Romeo and Juliet had to duck away from their mothering country. Before Ichiro was born into the ninja world, they crossed into the Land of Fire’s Konohagakure. Ichiro doesn’t know where his parents are from, they never enlightened him further.
Childhood | Being a small, new family, Romeo and Juliet were loving towards Ichiro. They were never over the top with punishments, caught in a semi-perfect balance between friend and mentors. The had hopes for Ichiro’s future and always opted him to do great things. After seven years of living, it had become hammered into him that success would result in the love of his parents. He strived off of their congratulating him, and thus became a bit hard-headed when it came to competition. His fear of failure developed around the age of 9, when he was admitted to the Ninja Academy. He had a hard-ass of a teacher who would declare Ichiro a scourge every time he had a shortcoming. Second place became first loser to him over time.
After a few years of strenuous work, Ichiro graduated at age 13. He had a little-more than average ratio in his tests and whatnot, but was far behind the better of the class. He made a few friends who he continues to keep in touch with, however that touch is very vague. He would misbehave sometimes, which is one of the big factors of his not-being-on-top of the class. The final exam didn’t seem to cause him any sort of fear, however what he did fear was the thought of flunking, not the test itself. The few days before the test proved this to his parents, who grew a little concerned of his developing deficiency.
Motherly Love | It was obvious who Ichiro loved more out of his two parents, he showed it on endless occasions and sometimes would even admit to it. The bond between Ichiro and his mother was strong, he told her near everything that happened to him and wasn’t afraid to tell her his real feelings. He felt secure with her and loved her deeply. His feeling of affection for her ran as deep as an ocean.
His love for her was your typical love for a caring mother. She was with him his entire life, holding his hand when he felt upset and mending his pains when he fell. His father was the one who picked him up, but his mother had always been the one who helped him walk again. She was the one thing that mattered to him in the human-to-human world, all else could vanish and he wouldn’t mind, as long as he had his mother. Her embraces were the cure to his ailments. He loved his father, but if he had to choose between them, the result wouldn’t be surprising.
Twisting Point |Ichiro’s blood began to flow cold, his heart stopped and his eyes were as wide as humanly possible without the eyeballs popping past their exterior. Tears began flooding, blurring the sight of the dead woman’s body at his knees. He was struck with so many emotions, his heart was in a blender. He didn’t know if he was angry, depressed, anxious or confused, but he knew it was a miserable feeling. The only person he’d ever felt close to, the one person who mattered most, who was closest to the beating organ protected by his ribcage, was void. This was the worst kind of failure he’d ever experienced.
The 17 year old blinked, his jaw dropped. “Mom?” His throat croaked.
The smell of blood filled his nostrils, but he couldn’t care less. The smell of his mother’s open wound was strong, the smell of innards and excrement was utmost wretched. It was a little disturbing, but all together sickening. He turned, the smell finally getting to him, and he let it out, retching in the process. When he picked his head back up, it all came crashing down. He was no longer stuck in a blender, reality settled in. His fingers dug into the blood-dried hair.
Ichiro let his head fall, his forehead touching that of his mother’s forehead, a shiver instantly finding its way down his spine. He began sobbing silently with shaking shoulders. The longer she went on being dead the more violent his sobbing became. After not too long, his face had contorted and his cheeks were being licked by shedding tears. He couldn’t hold himself up anymore, the weight of his mother’s death was heavy. His upper body slumped and he hugged her head close to his chest as his body drooped against it. He hugged it close like a child and his basketball. Ichiro could feel the blood from her exposed neck embrace him.
The blond inhaled deeply, letting out a desperate wail as he began to cry loudly into her long, dark hair. Her mangled body lay close to him. Her death caressed him mockingly. It made him regret every little fight they’d ever had, every little argument and every worthless dispute. The last thing they’d conversed about was the fact that she’d forgotten his desired products at the store. It seemed trivial now, it was a worthless thing to fight about. He called desperately in choppy wails. His sentences began to run together, his tears forced harsher as memories of her sweet, motherly being ran through his mind. She was gone and she’d never resurface, everything was gone, her sweet hugs and her cruel humor. The image of her smiling happily was burning into his cranium, making everything worse. Yet the last thing they’d done was fight about something so stupid.
His throat was on fire, but he screamed anyways, soaking her lifeless head with his tears. It would help if he could remember her anger, remember something that normally pissed him off about her. His limbs were either numb or sore, nothing in between.
“I love you, Mom! I’m sorry, I’m-hic-I love-” He couldn’t manage anything more but pitiful cries.
After what seemed like forever, his crying died down and was replaced with a throbbing headache. The back of his eyes hurt and his face felt like it was on fire, his throat was sore and he couldn’t feel his chest. The only thing he could smell was a mixture of her perfume and everything else about her dead body, especially the burning stench of her insides. Ichiro chose not to move, though. He simply sat there, with his arms around the decapitated head of his mother. Ichiro had never cried so hard in his life.
Aftermath | The cause for Juliet’s death was unknown, and Ichiro didn’t know if he wanted to know how it happened, or why, even. He didn’t want vengeance, he didn’t want the killer to feel remorse. He blames his father for it, not the fact that she died but the fact that he endangered her. It’s no secret that Romeo’s father hated his mother. Because of this, Ichiro disowned the Megumi name, his father’s last name, and took on his mother’s last name instead. He declared himself Ichiro Kei and not Ichiro Megumi.
However, Romeo also doesn’t know the reason of his late wife’s death but what he does know is that Ichiro found her that way. Ichiro claims that he doesn’t exactly remember how he stumbled upon his decapitated mother in the kitchen or even how he picked up her head as he sat on the tile floor. Romeo took this as Ichiro couldn’t come up with an alibi. Romeo believes that Ichiro took his mother’s life, but he doesn’t have an explanation to back it up. Romeo hates his son.
After the loss, Romeo was trapped inside his own mind. He took up drinking and has become a belligerent, overweight oaf that can’t do anything for himself. Ichiro moved out as soon as he turned 18, leaving his father for dead. He hasn’t seen his father in a few months and doesn’t want to. He has since lived in a small apartment on the other side of Konoha. He tries not to dwell on his mother’s death.

Kunai (Overview) Rank: "C" Rank Type: Secondary, 2 per Slot, Piercing/Slashing, Knife Effect: A digging tool, a bit like a trowel. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: The kunai is conventionally wrought in ranges from 6 to 8 inches, with the average at 7 inches. The kunai was used by common folk as multi-purpose gardening tools and by workers of stone and masonry. The kunai is not a knife, but something more akin to a crowbar. The blade was soft iron and unsharpened because the edges were used to smash plaster and wood, to dig holes and to pry. Normally only the tip would have been sharpened. The uses to which a kunai was put would have destroyed any heat-treated and sharpened tool like a knife. There could be multiple kinds of kunais such as handless ones, or even double sided kunais as long as they are within the same length. Limit: These types of items may be capable of being bought inside any Weapon Shop. Cost: 1,000 Ryo per Slot, or 500 Ryo Each.

There could be multiple kinds of knives such as throwing knives, curved knives, combat knives, or retractable knives. Limit: These types of items may be capable of being bought inside any Weapon Shop. Cost: 1,000 Ryo per Slot, or 500 Ryo Each.
Makibishi (Overview) Rank: "C" Rank Type: Secondary, 16 per Slot, Piercing, Makibishi Effect: Makibishi are small, sharp objects that are mostly used to prevent someone from walking from one side to another, since they would hurt their feet if they tried to pass it. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: When pursued by enemies, ninja would scatter makibishi on the ground. In ancient Japan, common footwear consisted of sandals made of straw, called zori, which offered relatively little protection against such hazards. Makibishi spines were often hooked, and occasionally grooved to allow for a light coat of poison, to increase the damage they dealt to those unfortunate enough to step on them and possibly result in death. Limit: These types of items may be capable of being bought inside any Weapon Shop. Cost: 1,600 Ryo per Slot, or 100 Ryo Each
Darts (Overview) Rank: "C" Rank Type: Secondary, 15 per Slot, Piercing, Darts Effect: Darts are missile weapons, designed to fly such that a sharp, often weighted point will strike first. They can be distinguished from javelins by fletching and a shaft that is shorter and/or more flexible, and from arrows by the fact that they are not of the right length to use with a normal bow. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: Steel-tip darts generally weigh 18−26 grams and maximum of 50 grams. The common length of a dart is generally 15 to 20 cm (6−8 inches) long. There is a large array of types of darts. There are the sportsmen darts, the blowdarts as well as Tranquilizer darts. Limit: These types of items may be capable of being bought inside any Weapon Shop. Cost: 1,500 Ryo per Slot, or 100 Ryo Each.
Hira-Shuriken (Overview) Rank: "C" Rank Type: Secondary, 15 per Slot, Piercing, Shuriken Effect: Is a concealed weapon that is generally for throwing, and sometimes stabbing or slashing. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: Hira-shuriken is constructed from thin, flat plates of metal derived from a variety of sources including hishi-gane (coins), and kugi-nuki (carpentry tools), and generally resemble popular conceptions of shuriken. In modern popular culture, these are called "throwing stars" or "ninja stars". They often have a hole in the center and possess a fairly thin blade sharpened only at the tip. The holes derive from their source in items that had holes - old coins, washers, and nail-removing tools. This proved convenient for the shuriken user, as well, as the weapons could be strung on a string or dowel in the belt for transport, and the hole also had aerodynamic and weighting effects that aided the flight of the blade after it was thrown. There is a wide variety of forms of hira-shuriken and they are now usually identified by the number of points the blades possess. Limit: These types of items may be capable of being bought inside any Weapon Shop. Cost: 1,500 Ryo per Slot, or 100 Ryo Each.
Grenade: Fragmentation Rank: "C" Type: Secondary, 1 per Slot, Explosive, Grenade Effect: A grenade with a heavy metal casing that shatters, on exploding, into fragments that travel at high speed and with great force. Special: --- Drawback: May harm the user if not thrown right. Description: The fragmentation grenade (commonly known as a frag) is an anti-personnel weapon that is designed to disperse shrapnel upon exploding. The body is made of hard plastic or steel. Flechettes, notched wire, ball bearings or the case itself provide the fragments. When the word grenade is used without specification, and context does not suggest otherwise, it is generally assumed to refer to a fragmentation grenade. These grenades were sometimes classed as defensive grenades because the effective casualty radius of some matched or exceeded the distance they could be thrown, thus necessitating them being thrown from behind cover. Fragmentation grenades have a killing radius of 5 meters with a wounding radius of 15 meters. It takes 6 seconds before it explodes. Limit: These types of items may be capable of being bought inside any Weapon Shop. Cost: 1,500 Ryo Each

Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: Picture Stand with your feet hip distance apart. Push off of the ball of the right foot, bend the left knee slightly and start to extend the left hand in a pushing type motion (there should be a subtle rotation as your left hand goes forward your right shoulder moves back). You may also rotate the fist so that when it reaches the desired destination your left palm will be facing down. Retract the left hand as fast as you extended it and return to the original position.
