(ooc-my first training so sorry if its bit rough open to some advice and criticizim where need improvment just send me pm to keep this clean)
Technique to be learned: 0/30
The duo stood before the tree they had decided to use as a striking post to perfect their newest technique. Looking around to make sure no one was nearby while they attempted perfect one of their unique bloodline skills not wanting others to witness. Xin practiced a few punches as a warm up getting used to the feel of his target. "Did you see that Nix I know your punching skills suck so were gonna practice at slow pace first." Xin commented to his hidden brother. "Ya ya I got it but afterwards were learning kicks." Nix replied somewhat irritated having to let his brother train first. Though he couldn't see him Xin knew his brother had rolled his eyes but was ready so he assumed his stance raising his fists up.
Nix watched as his brother extended his arm in the same punching motion over and over again trying to memorize the timing to know when he needed to extend his own fist. After about the 5th swing Nix tried extend his fist out side of Xins arm in time with his brother. "What was that the angle and time were way off." Xin critizies his brothers attempt at the skill. "Shut up you idiot I'm trying." Nix responds flustered determined get it right. The pair continue to try get timing right but seem to keep missing the exact timing.
"Ok this isn't working lets try something new." Xin decided after half an hour of trying to get it down and not progressing much. "How about we try just synchronizing our movements seperatly first than do it merged " Xin suggested to his nearly identical sibling "Ok ok one sec." Nix says as his form starts to materialize tearing itself away from his twin. Suddenly there are now two individuals that seem to be exact mirror copies even down to the clothes. Standing side by side the two take up a basic stance holding themselves and began to slowly perform simple punch form training in an attempt to synchronize their movements and breathing.
After some time the two managed to synchronize their breathing and slow movements for the most part. They started to increase the pace ever so slowly as they continued with the repetitive motions of the practice form. As they progressed with their timing the two moved around so they were facing each other holding their right hand ,since they both used left hand as dominant, as target as they punched with their left aiming to hit the others hand at same time using this to help judge how well they were synchronized. "Speed up a little your punch is too slow." Xin said after a while as they continued to match each others hits.
They continued this style of training until both were satisfied that they had everything matched up perfectly. Finally after some time the two take a breather both winded from the excercises. "Ok lets try to spar like this mirroring each others movements that way it will be easier to understand in fast paced combat scenario plus I'm getting tired of this repetitive punching its so boring." Nix suggests with a chuckle "Ya that might help plus sensei always harping on us that were never in synch." Xin says thinking back on the constant scolding the two recieved in the past. "Haha maybe we should paid more attention to him when he tried help." with a chuckle Nix comments but both look at each other and just bust up laughing.
The two face each giving a slight nod before they start fighting each other attempting to mirror the moves of the other. The two managed to accomplish it to a small degree at first missing whenever the other would enter a stance the latter was unfamiliar with. They continued this style of training matching their punches as best as they could until they could easily predict the others intent. This wasn't particularly hard considering the two had spent their entire lives together and were nearly identical in personality and style. Collapsing back to back the two pant trying to catch their breath covered in dirt and bruises from the sparring. "Heh think we might gone little overboard there" Xin said flatly trying to catch his breath. "Ya that tends to happen when we spar." Nix returns his statement to his brother taking deep breaths.
"Alright lets try this again." Nix remarks suddenly falling backwards merging into his brother "Whenever your ready go for it think might figured it out always learn better in a fight after all." After finding his center Xin took up his stance in front of the tree once more taking a few deep breaths slowly extending his left arm to give his brother an idea of where he's aiming. With a quick extension of his arm arcing towards the target Nix watches choosing to extend his own left fist from his brothers arm in an attempt to match his hit to connect at the precise time to maximize the effect of the hit. The timing of the hit is nearly perfect only off by the smallest margin. Seeing they had almost managed it Xin tried to punch again watching as his brother extends his arm from his own just before he makes contact with the tree. They repeat this trying several diffrent angles and ways to extend the hidden arm until both their fists are raw trickling blood from punching the solid tree. Finally stoping exhausted falling to the ground too weak to get up for the moment "Yep think we *gasp* almost got it down"
