Through the Looking Glass, it seems(T)(O)

Axel saw Omori burst from the under cover and signal for him to follow. The wolf headed off towards the smoke that Axel had seen previously and he followed suit quickly smiling back at Exccel as he yipped and followed after him wagging his tail happily as they raced on.

Exccel caught the scent of meat in the air he moved faster moving into position next to Axel racing along getting hungrier. Axel smiled and patted his head reaching into his pack and handing a piece of dried jerky to the wolf making it yip soft and thankful eating the meat. The two quickly came to a clearing that was filled by a large house built into a combined home and ironworks. Omori quietly gave a signal before heading off undoubtedly heading back to Akiko.

Axel watched the clandestine wolf head off into the woods before walking over to the entrance of the large building knocking on it while Exccel stayed behind him in formation. "HELLO!?! Excuse me is anyone home?!"

"N-no sir I'm not I got information from someone I met recently that said you might be able to point the way to a sword I'm looking for." Axel replied to the man's question bowing to him respectfully as Exccel watched Axel quizically then did the same showing his respect to the man in the door way. As Axel bowed his cloak shifted about revealing two swords on his hips one of which was the sword of his own kaishin bloodline and the other was the Kyuushi, the blade of a lightning master. While his blue eyes watched the man his long Crimson hair shifted on the wind lightly while the end of his cloak did the same mimicking the flicker of flames at it's end.

"I was hoping you could show me the way to a sword called Niiro Kougou, or the Red Queen." Axel stood back up straight as Exccel readjusted himself as well. He took in the man's burly appearance as he watched his expression hoping that his request wouldn't upset him in any way.

Axel's hopes seemed to flutter a bit as the man seemed like he was going to side-step the question but was surprised and eagerly relieved as the man let out a thunderous laugh that seemed to bounce around the area making him feel a bit more at ease. The man's next words made him feel proud in him somewhere as he recognized him as a warrior and a leader. "Heh Thank you sir I'm The Shichidaime Takikage, your acknowledgement is very appreciated."

The man then brought out a small horn that when he blew through it it would heavily reverberate and blare through the area. Soon after the call rumbling was heard and Exccel took up a defensive position next to Axel to protect him from the coming being. Axel stroked his head calming him softly watching as the trees parted revealing a gigantic ape making a few trees crack with it's mighty strength. The man ordered the beast to move a boulder that Axel hadn't taken into account before as it rested against a cliff side. The movement revealed a small opening in the cliff that the man then entered signaling for Axel to follow after him for the lady of the cave was fickle.

Axel knelt down next to Exccel while taking off his cloak and the Kyuushi on his hip setting the blade down and attaching the large bellowing crimson cloak around the wolf's collar to protect him from the weather while he was gone. Axel smiled and pecked Exccel's head before turning and heading into the cave after the man knowing his wolf would be safe from the elements.

Axel ground down his teeth as the heavy roar of water echoed against his eardrums as the two entered a large cave with a seemingly cage/dome-like appearance with an opening near the top about 2 meters wide gushing out water that churned the waters of the pool at their feet with a ferocity that would tear apart anyone that would become submerged.

The man informed Axel that his task was simply to stop the waterfall and retrieve something from the depths of the lake. Axel analyzed the room and reached back into his pouch feeling the stones that rested in the depths. He took out two of the golden minerals and rolled them in his palm before throwing them at the top of the opening for the torrent of water. The impact created a resounding tremor that broke apart the stone and earth making it crumble and block the way of the water making the water way now little more then trickles leaking through stones and mud. It wasn't enough though, Axel wanted to be sure and quickly weaved a set of seals before sinking his claws into the cave wall as frost trailed from his hands up to the blocked opening and froze it solid making the clog that much more definite.

Axel stood and stretched before weaving more seals and dropping to all-fours growling low in his throat as his body contorted to a more bestial appearance as he looked into the calmed placid water to gain a bearing on the object he was to retrieve.

Axel's senses were drawn to the fish growling in his throat as he reached back into his pack taking a vial of crimson liquid downing it and putting it away before howling loud while the metallic scent filled the cave then weaving a set of seals to coat his throat lungs mouth and nose in a film of air absorbing chakra. He dived head first into the water swimming towards the fish his strokes through the water quick and precise as his breath got faster.

Upon getting closer to the barracuda and sensing the creatures aggressive instincts, he broke into a rapid swim rotating his body at rapid speeds through the water the force of his claws in the rotation easily being able to tear the fish apart and cloud the water with the creatures blood. Then Axel could complete his goal of obtaining the crimson jewel.

The resounding crack made Axel look up as a few pieces of rubble fell back into the water. Axel moved quickly swimming down to the gem and stuffed it into his clothes before forcing his chakra out from his body while twisting through the water at speeds that would force the water away from him enough to create a small bubble of air around him. The cracks were getting louder as streams started to break out showering the small pool with mud and slush.

Axel pushed himself harder using the rotational force of the Gatsuuga even though he had no partner for the technique to be complete. The speed of his rapid ascent would soon prove to be succesful as he burst from the water while the jutsu covering his throat faded and he rolled to the ground stopping next to the man clutching the crimson stone held in his clothes panting as the makeshift damn finally broke through and started to pound the lake as it had for untold amount of time and clearing it of the blood. "I-I got it..."

Axel looked over the kit before opening it and looked over the parts skeptically while his pupils raced back and forth over the pieces giving the slightest glance at the builder and creator housed within the beast. After a few clinking and playing with a few pieces Axel got to work at fixing together the blade.

He took the blade laying it down before connecting the exceed system into the cylindrical air casing in the handle connecting the two while removing the lock on the rev. after testing that the rev would twist Axel adjusted it to the hilt and the throttle then revved the handle again feeling it rumble as the casing filled with air. He pulled the throttle next narrowing his eyes at the sharp blast of air that had escaped the opening.

He smiled soft as he re adjusted the rev and throttle for a more potent and extreme burst that would be augmented by his fire chakra when he used the blade. After making sure the necessary parts were open to be connected he connected the blade into the hilt hearing the sharp clicks and locks as the blade connected to the exceed system as well as the throttle system and the chamber in the hilt expanding the air case for the fire chakra to circulate within the blade before the throttle would expel the heat and flames along the blade.

Axel sighed soft and smiled as her wiped off his bro and stood lifting the blade to rest it on his shoulder feeling the hefty but reliable weight centered. He gripped the handle and bent forward while pushing his fire chakra into the air casing then revving the throttle with the torque in his wrist. The motion made the exceed system rev loud like a bike engine as the twisted thorn filigree burned into life as the chakra circled around within the blade. He watched the blade in wonder and after a while the red glow subsided as the pressure was let out of the chamber.
