Pathos
- Headstrong: Adrianna has been tempered by her harsh desert lifestyle into being extremely independent and self-sufficient. As a result, she’s not accustomed to following other people’s advice. While she doesn’t go out of her way to rebel against authority, she has no qualms with disregarding a command if it doesn’t make sense to her. Often times this leads her into trouble.
- Foul tempered: Many consider Adrianna to be belligerent. While she has the captivity to validate that assertion, to state that her belligerence is a staple of her personality would be inaccurate. Adrianna’s belligerence is a symptom of a more overarching character flaw, that flaw being a short temper. Adrianna is easily exasperated, especially under pressure, and in such situations she often becomes foul mouthed and even obnoxious. However, as quickly as this aggression comes it dissipates, leaving her feeling almost melancholic.
- Inquisitive: Adrianna has an almost child-like sense of curiosity. This manifests itself in many ways, from a tendency to ask too many questions, to an impulsive thirsty for adventure. Often times she can be easily distracted by something as irrelevant as an animal having a color combination she’s never seen before.
- Practical: Adrianna is not a flashy or suave fighter. Her tactics are often spur of the moment and impulsive, which serves as a double-edged sword by making her predictable but also leaving her aimless with no back-up plan if an attack fails.
- A Lawful Neutral character typically believes strongly in Lawful concepts such as honor, order, rules and tradition, and often follows a personal code. A Lawful Neutral society would typically enforce strict laws to maintain social order, and place a high value on traditions and historical precedent. Examples of Lawful Neutral characters might include a soldier who always follows orders, a judge or enforcer that adheres mercilessly to the word of the law, and a disciplined monk.
Characters of this alignment are neutral with regard to good and evil. This does not mean that Lawful Neutral characters are amoral or immoral, or do not have a moral compass, but simply that their moral considerations come a distant second to what their code, tradition, or law dictates. They typically have a strong ethical code, but it is primarily guided by their system of belief, not by a commitment to good or evil. James Bond, Odysseus, and Sanjuro from Yojimbo are considered by Complete Scoundrel as Lawful Neutral.
The seal itself is the insignia of the Empath. With three elaborate swirls around the outer ridges, decorated flames about it are a symbol of the clan’s natural attunement to fire. Each trisection is flowing and guiding into the next, a depiction of how one flame may fuel another, how one clan member must always support another, for without one, the entire flame dies. At the center is a tri-petal flower, representative of how even the most beautiful of things can be found to ensure among the most harsh of flames, obvious symbolism for his people.

History
My life up to this point is very simple and complicated. If I were asked to summarize it in the form of a sentence, I would say something akin to: I was born, I lived, I died, and I am alive. However, you're probably looking for something a bit more fleshed out, and I guess I have the time.
I was born in the Citadel to a man and a woman whom I have only met twice in my life each, once on my sixteenth birthday and at their respective funerals. Apparently, they were both ninjas. I'm sure your eyes are glancing up at the ceiling right now as you're writing this off as another orphan sob story, but bare with me for a minute! Despite the lack of real parents, I didn't grow up on the street unloved or anything like that. My parents did not abandon me involuntarily or willingly. It was their attempt to liberate me. The thing to know about my parents is that like many unfortunate souls living in our time, they were never high class citizens, and like many of those who lack wealth, they often engaged in acts which squandered whatever wealth they had. My parents would often bet things that they could not afford to lose, and often karma would not be on their side.
I know what you're thinking, and no. Despite their addiction to gambling, I was too precious to them to ever be used as a bartering chip. However in the months leading up to my birth, their betting never let up, and their inability to pay their debts eventually attracted the attention of company of the worst kind. Several days before I was born, a pair of collectors paid my parents a visit, but they were not there to collect payment. Rather, they were there to collect heads.
