These grenades are used to temporally neutralize the combat effectiveness of enemies by usually disorienting their senses. When making contact it releases a flash of light that momentarily activates all light sensitive cells in the eye, making vision impossible for approximately 5 seconds until the eye restores itself to its normal, un-stimulated state. The incredibly loud blast produced by the grenade adds to its incapacitating properties by disturbing the fluid in the ear which also lasts approximately 5 seconds until the ear restores itself to its normal, un-stimulated state. The flash bang has a radius damage of 15 meters. It takes 6 seconds before it explodes.

Destiny's Coin (Appearance)
Yukio, Ichirou
Ichirou, Ichirou, Ichirou...
The more outgoing and wildly social of the group, he leans toward an attire that only adds to his intense and passionate personality. Platinum hair extends down to his face and covers some of its heart-shaped features. To have a sense of identity that mirrors Jirou's, he wears his hair in bangs slightly over his left eye. Usually kempt and soft to the touch, it's a mainstay for he and his brother to stand out and realize that they have a sort of reminder of who they are. Slightly tanned skin and icy blue eyes peer out from the red jacket that he usually dons. The dark crimson stripe across the front of the chest represents his Brawler qualities. And beyond that, there are a few distinct differences between the twins.
Ichirou wears black gloves on each hand, the finger portions removed to give ease of access. The right forearm is no longer covered as that portion of his jacket was torn off in a fight with Jirou, leaving his favorite apparel slightly tattered. Though it sometimes angers Ichirou to look at it, he feels it serves as his right hand belonging to no one. Baggy, black cargo pants make up his lower body's accessories, the pants legs hiding the top of his black standard ninja shoes. The jacket, itself, remains unzipped for the most part. Choosing not to wear a shirt, Ichirou's musculature is more than evident. Physically fit and possessing an athletic frame, he is quick to utilize his body's freedom to further chase down or aggravate an opponent.
Yukio, Jirou
Jirou is the more modest of the twins, though his sense of fashion is just as eccentric and outstanding as Ichirou's. He wears a very similar jacket, though it is blue in color. Unlike the strip that runs horizontally across Ichirou's chest, Jirou's sports two vertical stripes that run down from the shoulder of the jacket to the navel. This is his modesty, along with a white symbol on the left shoulder of the jacket to break away from Ichirou's "Right Hand" philosophy. Black sleeves cover the forearm and end of Jirou's own jacket, though tan gloves are his choice of protection. His gloves are also without fingers, a testament to the fact that he agrees with Ichirou's tact.
Similar to Ichirou, Jirou wears a pair of black cargo pants that are loose-fitting to his form. He also wears the standard ninja shoes, though he may or may not be seen sporting socks as the weather progresses. Jirou's jacket remains unzipped, but unlike Ichirou? He prefers to wear a shirt underneath to differentiate between his self-control and Ichirou's "arrogant" appeal. It goes without saying that the two possess identical appearances. If they were completely naked, one would not be able to truly distinguish between the two.
But there is another difference that is not easily recognized - though Jirou prefers to wear his hoodie as well, his hair is not as free as Ichirou's. He wears his bangs over his right eye, the rest of it slacked back slightly while remaining at the same length as his twin brother. Jirou's body has been conditioned to reach its physical prowess in battle, as they both are Taijutsu-oriented when the time comes. Both brothers wear a necklace that seems to hold sentimental value, crimson gems encrusted into the charm pieces so that they might always remember their individual selves.
So many similarities, but fewer differences in the physical aspect. However, it's the personality of the Futakongo Twins that leads one to see them in different lights.
Personality:
Yukio, Ichirou
The more explosive of the two, in more ways than one.
Ichirou is a free spirit. Preferring a life of freedom over a life of solitude and instruction, he usually leaves law and order to Jirou to work out. This isn't to say that he doesn't care. It's quite the opposite - he has known vulnerability in his life, and often he feels that he has made poor decisions when it comes to what has been best for the brothers. Ironically, however, he only takes Jirou's words as "suggestions" at best. He is demanding and rambunctious, willing to sacrifice his own health to accomplish victory. But despite what some might believe is a flippant behavior, it goes without saying that putting Ichirou at the front line of a battle or a discussion will usually garner great result. He is intelligent, if not lacking in the "book" department.
There's also the subject of Ichirou being the more social of the two. Playing the "Host" more often than not, Ichirou exposes Jirou to lifestyles of women whose name he wont' remember and activities that some would consider "illegal", depending on who you ask. Ichirou has always been a brawler at heart, and thus he feels the need to be the proud lion in the face of adversity. While Jirou will pick and choose his fights carefully, Ichirou believes that all opponents have a weakness. "Play your cards right, and you'll make the bastards fold every time." The gamble has put their lives on the line many a time, but somehow Ichirou pulls through and gives them the pleasure of living to fight another day. More often than not, Jirou will wave a hand casually and allow Ichirou his dangerous antics. But when things get dicey, he interjects and overrules as necessary.
Yukio, Jirou
Ah, the shy one.
It's a funny thing about Jirou - He has almost no social skills. Prone to stay in the background while Ichirou controls the voice and the action, he only steps forward when two occasions are met: when combat is about to happen, or when their loyalty and tactics toward Takigakure are questioned. Jirou dreams of being an important asset to Taki, and thus he spends most of his time watching Ichirou battle or observing his opponent. However, this costs him dearly when it comes to social interaction. So quiet is Jirou at times, that it would almost seem as if Ichirou is alone. The latter of the Futakongo Twins will talk normally when others are around, but he will casually wait for everyone to calm down or get quiet before he speaks.
Personally, one would believe that the relationship between the two is clear. But there are times when things are not so black and white. Known as "Calamity and Catastrophe", the brothers have a longstanding reputation for being completely merciless on the battlefield. Before battle, the two seem to have a ritual: Ichirou will separate from Jirou for a short time and hold out his right fist. Jirou will mimic the motion, but with his left. As they bump them, Ichirou will shout "No more games!" whilst Jirou will nod and follow with "Now I'm a little motivated!" The quirk seems to inspire them and give their morale a boost. Even when separated, the two are at their closest when it comes to their personalities.
Beyond themselves, both the brothers are very family-oriented. Their mother and father instilled in them the importance of respect and rank. While Ichirou desires freedom, he understands the concept of servitude. Likewise with Jirou, he will take the orders of authority and consider it heavily before trying to override their instruction. The brothers believe in justice being present on all sides of the battlefield. But even if things get a bit chaotic, you can rest assured that they keep level heads and refuse to be turned one against the other. Inseparable, and yet dominant individual. One more thing that separates and yet brings the brothers together is their sense of humor. It's almost unnatural how insulting they can be toward one another, yet still possessing a respect that lies underneath all the trash talk and standoffish demeanor.
Never a dull moment with these two.
Fortune's Mixed Bag (Background/History):
"It's all your fault! Bastard!"
"As usual, your arrogance blinds you. And if I'm a bastard, then what are you? Clown."
One of many arguments that they'd had during their time at the Academy. The Yukio family didn't really discuss their matters with the outside world. Not because they were arrogant, but because they didn't trust anyone to know the struggle that they endured. Ichirou and Jirou were born to Yukio Sango and Yukio Hajime, wealthy veterans of shinobi class and retired assistants to the authorities that be within Takigakure. They'd intended for their sons to grow up and be as successful as they were, but there was an unnatural discord between them that the two could not figure out in their earlier youths. Strange for Futakongo Twins to not get along, Hajime was always taking drastic measures to force them to work cooperatively.
It wasn't discovered until later that the two of them simply had different tastes. They held no regard for one another in the respect that one skill or ability was better than the other. Only when Hajime began to teach them the ways of the Futakongo did they begin to tolerate one another. But the love, unfortunately, was still not there. Sango spent many a sleepless night watching as the individual body struggled to keep itself whole. Even in their most harsh of elements, Ichirou and Jirou simply despised one another for what the other lacked. Constant bickering and fist fights turned into long conversations about their bloodline's ability. After much hope and prayer, the struggle would finally come to a standstill. There was a common ground.
Power.
The Futakongo Twins are pit against many types of opponents even before they'd attended the academy, the village's respect for their parents garnering a collective effort to get the boys to see their true potential. Almost every fight was a simulation of what the real world was capable of. Jirou chose to close his eyes to it, believing that it was nothing more than a training program. Ichirou, however, forced himself into a "Host" position and often pursued victory without the additional help of Jirou's capabilities. Soon after, however, Jirou had had enough. He wouldn't allow his brother to claim that he was the engine that kept them running. Steeling himself for battle and taking up the Warrior Monk's way, he forged his own path to success while showing Ichirou that he was more than able to pull his weight.
It was only when they'd finally come to understand each other that they played by the rules of their Futakongo limits. Sango and Hajime were the subject of much praise within the village, though small skirmishes and fights still broke out between the two every now and then. The Yukio brothers have a fondness that very few understand, but it is evident as they progressed through the tests of the Genin Academy. While Ichirou's thirst for attention and the spotlight seemed to get them in trouble, Jirou allowed him the forward-most foot in hopes that he would learn his lessons and thereafter allow Jirou to correct them. It wasn't a sign of disrespect or carelessness. It was the compilation of arguments and fights they'd had when they were younger.
Now-a-days, the Futakongo brothers work in perfect harmony one with the other. Having built a sort of "thick skin" in regards to one another, their patience and diligence is what allows them to stay together. One could even say that it is an eccentric type of love that was born between them, but Sango and Hajime were always aware of their potential. They all continue to live in the same house to this day. Old enough to make their own decisions, though, Sango and Hajime stay out of their affairs and allow them to live the lives that they choose. It's a spectacle to see the two Futakongo brothers fused more often than what they used to be. From children to young men, there's no telling what type of shinobi the two will be crafted to be.
Sango only hopes that it will be worthwhile.
