Sitting atop a Waterfall on the outskirts of her home village, Ayano thought. Not about anything in particular; she just needed a break from training and from her family and the shinobi life for a little while. She dug her right hand into her pocket, retrieving a cigarette and a lighter. She light it up and took a drag off of it, blowing the smoke coolly from her lips. She looked down the waterfall into the cavern. Even when nothing was going right in her life, Ayano could always look to the aesthetics of her home village to cheer her up. It was all so beautiful.
This was a common place Ayano went to collect her thoughts and reflect about various things. A waterfall started at the top of a cavern, a small river feeding it. Just next to the waterfall at the top, anybody could sit and dangle their legs off of the edge. Even those afraid of heights didn’t have to fear; if you fell down the cavern, you would most likely land in the water, which is easily teen feet deep. At the right time of day, and that time was approaching fast now, when the sun set, the cavern lit up goldenly. Ayano smiled as she looked down at the clear blue water, the waterfall pouring into it.
Taking another drag off of her cigarette, Ayano stretched a little, the cigarette dangling between her lips plainly. Ayano was dressed in a black tank top, plain, black pants, and no shoes. Her tribal tattoo covered her right shoulder, extending further into her chest and back. Her black hair was straight today instead of the spikes that normally jutted out in the front. She had her usual black gloves on as well; she had trained earlier in the day. Loneliness isn’t so bad when you want it. She took another puff off of her cigarette.
Yeah, her life as a shinobi was going alright.
