Aoshi casually strode through the forest, his pace set at a comfortable level as his eyes surveyed the Land of Fire. The simplicity of trees covering the land for as far as the eye could see gave him a calm that he'd always enjoyed, though the lack of company did much to keep away thoughts of negligence or being hemmed all the same. He'd spent the entirety of the night cleaning his blade, its razor edge testament that he wielded and took care of it with reverence and ferocity. He was traveling to the Land of River, where he'd heard of a master who could teach him in the ways of the blade.

Surely, the determined Hokage could learn a thing or two as his journey progressed. The day yielded no more than a full day's worth of travel, the occasional stop to rest and eat aiding him in reaching the border. Once he was in the Land of River, he'd seek out the school of the Tensora practitioners and hopefully join their ranks. He had skill with a sword.

....But to what extent would it prove useful, he wondered.

He'd pulled himself from slumber early that morning, preparing himself in alternate attire to tackle the school that would allow him to learn the art of Tensora. Steeling his nerves, the Uchiha moved forward from his room and began the journey to swordsmanship's proper methods. He could only hope that Gabriel was with him.
