Tenshi pulled out her map and compass once she was away from the waterfall pool that hid her new home. If she remembered her geography right....yes, there. Although Waterfall country was coastal, having sea access in the northern area, the island of Moon Country was in the eastern continental sea. And in that direction from the north shore of Waterfall jutted out Lightning country, resembling nothing so much as a highly inconvenient phallus. Sailing around that would take days she didn't really have. Of course, it would be a good idea to mark the location of home on her map so as not to get lost on the return. But she had no pen. That wasn't very convenient. Improvising, she performed her Fire Stamp on a nearby tree, leaving a deep burn. She would then remove a twig and whittle it to a point against the side of the arboreal giant. So pointed, she dug the slim edge into the burned seal, coating it with charcoal and scratching her position onto her map. Viola, makeshift pencil.
Anyway, based on her map she would have to head...south, to Fire Country. They had their own Hidden Village there it was said, but she didn't know where it was and Fire Country was a large place. The odds of her straying too near and being assaulted were quite slim. That was for the best, most likely.
So she would set off at a relatively leisurely pace, following her compass to the south while keeping an eye out for a halfway decent road. Once she had located one, the flat ground and lack of vegetation getting in the way would provide the perfect track upon which to gain speed, unleashing her full capabilities as a taijutsu master. It was still quite a long run, and her stamina wasn't infinite, so eventually she found herself napping in the back of a wagon headed in the same direction. The traveling craftsman at its head was fairly easy on the eyes too.
Waterfall Country had such nice people.
