The boat awaited him.
Casually he strode forward, his Hokage's attire worn with the clear representation of Konoha over his garb. The AnBu were in close proximity as his feet carried him over the boarding planks, his eyes scanning the distance as an invigorating feeling crossed him. It would be the first time since he'd become a Genin that such opportunity was felt. Allowing his eyes to close for moments as preparation was made, he felt the winds carried across the atmosphere with the smell of the sea reaching his nose. "Kazu...I always say this...but I wish you were here..." the Uchiha murmured. The smirk that crossed his features was a humorous realization at himself.
The boat began to sway gently as its massive engines roared to life. Waves crashed up against the sides of the pristine white ship as it began to traverse the gulf, this territory seemingly endless as transition took him across its expanse. He'd rest and eat quite comfortably beneath the watchful eye of the AnBu. Konoha would be in capable hands with those he'd left in charge. And if nothing else, then Gosei would be more than able to take command. With these things in mind, Aoshi checked his items quite thoroughly and took the time to practice his jutsu across the water's surface. From the Suiton techniques he'd acquired, a multitude of them were at his disposal in practice.
Hours passed as he took to speaking with his subordinates, the stories of ninja and non-ninja within Konoha alike entertaining him as the ship made quick progress. Before a full day's journey could even be done, he had made it to the Land of Moon. This was the grounds in which he'd be participating. Higan surely wasn't far behind, and Aoshi would ensure that his transport would be just as simple. As the vessel reached the docks and allowed the Hokage to move, he nodded his thanks to the crewmen and departed toward what he knew to be the registration of his future endeavors.
