Examiner 3- Team 2- Isabella and Higan

[Chuunin Examiner]

The letters given to the applicants scattered them, sending the many people to the far corners of the island that is the Land of Moon, although one team just took a short jaunt down the street to the corner.

Still, though, no matter where they were sent, the address always lead to the same building; a short, squat warehouse that seemed constantly out-of-place, no matter where it was. Rusty metal walls with a tin roof left it looking downright rickety, and the interior was no comfort. A double-wide door would grate horrificly on the concrete floor as it was opened, leading into a dimlit interrogation-style room. A waist-high wooden table, lined with scratches and stains, stood imposingly behind two chairs, with a singular chair behind it. The names of the persons belonging to said chairs was etched in the back, and was visible from the doorway. Behind the table, another door could be seen, likely where the leaders of the exams would enter. But- these were the Chuunins. Expect the unexpected.

The room was completely quiet and the only visible life forms were the two rats that was chasing each other around the room. Some of the lamps in the room was broken, and the rest was blinking, clinging to their last breaths of life. Some light did however come through the cracked windows and broken double doors. Any person above average sense of scent was able to smell an old scent of blood, which could be explained by the red streaks on the walls and small round puddles on the concrete.

[The Roar of the Falls]

Isabella came running, puffing, nearly out of breath as she came up to the building. Her pack containing one single compass and her melody arm primed and attached to her right air. The building was.....old/ Dear god old. But this was Chuunun, nothing was as appeared and she had to made it, for Kaoru and her village.


Pushing open the heavy, and fucking noisy, door, she made her way deep,coing to a damp, dank room will three chair and a table. "Odd..." She mumbled, stepping forward slowly and activating her eyes, and swapping to X-ray, she scanned a 50 meter area constantly before settling into a seat on pins and needles....here it went...

Tasukeru (Seeing Life)
Rank: C, B, A, S
Skill: Doujutsu
Effect: Allows a full three hundred and sixty (360) degree field of vision and some predictability to physical attacks. Unlike Byakugan, the user sees life in its normal colors during this tech, no details spared. Signs of life, thermal readings and X Ray vision is near perfect. Can also read a determine the difference of a regular shinobi to that of one with a bloodline or if they house any foreign presence by the different chakra waves displayed when observed through Tasukeru. This does not mean one knows the BL right away. Must have encountered the BL before in order to know exactly who they are. The ‘C’ ranked version grants the user up to 50 meters of observing. Each new rank for the Jutsu will add 50 more meters. This can be trained multiple times after all the ranks are achieved in order to add 50 meters onto one’s total. Each extra training is worth an S ranked training.
Special: Although one is born with this jutsu, one must activate the eyes through training.
Drawback: Heavy chakra drain over time, especially when multiple phases of the Tasukeru are accessed. While Taijutsu can be predicted, the Onigami are not designed to have fast twitch muscles. As such, perfect blocking simply won’t happen all the time.
Description: Summoned through will, the scarlet eyes of the Onigami will grow a very vibrant neon red and all life becomes theirs to fully observe. Once activated, the user has a three hundred and sixty (360) degree field of vision, as well as the ability to see into other people’s bloods. For those allied to an Onigami, this jutsu is revered for making the Onigami known as the ultimate scouts.
Limit: Must be part of the Onigami BL.

[hagane]

Hagane took his time moving towards the building, moving at a moderate pace. As well, Hagane made sure through the winding path to use one of his kunai to mark varying things. Trees, rocks and other terrain, in the event he had to travel back this way. Hagane had upon arriving at the door, began to check his inventory once more. His brown and green tactical vest accompanying his black body suit underneath. His signature, S blade scythe on his back. Wrapped his waist was a bundle on wire to use when needed. He carried his four kunai, two smoke grenades and one incendiary grenade. Along with his combat knives, he had two small scrolls, eight 100ml vials and two 100ml syringes. Finishing his arsenal with thirty hira-shuriken and thirty-two makibishi spikes.

He slowly opened the door, observing the makings of it. He immediately noticed a woman inside, unsure of whether not she was ally, enemy, or part of the exam at this current time. He merely held his right hand behind his back as he closed the door and leaned against it, the right hand in question would at a moment's notice be used to generate a defense if necessary. For now however, the blood stained, caustic room provided little advantage or information for him at this time, as he then leered towards the girl.

"Konoha. You?"

Hagane said pointedly, it was a simple and straight question that would allow him to study the situation via her response. It was neither a passive nor aggressive answer and wasn't intrusive or evasive. It was a specific question that would garner a select division of results. Which results he discovered would give him a better understanding of the situation.

[ooc: Since this thread has been so slow, and I do like to give both of you a fair chance to get through it, I now put a 2 days IIC.]


When both of the ninjas had entered the room, a couple of hidden lights started to shine and make it a lot clearer to see the broken room. Even if the blood stains, dirt and cracks become easier to spot, it just didn't appear as frightening, it was basically just sad.

When Isabella activated her x-ray vision, she was able to see the skeleton of the two mice and the young boy in the room, but as the walls was made out of concrete, the room behind the secret door was still hidden. But as she sat down on the chair, she could hear how the door opened slightly with some complains. "Nyan nyan~" Could be heard as the door stopped and a pink flash passed the opening. A couple of seconds after the flash had gone by, two big vicious eyes appeared in the darkness hidden behind the door and a teenage girl dressed as a pink cat walked out on all four.

When she was all out in the light, she sat down and watched the two genins, observing as if she was able to look through them. She had her left hand move over the floor, and even though she didn't have any claws on them, deep scratches appeared on the floor. Her eyes got fixated on Isabella and she was scenting with two deep breaths through the nose before she turned and looked at the boy instead. "Don't kill each other yet, nya~?" She said with a quiet voice as she started to smile at the genins. "Wanna play with me?" The girl leaned her head to the right and wobbled a little with her entire body.

She didn't have the patient to wait that long for any response, so she jumped up on her legs and took a couple of quick steps towards the genins. When she reached the table, she banged her palms into it and leaned towards Isabella. "I have hidden the plans of our playdate in the basement, could you go fetch them for me?". In a flash, she had moved her right indexfinger to Isabella's forehead and a small drop of blood escaped the harmless wound. "You lead... nya~?". When she had received her answer, she would make a couple of somersaults backwards before she jumped up into the roof and started to walk on some beams.

The doors to the secret room then suddenly opened completely and a couple of faint lights shone in the room (10x7 meters). It looked like a cellar with a pair of knight armors next to a passage downwards.

The door opened and Isabella wheeled around viciously, her Melody Arm primed to release a debilitating blast when she stopped another person, more than likely Genin from his looks. He uttered two words, the only two they would need to even say in this case. His village, and what was hers.

"Taki."

Was her response as lights began to pop on inside the room, her eyes had seen everything the room had to offer, facing her new company, who had a headband and a nice assortment of items tucked away that she duly noted, her Dojutsu wasnt quite on par to follow the pink flare that darked past the door on the other side of the room. Well that was a lie, she saw it, but her body has not fast, no quick twitch muscles she could only really watch.

The blur came into focus and was a cat...erm...girl...like thing, person. As it spoke se stared silently, even when it flashed in her direction and poked her forehead. The momentary intrusion made her irritated but there was no time for sudden hostility. "Lead the way I shall." She mumbled, the catgirl flipping back to the door she had just entered and opening out into a rather rank hallway with two armored suits facing across at eachother.

"Right..." She mumbled, her first set of seals were lightning fast, three low pitched tones emitting from her body, far below the human range of hearing, that swept throguht the area, 150 meters mapped out instantaneously, then, flipping another quick few seals as she held her last form, her chakra roaring into her ears. It was a beautiful thing, sound jutsu. though her eyes could see 50 meters, she herself could literally hear anything within 150 meters, determine its height, weight, look and direction of travel, down to the last detail as well has what they looked like. If the armor was housing something or someone she would see it, or hear it instantly. Breathing, footfalls, you name it she had it.

As she stepped past the catgirl, she stared down the hall to the suits of armor and spoke out the side of her mouth without turning to face her. "Are those suits enchanted or anything of the like that will animate them? If I think you're lying, I'll obliterate this entire hallway before crossing it." It wasnt a threat more....a reassurance, that she wanted no issues. With 150 meters now blurprinted into her memory and the ability to hear and paint the image of whatever made the noise and its specific location, she felt confident she might survive the walk.

"Sonar"
Rank: D-C ranked
Skill: Supplementary Ninjutsu
Effect: The user can locate the general location of enemies.
Special: Bird, Boar, Ox
Drawback: Some objects might interfere with the sonar. Low rank provides a 2-D reading (explained below). Must be learned multiple times
Description: The user performs the need hand seals. From there, the user emits 3, very low pitched sound waves(via voice or weapon). The sound travels very quickly in a 360 degree radius. The low pitched sound bounces off various objects with the area and returns to the user to interpret. With this done, the user can pin point enemy movement and location in fractions of a second. The draw back to this that the sound wave only travels in a flat line until a C-rank is attained.
The user begins with 10 meters distance, increasing 20 Meters every time learned. After 50 meters, Training is moved to a C-Rank, which then allows the user to emit the sound wave in all three dimensions. Every time learned in C-ranked increase the distance to 25 meters, With a maximum of 150 meters.
Limit: Must have sound release. (150 tp -learned 7 times. 3-D 4-C 150 meters-)

Jigoku no Mimi (Hells ears) Universal
Rank: "D"
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: With this technique the user is capable of figuring the location of where a sound is coming from. This takes a post in order for this type of technique may take place.
Special: "Hand signs" and "Holds with the Boar"
Drawback: The user must stand still, with their eyes closed in order for the user to gain the capability of judging the direction of the sound.
Description: The way this works is that the user concentrates along the Sound release as they push the chakra along towards their ears. As the user does this, they concentrate on certain sounds that surrounds the user. If the sounds are in a large area and more sounds is created the user is capable of identifying the general location as to where the sound is coming from.
Limit: Sound Release (10 tp)

"Algorithmic Decipher"
Rank: C-rank
Skill: Ninjutsu, supplementary
Effect: The user understands sound made by writing or various forms of tapping (Morse code). He or she can also mimic the said sounds as well.
Special: Must be combined with Jigoku no Mimi (Hells ears)
Drawback:---
Description: The user can comprehend and decode sound waves emitted through "tapping". This is done by hearing a string of sounds, measuring there pitch, flow, consistency, etc. Any forms of writing/tapping, will now be understood and reproduced by the user. This is extremely useful in spying on opponenet or even sending messages back and forth.
Limit: Must have sound release, must unlock "Auditory Comprehension (30 tp)

"Bodily Decipher"

Effect: Explained below
Special: Must be combined with both Jigoku no Mimi (Hells ears) and "Sonar"

Description: The user interprets sound waves emitted by opponent. By understand the sound waves created by walking, breathing, heart beat, etc. The user is able to gauge their enemies bodily specification, such as their height, weight, muscle mass, etc.
This is extremely useful in gathering information on opponents before ever encountering them.
-This jutsu can also be used to retrieve information on multiple opponents as well.
Limit: Must have sound release, must unlock "Auditory Comprehension"

Effect: The user comprehends various types of sounds instantaneously
Special: Must be combined in use with Jigoku no Mimi (Hells ears) and/or "Sonar"

Description: A sound releases user has experienced many different types and used use many different type of sound. At this point, hearing and interpreting sound becomes second hand. The user can now interpret sounds heard, rather then just hearing them, deciphering what type of sound is made, location, etc. The user must train to understand the different types of sound made, listed below
Limit: Automatically gained once the user has knowledge of 500 TP of Sound Release techniques.

The soundwaves rushed through the room and down into the darkness. When the echo returned to Isabella, she would be able to hear that the passage reached almost 75 meters down before it split into a T-crossway. Th road after that was hard to figure out, but it seemed to be splitting several other times later too. But what was more interesting, was that Isabella could hear with her enhanced hearing movements and breathing from inside the armors. It was rather strained breathing, as if the person was hot and worn out but prepared to act his role nonetheless. Both of the persons hiding in the armors appeared to be rather muscular men of average height and weight. Tihe, you actually think I'll ruin my pleasure by revealing things? Nyan~

The girl sat down on one of the beams and closely looked down upon Isabella with a vicious smile. Even if she hadn't revealed anything, she had noticed that Isabella had heard something interesting, and appeared to wait for some action. She was however a little disappointed on the other genin, as he was still. I guess we'll have to play alone, don't we? She jumped down on the ground and stopped on the entrance to the hidden room.

"At least you're consistent." She replied, the smile on the girls face was rather unnerving. Her Dojutsu remained active, a miniscule drain of chakra, and she moved slowly down the hall, not even taking 4 paces as she ees the armors and felt a pang of sorrow and compassion for the two in the suits of armor. She knew they were simply playing their roles and had probably volunteered for this, but they knew what they were signing up for, if they had volunteered or not, and would simply deal with what happened.

"You played your part well guys, I appreciate your efforts." She tossed the suits of armor a sad smile, her handseals again a blur of motion a she crafted a sound orb, visible only to dojutsu and enhance air pressure density sight. The orb captured particles in the air within itself and charged them with chakra, the partices simply waiting for the initial spark to rupture the orb and with her next set of reduced seals she did just that. The orb was controllable up to 40 meters away from her.

She flipped more reduced seals, quick, precise, sparking the chakra in the orb and causing the orb to compress and build up massive pressure and fly forward to position itself between herself and the suits of armor, leaving her just outside of its range as it ruptured, everything within 10 meters suffered a debilitating sound as if hundreds of explosive tags had went off at once at close range. The sound waves resounded off one another, entering the ear canal and assaulting the eardrum, disturbing the liquid within and destroying the ability to walk, run or even stand, simply crumpling to their knees on top of receiving C ranked sound damage.

Having completed the deed she put both hands to her mouth in sudden worry. If the sound waves already could destroy the ability to stand in a normal person and the sound waves wold produce a C rank worth of damage to the ears and body...what would it do to someone caught within a metal suit of armor...oh no... "I'm so sorry!" She called out after the jutsu, her voice would never reach though, the orb explosion lasted one full round and would remain in affect.

Turning to the cat girl she frowned slightly, the path ways ahead splintering off into too many directions. "You could have saved me the trouble..." The other genin was simply a body in the room and she eyed him with a particular sense of displeasure before walking down the hall as the jutsu began to reside. The poor people within those suits of armor...her eyes contained X-ray readings as well, and she looked carefully before proceeding to the door on the other side of the hallway, tiptoeing over the suits of armor but ready to shunshin should she need to.

"Otokapuseru Haretsu" (Sound Capsule Explosion)

Effect: Causes the orb derived from "Otokapuseru Shuhou" (Sound Capsule technique) compress, then rupture; creating a loud boom in its wake.
Special: "Boar Handseal" after the creation of a sound capsule
Drawback: Harms Friend, Foe and User. The orb travels a maximum of 40 meters.
Description: Upon performing a Dog handseal, the capsule derived from "Otokapuseru Shuhou" (Sound Capsule technique) will begin to quickly compress onto itself, and reduce it size to no less then 2 cm in diameter. The particles trapped within the orb will vibrate and oscillate at a tremendous rate. Upon shrinkage, the orb flies forward, in the desired direction of the user. The orb will travel as fast as a thrown kunai, and upon the users command, rupture and release the strained particles that have been trapped within. This sudden release causes the chakra infused particles to react with surrounding particles, forcing them to vibrate and oscillate as well; creating a chain reaction of sorts. All of these particles, in essence, produce sound as the particles vibrate, oscillate and causing changes in air pressure and creating sound waves. The rupture, to the ears of opponents, sounds like an explosion, created by many Exploding tags. Opponents caught within 10 meter area of the sphere's instantaneous rupture, receives sonic damage: being disorientated and losing complete balance for 1 round.

"Otokapuseru Shuhou" (Sound Capsule technique)

Description: Upon performing a set of handseals, ending with the Boar sign, the user creates an orb of chakra before them. The orb is roughly the size of a soccer ball, and encapsulates various particles of dust, water vapor and/or particulates within it volume. Chakra released by the user will mingle and mix with the said particles at the same time, causing them to vibrate and oscillate continually and rapidly. The orb does not cause or inflict harm, but is considered the prerequisites to other sound based techniques. The sphere itself, along with many of its techniques are invisible to the naked eye.
Limit: Sound Release.

As Isabella revealed that she had noticed the both men inside the armors, they turned their heads towards her and took a step closer to the center of the room. It appeared like they had expected to surprise the genins by acting as mere decorations, but they were prepared to fight regardless. They raise their armored fists and prepare to charge towards the girl. But as they notice her seals, they start making their own, but too slow. When the soundburst hit them, both of the armored men covered their ears while crying out in pain. They fell down to the ground on their knees before laying down, twitching in their entire body. Blood seeped out from their ears and the men were clearly nauseated. Good, good. The cat girl clapped her hands as she watched the scenario in joy. Even though the men appeared to be rendered incapacitated, the girl walked over to them and pushed a clawed finger inside their neck armor and slit their throat. It's more fun down there, nyan~ She said and pointed downwards the stairs with a vicious smile, the girl did not lie, she meant what she said.

When Isabella reached the other side of the room, she was able to see down into the dark passage unhindered thanks to her bloodline. Every 15 meter, there was torches hanging without any other use than provide light to whomever incapable of seeing in the dark. When she got further down, she would be able to see that the basement floor was a complex maze that reached farther than she was capable of seeing. Isabella could also notice that there were some hidden slots within the walls basically everywhere.

(ooc: the maze starts with a T crossroad, then the pattern is a crossroad (forward or right), then crossroad (forward or left) and finally a X crossing before starting over with the first crossroad(forward or right) again. It's like this regardless of what way you take.

Edit: btw, since you have x-ray vision, you are able to see that the walls moves to make the new shape every time you takes a turn.

After some deliberation with staff and looking over the exams myself, the one who may go back to obtain Chuunin from their village is Isabella. Congratulations. You may return to your village and, if your Kage deems fit, you will receive the Chuunin Title. For the other, you did not pass the exams and are not eligible to receive the title of Chuunin at this time. Feel free to try again at the next exams.
