Objective: In the Land of Waves lays a hidden chest. Travel there and bring back the item in the chest.
Description: Every post of searching in the Land of Waves will result in a die roll. The box is a 10% chance to find. Anything between 11% and 30% the ninja will find a clue making it 10% easier to find. If a clue is found the percentage for the clues goes up to 19%. (Ex. First clue found 21% to 40%. So on and so on) Once the chest is found it is to be taken back to the Hidden Sound Village and placed in the vault.
Reward: 2,000 Ryo (2,800 Ryo if taken with more than one PC)

As he left the gates of his village Kyogi quickly withdrew his world map and compass looking down at them. Quickly he scanned through the different mission slips to see where to head first. The closest of the treasures was in the land of waves. Kyogi had traveled there one before and knew a quick path to arrive there. Wearing a simple clothing of a traveler he wore a green tshirt and black pants. Kyogi's headband rested upon his forehead just as his shoes rested upon his feet.

As soon as he started Kyogi began in a sprint towards the land of fire. The sound countryside was small compared to the land of fire and it was a good way to keep his endurance in check. Kyogi moved from sprinting to jogging to walking. Constantly changing up his speed he knew he'd arrive in the land of fire soon. Treasure was hidden somewhere and it would be his.

Arriving in the large country of fire Kyogi knew better than going towards the center. The land of waves was near the shores of the land of fire. What this meant for Kyogi was he got to enjoy traveling near the coast of the country. First Kyogi walked on the border of fire and hot springs. Hot springs was a place he was comfortable with but he didn’t have time to stop there. Kyogi decided to pick up his pace so he could get to the part of this country he really enjoyed, the water.

As Kyogi reached the shore he looked out it was a nice sight to see. Blue water, blue skies, there were people enjoying water swimming and riding surf boards. Kyogi wondered why he didn’t go to the beach more it certainly seemed fun. Perhaps on his next break he’d have to go. As his travels continued he saw the transition point. Kyogi was quickly approaching the land of waves where the first piece of treasure had to be hidden. Treasure hunting brought about the unknown something about not knowing always excited him. Anything could be waiting.

Arriving in the land of waves brought a smile to his face. The last time he’d gone treasure hunting a wild man had appeared and sent him off course. It seemed that luck was on his side for now. His right hand retrieved the mission slip reviewing it once more. Somewhere in this country was a chest with his prize within it. If only the description gave any tips as to where. Kyogi’s eyes closed breathing calmly he spoke out to Araqiel. ”Please guide me and watch over my search.” Eyes reopening Kyogi felt refreshed after his small prayer and was ready to carry on.

Quickly he found surrounded on a grassy plain filled with scattered lakes. The land seemed filled with them. Using his chakra he was able to walk right over them as he searched. Perhaps the chest was buried beneath the water. Looking under the clear blue water Kyogi was looking for any large dark object upon the lake’s floor. Suddenly Kyogi’s eyes locked upon what appeared to be a box in the water. It looked to be a two foot large cube. His eyes were filled with the spark of success. Chakra was removed from his feet and he dropped instantly into the water. Swimming downward it seemed he’d have to go about eight feet down to reach the mystery box. Was his prize within?

The box at the bottom was perhaps the strangest shape of a rock he’d ever seen. A rock that looked like a box someone was laughing at him right now he was sure of it. Kyogi quickly swam to the surface and got out of the water and onto dry land. Perhaps diving in with all of his clothing was a bad idea. Kyogi wanted to dry his clothing but there was no time to waste he’d have to dry off during his search. The first thing he did was activate his mind’s eye to scan the area. As Kyogi walked through the grass plain he avoided any further bodies of water hoping to pick up on somebody’s signal. There was a chance the treasure he sought was guarded or had already been found. Where ever it might be hiding Kyogi was going to find it soon. No amount of water would break his will to complete the mission.

There was a glimmer in Kyogi’s eye when he picked up a signal about forty meters away. He was just about to pop a few shunshins when a pause took place. The idea of fast travel was nice but he could miss the treasure along the way. Kyogi’s walk turned into a quick jog as he made way towards the old man. Perhaps he held the treasure or better a clue to where it could be found. However he had to keep a careful eye during his jog for the treasure it would be a waste of his time if he passed it without noticing.

It did however seem the speeds that Kyogi was traveling in relation to the elder man would bring them to meet. From the moment Kyogi got within ten meters of the man his own identity could be felt. As he got within this distance Kyogi decided to raise his left hand in the air to wave as his right hand cupped in a C shape around his mouth for Kyogi to yell out, ”Hello there!” Kyogi hoped to pick the man’s brain as he drew in close but as he drew close his cautious side began to invade his mind. Even the elderly could be deceiving if he was not careful…but his instincts and faith helped calm his worrying mind.

Description: The bane of good and justice, evil; nothing can stand against it other than your will to defeat it and protect others from its debilitating effects. Your will alone gives you the ability to sense evil intentions within other people within a twenty meter radius, by focusing on their aura you can tell whether their motives are pure or corrupt. One is able to inactively notice evil from those who explicitly express it, but finding hidden motive is harder, and people of higher rank than the user can actually mask their hate to such an extent that it can’t be found (though extreme hate and violence can still be seen even within a higher ranked person as long as they aren’t hiding it.) (Obvious motives = killer intent, hate, ect. Hidden motives = tasks that involve destruction, mission involving assassination, ect.)

[/i] treasure!"[/b] The old man squeaked, before twirling around and running off in a bustle, his thin legs carrying him quite the distance in his awkward running gait.

If not followed he would simply continue to run off into the distance, the jangling of his pack betraying his range, eventually fading into obscurity behind the occasional rock or tree.[/ul][/font]

[Kyogi]

From the moment he got the man’s attention the mood changed. The old man was so untrusting did he appear to be a bandit or a mugger? A small blade was unsheathed but that wasn’t going to scare off Kyogi, he hoped to get some answers and was hoping they wouldn’t have to fight for him to get them. Mid run towards the man Kyogi would form quick handseals holding the rabit seal his chakra would allow him to surf quickly towards the old man. As he made his quick approach he yelled out again, ”Please stop I mean you no harm. I just want to know about the Citrine Horse!” With his body being carried forward by the wind he’d quickly catch up with the old man though he’d keep about a five foot distance from him. A scared old man carrying a dagger certainly was not the kind of person he wanted to get in arm’s reach of. Yet he could hold the key for the prize he searched. Why was he so scared?

[/b] He yelped, screwing his eyes shut and flailing the dagger over his shoulder in a futile attempt to look dangerous. The stones that littered the grass plain were growing more frequent now, rising into considerable boulders as bare dirt became evident in patches across the turf. [/ul][/font]

As he got to his appropriate distance it seemed that knowing of the treasure only maddened the old man. This only encouraged him further to chase him. How was he to stop him without bringing harm? Releasing the chakra from his feet Kyogi would just run behind the old man forming hand seals. The old man moved quickly but he was able to keep up rather simply. As his handseals finished he was able to quickly form a wall of wind about two meters ahead of the direction the man was running.

As it finished forming he hoped the man would run into it but his handseals would not end. They went through the same exact seals intending to form another wall of wind to entrap the man so he could get his answers. ”Do you know where the horse is? I need to find it…please calm down.” Something had to be done to defuse the situation the man was bordering on senile perhaps a calmer man could help him find what he sought. Hopefully the item he held would not be fake.

Effect: Creates an invisible wall of high pressure air anywhere on the battlefield. Multiples ones can be placed creating for an extremely good defense and a confusing time for opponents who keep running into walls.
Special: Handseals
Drawback: Can be seen through by Byakuugen and Sharingan.
Description: The user creates the bird handseal and pushes outward creating the wall. This is useful for a quick defense when an opponent is running towards you or to scatter around the battlefield to trap or confuse then opponent.
Limit: Must have wind release.

[/b] He screeched, beating a spindly little fist down upon the grass in his anger and frustration, feeling disempowered by the invisible-wall-creating man who stood before him.[/ul][/font]

”You will not find it! Only I! Only I can have it!” Although his technique was successful the ramblings of the man proved only useful to show he knew nothing. This was a man who’d gone crazy searching for a lost treasure not one who held it. Kyogi would seem to disappear before the man shunshinning away twenty meters from the man. From here he would return to surfing along the ground towards a large forest of trees. As he Kyogi found himself surrounded by trees he slowed his movement to continue his search for the Citrine Horse.

As he surfed Kyogi found himself almost colliding with the tree branches. Rather than hurt himself he released the chakra from his feet. Grabbing onto the nearest one it seemed he would be able to hop from branch to branch. As he moved swiftly through the forest he picked up his pace moving more fluidly. This treasure seemed to be much more elusive than the last in the back of his mind he hoped that he would not go mad like that old man. There was no way he could let that happen! Kyogi decided he wanted some company to help him along with his search as he jumped between the trees.

Coming to a sudden halt Kyogi pressed his fingers together a shadow clone emerged next to him. ”Hello me.” The clone simply nodded and they carried on jumping between the trees. With two Kyogi’s around now he hoped that one of their four eyes would fall upon a chest, or a clue or perhaps even the horse they sought. The land of waves was indeed huge to hide such a small prize.

Farther forward Kyogi pushed himself beads of sweat forming upon his brow from the uphill climb. Truly he hoped his path was not another waste of time. Kyogi’s eyes scanned the area listening to the sounds of the bugs yet amongst them seemed to be no treasure. It was only as he carried forward that a familiar odor caught his nose. The smell of smoke meant that there were likely people to have caused it. Again his mind’s eye was activated to scan the area around him for fifty meters. If that old man had been treasure hunting surely he wasn’t the only one searching.

A brow was raised as he moved deeper through the smoke yet he couldn't find a source. Either what was causing it was quite good at hiding its presence or the smoke had traveled quite a distance to become a bother for him. Where ever he was heading seemed to be bothering the wildlife no actual threats made but it was almost like his presence was unwelcome. Yet he couldn't let the noises of a few bugs get to him. Kyogi would power his way up the incline and through the forest hopping from tree to tree still. There was not even a hint of where the damn treasure was. For all he knew he could've been running in circles though he was pretty sure that wasn't occurring.
