Now Training: Rock Creation "C" Rank 0/30
Kade sat peacefully in the gardens of the place that he had taken as his home. It had once belonged to his parents, now deceased, but with their passing the home had, of course, passed onto him. Trees blew gently, the soft chill of autumn only beginning to touch the boy whose daily meditations often left him alone in this place for hours. To any passerby, he might appear to be lazy, but appearances could be deceiving... for while his eyes were closed and his breathing was slow, there was a level of alertness and concentration within him that few could ever hope to achieve.
Within his body, his chakra circulatory system was burning like an azure wildfire. It coursed throughout his body, and it was through today's practice and training sessions that Kade planned to bring that energy to bear. He began by recalling the steps of the technique that he already had the very basic understanding of -- Rock Creation. It was the sort of technique that was critical to the success of a Doton-using shinobi, and Kade knew that the more that he used the jutsu, the more proficient at it he would be become.
His fingers, therefore, began a very careful dance. Each movement was delicate and precise, with no wasted movements, yet without the slightest hint of hesitation. As his digits traced their way through the symbols of the evening sky, Kade could feel the energy that he had spent his evening building up beginning to bristle. Chakra, once brought forth, desired to be used. Kade would be more than happy to oblige.
With the final seal completed, Kade channeled his energy through his hands and gently placed them on the ground before him. The azure light, visible to no soul without the gift of chakra sight, would flow from the palms of his hands into the earth that made up the young man's surroundings. With his eyes closed, Kade was not distracted by the sea of activity that existed in his surroundings. He could not see or hear the bugs that chirped and moved through the leaves.
He could not see the grass around him begin to stiffen. He could not see it, but he could feel it. Slowly, oh so excruciatingly slowly, the grass that once gently floated in the breeze began to harden, its cellular structure, the very building blocks of its existence, was being modified by the energy that blazed through the palms of the shinobi's hands. Kade continued to focus, letting the chakra flow out of him and into the grass around him for another minute strong before slowing and finally halting the energy transfer.
