Description: A Two-Handed Weapon. This weapon is composed of three individual Imperial, Blood Bonded, Ioun Great Scythes that can be combine into one weapon or used separately. Only once whole can it truly be called the Death Scythe. Each of the scythes' blades are composed of special metals, each one granting their own effects. Each one is blessed with the Enchantments Imperial Weapon, Blood Feeding, and Ghost Touch. Attacks with the imperial weapon ignore all Hardness, and up to 5 Armour Points of Damage Reduction. The imperial weapon is not subject to effects that ignore Hardness. Power (At-Will, move movement): Chakra. Use when separated with the weapon while it is within line of sight.The weapon flies into the user's hand unless it is somehow prevented from doing so. The weapon can move at a rate of 20 meters per Second. A Bloodfeeding weapon has a blood-red tint. Every time a bloodfeeding weapon deals damage to a living creature, it gains 1 "blood point," which it can store for up to 1 hour. The weapon can store a maximum of 10 blood points. This effect is continuous and requires no activation. When the user deals damage to a creature while wielding a bloodfeeding weapon, the user can activate the weapon to spend up to 5 stored blood points. Each blood point the user spends in this way deals an extra 2 Armour Points of damage to that creature. A ghost touch weapon deals damage normally against incorporeal creatures. (An incorporeal creature's 50% chance to avoid damage does not apply to attacks with ghost touch weapons.) The weapon can be picked up and moved by an incorporeal creature at any time. A manifesting ghost can wield the weapon against corporeal foes. Essentially, a ghost touch weapon counts as either corporeal or incorporeal at any given time, whichever is more beneficial to the wielder. The Death Scythe is 18 inches longer than a scythe and is too large for a Medium-size creature to use with 2-hands correctly. A large creature could use a scythe with two hands and will not suffer any drawbacks while wielding the weapon. A creature may learn Weapon Specialization: Speed Training to remove the drawbacks of Movement restrictions. If the user learns Wield Oversized Weapon the user is able to wield the weapon 1-handed.
- Blade #1: Killing Blow; The first Scythe is composed of Aeroglass. Non Magnetic Material. Aeroglass is a light, strong glass containing small amounts of adamantine and numerous minute air bubbles. This Blade does +46 Armor Points of Damage, and has a defense of Hardness: 7; Armour Points: 12. This Blade is made for the simple science of slicing opponents to pieces. Due to it's light weight, they gain an additional +1 additional attack in 1 movement per round As and ioun weapon it can freely orbit the user. On first acquiring an ioun weapon, the user must hold and then release it, whereupon it orbits the user at a distance of 1 meter. Two-handed weapons cannot orbit the user in close confines, so few weapons lager than one-handed have this special ability. When an ioun weapon orbits the user, the user can grasp it as a free movement. Whenever the user drops the weapon or is disarmed it floats up to orbit the user again. The user may voluntarily seize and store an ion weapon to keep it safe, but the user cannot then gain the benefits of its properties until it is drawn and released. An ioun weapon must be grasped to separate it from the user. This requires a melee touch attack against the Weapon and provokes an Opportunity Attack from the user. The user can grasp the weapon as a free movement and use it to make the Opportunity of Attack. Whenever anyone except its owner or a member of their bloodline attempts to wield a blood bonded weapon, they take 60ap of damage (No saves) each round. When the last member of the bloodline dies, the thorny weapon may be freely claimed (although it will bloody the new owner the first time they grasp it). - Blade #2: Requiem; The second Scythe is composed of a material known as Mortal Woe. It's blade is translucent with an obvious crystalline structure with a blood-red tint, but humanoid onlookers looking into it often gives them a sense of an oncoming migraine. It has a wild interaction when it encounters a sentient humanoid. The Blade does +46 Armor Points of Damage, with a defense of ;Hardness: 10; Armour Points: 30. It deals additional damage once every minute when they strike a creature of the humanoid type, the amount is based on the victim's Class Level, à la the power of their mortal soul. The more powerful the soul, the more violently it reacts with the metal, though it takes another minute for it to build up another charge. The wielder will also be damaged as well. The Damage done for both wielder and victim is 6 per their Class Level. As and ioun weapon it can freely orbit the user. On first acquiring an ioun weapon, the user must hold and then release it, whereupon it orbits the user at a distance of 1 meter. - Blade #3: Petty Grudge; This Scythe is possibly the most terrifying of the three. It is composed of the extremely rare Thinaun Metal. The Blades does +46 Armor Points of Damage, with Hardness of 11, and 30 Armor Points of defense. If it is touching a creature when it dies, that creature's soul is sucked into the weapon rather than passing on to its final reward. The soul remains in the weapon until the weapon is destroyed or another creature dies while touching it (the new soul displaces the old one). Raise dead, resurrection, and similar abilities will not bring back a creature whose soul is trapped by a the weapon unless the user has the weapon in their possession. Because the soul is nearby, fewer material components are required for such Rituals: Raise dead, Resurrection, and etc. requires half as much of the relevant performance cost (unguents or diamonds) to perform if the soul is within the weapon.
