Description: A woman in the Village has lost her prize winning Pug and she has asked the Kazekage to send every ninja available on the mission to find her dog. The woman is sure that the dog is somewhere in the city and has not escaped into the deserts around the Village.
Objective: Find the dog and bring it back to the Kazekage building where it will be reunited with its owner.
Reward: 1,250 Ryo


Kusanagi left the Mission department with the information for his next mission in his hand. He wore his normal attire, a blue full body suit, with blue t-shirt-like sleeves, 3|4 length legs, an open neck, a green cloth over his right shoulder and right side of his hips and blue shinobi sandals. On his forehead was the Sunagakure headband and, on his right shoulder hanged his clay pouch with lots of clay inside.

He was really looking forward to this mission, mainly because it involved an animal. He was told everything he needed to know about the dog and, was also given a photo of the dog. Kusanagi loved playing hide and seek so, this mission was just like a game of hide and seek to him. He took some time to think of where the dog would run of to. He had the whole day to search so, he was relaxed. 'If I were a dog, where would I run off to?' he stopped for a while to think. After moments of not being able to come up with an answer of where he would run off to, he decided to walk around the village, maybe he would be lucky, and run into the dog.

As he walked, something came to his mind, "Dogs love food so, I'm guessing it went to a place with lots of food."[/color] He stopped again to think of places with lots of food. He was struggling to think of any place with a lot of food, until a smell of burning meat got right into his nose. "Ahaaa, the markets. There are a lot of food in the markets so, the pug should be there," said as he followed the smell torwards the big busy markets.

After a few moments of walking, Kusanagi got to the markets. And damn the markets were helluva big, there were people everywhere. The streets were full, and it was gonna be hard for Kusanagi, to find the dog in a crowded place. He walked around the market searching for the dog. He had the whole day, so he was in no hurry, there was a clown, who was entertaining people. Kusanagi loved clowns, he went to join the crowd, where the clown was performing. "Let me watch this guy for two minutes," he said to himself.

The trick that the clown was performing were so awesome that Kusanagi, even forgot that he had a mission to finish. Instead of watching for two minutes, he watched for a whole half an hour, until he remebered that he was on a mission, "shiiit, I shouldn't be here I have a dog to find." He continued with his search for the dog. He looked everywhere, he moved all around the market searching, but did not find the dog. He decided that he would ask someone who works on the streets, he saw an old man who sells fish just near him, he decided to go to the man and ask, "Hello sir, I'm looking for my dog, a very small, brow pug, have you seen it?" Kusanagi asked. "No, I haven't seen it, sorry," the man replied.

Kusanagi continued asking and searching for the dog with no luck. He was not going to give up, he had to find that dog. As he walked, and idea came into his mind, "I have to find a place with a lot of meat, I am sure that dog Is somewhere meaty." He following the smell of the meat that was burning in the markets. He realised that the dog wouldn't be easy to spot on the ground. So, he decided to climb on the roofs of the buildings, and try to find the dog from up there. The roofs were very high, he could see everything from up there. As he walked above the roof, he found the place, where the meaty smell was coming from. He looked around, and spotted a little brown dog running from a man. "Small and brown, that must be the dog I'm looking for. I better not lose sight of it," he said. The dog was running very fast, it seemed it had something in its mouth and a man was chasing it with a broom in his hand.

Kusanagi was running on the roof, with his sight on the dog. He knew that he could not grab the dog, while he is on the roof, he had to come down and coming down would surely take a time, maybe enough time to even lose the dog. He decided to get off the roof, he took more time than he thought he would, getting off the roof. When he got off he had lost sight of the dog and man, who was chasing it, but he knew the direction at which they were running. So, he started running as fast as he could, trying to find the dog.

As he ran, he reached an area, where there was a croos road, he did not know which road to take. So, he decided to ask the first person he sees, he saw a lady carrying many bags, and decided to ask her, "Hello ma'am, have you seen small, brown dog running through here, which way did it go?" he asked. "Yea, I've seen it. It went that way, a man was chasing it," the lady replied, and pointed the direction at which the dog and man moved. "Thank you" Kusanagi did not waste any time, he ran to the direction at which he was pointed at lightning speed. He moved at his maximum speed.

He found the man, who was chasing the pug with the pug in his hand. The man was squeezing, and hurting the pug. Kusanagi looked cleared to make that it was the dog he was looking for. After seeing that it is the right dog, he went to the man, "Excuse me sir, I think that is my dog," he said pointing at the dog in the man's hand. The man turned his face and looked at Kusanagi "Well, boy, your dog stole my meat. I am going to slaughter it," the man replied with an evil grin. The man squeezed the dog, and it howled in pain, "Sir, please give me my dog or I'm gonna have to take action," Kusanagi said, he looked serious. The man just looked at Kusa, and giggled, "Are ya threatning me kid?" the man asked. He continued squeezing the dog harder and harder. Kusanagi was getting very angry, he loved animals so much, he did not want to see them get hurt. "Sir, I'm warning you, I am a trained shinobi." As soon as the man heard the word "shinobi" he let the dog go Kusanagi went to the dog, picked it up, and massaged it a little bit, to make it feel better. He had a way of getting along with animals, so he took the dog and headed to the mission department, where he would return the dog to its owner.
