The Issue: Right, Isley has recently bought a dead body to rain and thanks to my characters ability to take an eye and see up to 3 hours before the death.

He died within the first thread after exiting the village gates and still within the land - provided I get taken back to the thread by means of Isley's character logic dictates that thanks to possessing the memory of 3 hours before his death I can locate the village by tracking his path backwards.

Before I do this and get accused of met gaming etc I have done all the steps up to it I just now want to confirm it is possible.


The technique is below:

Utsurome Joukei (Lost-Eye Sight) - 80
Rank: B
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Allows the user to remove an eye from a dead body and view up to 3 hours into its past.
Special: Removing an eye from a corpse and placing it in your empty eye socket. then holding a single handseal for the duration of viewing their experience.
Drawback: One can only remember three of the memory “movies” they view. It acts almost like a hard drive. One may delete or overwrite any of the memories whenever they wish.
Description: The person who learns this technique is now able to use the Utsurome Ritual’s true ability. When they find a corpse, usually the victim after a ninja battle, the user is able to remove one of their eyes, and place it within their own. Then connecting this new eye to their brain via chakra receptors, the user is able to view the last moments up until their death. General this time is about 3 hours. This is useful in that the user will now have an image of the murderer, and possibly a trail to follow, along with whatever other information is depicted. The eye gives a full visual, and is able to play a memory based recording of the event in the users mind. Once the technique is used once, the eye literally melts and falls out of the empty socket. It is impossible to keep a new eye in this empty socket no matter what. There would be no way for the user to sustain its life. The user is able to record up to 3 of these memories before they need to “delete” / overwrite to make room for new ones.
Limit: Utsurome Ritual and an eye from the person you are viewing.

Note there is under 50 minutes between gate exit and thread entry and the fight happens within two hours and ends on the same page

given that the threads were set up to fall in isley's favor, perhaps a red or green should answer this question, as it pertains to the one's eye you wish to use wishing to be scrapped.

honestly, its just an eye technique. i personally wouldn't have a problem with you using it, but given the circumstances and situation this falls under, another higher authority should answer this question i guess.


edit: pertaining to the tangibility of the eye, given isley--in multiple threads--moving the body from country to country and stating that she slammed her scythe into its skull, maybe this isn't gonna fly afterall. she traveled from fire to rain, to earth back to rain dragging a body, and somewhere in between stated slamming her scythe into its head to lug it around. yikes. don't see the eye surviving so harsh a travel, especially through numerous terrains where the body should have undoubtedly began to rot, or grow fetid.

Mmmm, no I'm not going to allow someone to know the location of a village just by exiting and someone kills that person if they have that ritual. I'll allow you can see that they left the gates but you wont know where they are from. Sorry but that just gives people excuses to grab this ritual and farm gates.
