Not many had ever dreamed as going far as Yuudai had in strength-- when it came to the demonstration of his raw strength, he was in a class that only the sages of old had achieved. With his hands he could shatter bones, deconstruct buildings and--more likely than not--level a mountain. He was well aware of his position, he was well aware of the prestige he had acquired through the application of his determination, which seemed to have no gauge. But, beyond the strength of his body there had been a strength of mind that seemed almost alien.
When it came to accessing powers that had been forbidden, much more came from it than strength. From his experience, in an instance what would come about would be an explosion. Your body would be rocked, but your mind would go through something incomparable. The perception native to you was no longer true, for what you saw went beyond what human eyes could comprehend. It was maddening, it was sickening, it was something that only so many could achieve and willfully end. The extension of time beyond those new found limits could possibly mean injury, but most likely death.
The difficult thing about going beyond your limits when it came to tapping into that forbidden reserve was there truly was no way to be able to tell when you exceeded a previous boundary. You were expected to keep rigorous to your training, to keep your body clean and to seek tutelage that would allow you to train your mind even further. You were required to look beyond the beyond, to see past all the strength and regain your composure, fully disregarding the cacophonous explosion within your body, your chakra capering wildly as your flesh struggled to remain intact each time you exceeded another minute.
But, if you could retain your sanity you were more than likely capable of retaining your body, lest you be devoured by your inner chakras. Each day would be the same for Yuudai as, even now, he had continuously been breaking a sweat. He had long forsaken the concept of "keeping count" or "keeping track" of anything as he slowly lost sight of the line that would divide the minutes from hours. Each pushup he would crank out was nothing short of an explosion as he began dripping from head to toe, sweat slowly sliding down his forehead and onto his broad nose. Each time he would come up, he would slam his chest back into the ground, eventually cracking the concrete underneath him. He sought to toughen his body further while he attained more strength. With the shape he had been in now, you could speculate that he had been at this for several hours-- but, looking him in the eye there was no sign of fatigue and no indication of slowing down.
---In fact, he would only speed up.
This was a warm-up as he would be putting days aside for his project. He would further test his limits as he sought to gain even more power. Letting his will falter was not an option, as he was the heir of the greatest family in Otogakure. . . in this era-- no, in this world. For another hour would he only rinse and repeat the routine, he would switch among the various sorts of push ups as he made sure to warm-up and loosen every single muscle. He needed his blood running, he needed his adrenaline rushing if he was going to be able to accomplish a single thing. He was going to slowly rock through each phase of the Hachimontonkou until he would feel that inner eruption of a new power being achieved, of a new threshold being reached.
At some point, Otogakure was bound to feel the effect.
