There had only been a couple of miles that separated the business district of Otogakure from the mission office they had only just left. In just those two miles, however, one could see the destruction the Minotaur had painted across the grim-dark beauty which was the Village hidden in Sound. The chaos that beast of legend reigned across this particular district made it barren, despite a few constructs that still stood sturdy. A gray bastion of clouds shielded them from the sun, however it only intensified the melancholic aura that perfumed unrestrained in this forelorned warzone.
Yuudai, the giant of Otogakure, was still garbed in his Chuunin attire. His current wardrobe consisted of a navy long-sleeve top and matching bottoms complimented by a muddy-olive flak jacket and open-toed sandals. Tied around his waist was a sash whose majestic colors of violet and emerald heralded a timeless melody of the greatest family in Otogakure. Strapped firmly across his body and resting idly on his back was his massive tower shield. The patterns that it bore were intricately designed and still, regardless of the hits it had absorbed in its routine use, seemed radiate a foreign beauty.
Finally, after wading halfway through the district the Chuunin came to a full halt. It was if was sealed in his own vacuum, as he succeeding in not producing noise. He tentatively listened for anything that may had seemed alien in a business distract. With his chocolate eyes he surveyed the area around them intimately, grazing over every detail he could. The bronze giant was in search of tracks, a pattern of destruction or maybe even real, physical signs pointing to his lair. Beyond the shadow of a doubt he must have had a haven, but where would he find it? He was alert and on guard and in no way could he be flanked from any direction.
"York," he calmly began with the assumption that his brother still trailed behind him, "did you bring a knife?" He asked in a half-assedly hushed voice, the thought of beheading the man-made abomination still fresh in his mind.
Tracking [80] [125/125SP] x8
Rank: "D"
Skill: Skill
Effect: Characters use this skill to follow the trail of animals and other persons.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Can be learned by an Animal. Tracking means the user found a trail if they gain the check, while failure means they did not. If user fails this initial skill check, they simply cannot find that particular trail. After finding a trail, further checks may be necessary depending on the situation. Darkness, falling rain/snow, a dust storm, moving from one terrain to another (such as from sand to rock), one trail splitting into 2 or crossing water are examples why a user might need another Tracking check. Look in Task Skills thread found in the Skills and Traits Index for more information. Each time learned user gets 5 die roll to increase the skill.
Limit: ---
Sekondo Nen (Second Sense)
Rank: ["D", "C", "B", "A", "S"]
Skill: TaiJutsu
Effect: The brawler depending on the rank of the technique the user is capable of reacting through subconscious mind against attacks against the user in different manners such as being flanked, and from behind. This technique makes the brawler incapable of being surprise attacked.
Special: ---
Drawback: The user may only learn this technique by the class that they are. This means that in order to learn the "C" Rank version they must be "C" Class, if they wish to learn the "B" Rank version they must be "B" Class.
Description: A technique where the subconscious mind, where the subconscious body reacts just as they are attacked while flanked or while their back is turn. The body reacts in such a way to where they are capable of withstanding so much. This technique makes it where the Brawler is incapable of being surprised attacked, a sudden second sense kicks in as their body screams out to them yelling at them telling them to move, duck, dodge or anything else within that manner. If an opponent comes to a Brawler at a bar, and attacks with a sword, or a club, the brawler gains the urge to dodge to the left, or to the right, where they are capable of reacting before the action is completed. This works on whenever they are being attacked. This technique however has a major flaw. The user is capable of dodging only whenever the opponent's class is equal or lower to that of the rank of the technique they know. This means that a "D" Class user that knows this technique can not use this against an opponent that is "C" Class or higher.
Limit: Must be a Brawler
