ALDOUS BLACK MALE 250LBS 8' 23 YEARS LAWFUL, EVIL FROM YUKI NO KUNI NON TAIJUTSU(S), kentoushi CLAN(S), kamyuja, soulcaster NINJUTSU(NS), fuuton MISC, |
PERSONALITY
Aldous Black is an individual quite obsessed with making the world a better place. It's not that the world is all that terrible in the first place. Aldous merely believes whole-heartedly that the world needs to ruthlessly be maintained of its justice. His disposition is grim, and most of the time maintains a dishonest grin. While he tends to maintain his ruthless demeanor at all times, Aldous has been known to show restraint at times. If presented with the decision of whether or not to execute a person, generally he will allow them to live.
However, Aldous' convictions lead him to put his entire family to death because he believed them to be foolish. He is not against killing innocents in order to preserve his justice. However, his sense of justice is warped. He believes that justice prevails, regardless of the victor, because the victor becomes justice. Aldous cares little for good or evil. While his actions tend to be evil, he only intends to reach the top of the world.
You may be wondering, as a Kamyuja, what is Aldous' disorder? Aldous has a Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD). Aldous' incredibly immoral sense of justice stems entirely from his narcissistic tendencies. He subconsciously believes himself, and his moral code to be absolutely perfect in every way. Because of this, persons that question his beliefs or decisions will flip his switch.
While typically people diagnosed with NPD show exaggerated feelings of self-importance, Aldous does not share that symptom. Instead, he will scrutinize the people around him. If they do not live to the standard that Aldous holds himself to, he will attempt to correct them. Or kill them, whichever seems to be the least hassle in the long run.
Now obviously, this sort of attitude would cause problems for a child... And it has. Aldous has dealt with several years of coping with upsetting superiors and especially his fellow peers. His initial solution to this problem was that he needed to become stronger, eventually coming to the realization that killing or defeating is not always the answer.
In order to cope with his frustration with people not believing in the better good of humanity, Aldous has recognized that sometimes lying is better. So, Aldous smiles. Even when he is genuinely upset at a situation, he continues to smile and laugh ridiculously. Only dropping his grin for a small moment in the most distressing of conditions.
As for appearance, Aldous is about as alpine as he is large. The most particularly outstanding feature of his aspect though is his height. Standing at a height over seven feet; he towers over the average person his age, or any age for that matter. He is also very muscular, but not overly so, and manages to be especially imposing when he needs to be. Aldous, being the sort of individual who prefers to remain out of the spotlight, slouches his posture several inches so as to not appear so taller than his allies.
For as long as he can remember, Aldous has had very average, very straight black hair. There is no volume to his hair, and it drapes itself stubbornly near the small of his back. His hair is pushed neatly aside so that it doesn't block his vision, and frames his light olive complexion in a manner almost similar to a horror movie with a wet, dark-haired antagonist. A frightening countenance which is only enhanced further by the frightening visage provided by naturally red eyes, and black sclerae.
His face is much of the time adorned by a smartly grinning expression. He has found harboring a grimace to be almost repulsive, even while looking in a mirror at himself. The graceful, but almost creepy features of his face host a pair of the most gorgeous red eyes, most often hidden behind squinting or closed eyelids. His eyes only seem to open to show emotion. If he's shocked, or placing emphasis on what he's saying, his eyes will open partially, or sometimes all the way.
When Aldous activates the powers of his bloodlimit, his eyes turn an alluring shade of violet. This of course, is an indication of the level of his chaos ability. When he activates the second stage of his chaos, his eyes turn to the color of flame. A mixture or orange, red and yellow that seems to move around within his large iris'. Then finally, for the third stage of his chaos, his eyes lose all color, turning exclusively white.
As for his clothing, Aldous wears a pair of devastatingly bright, skinny red denim jeans, and a hood. The hood has fancy tassels, but aside from that he doesn't wear anything else. His selection of clothing doesn't leave much to a witness as far as imagination goes, but that's not something he finds any sort of regard for.
Far out in the mostly uncharted backwoods of the very white, very cold Land of Snow lies an especially large, especially black, misplaced manor.
The royal Black family that once inhabited this mansion migrated from some place somewhere. But they have, or rather had a problem, and that problem was this: most of the people living in it were unhappy for decidedly much of the time. Solutions had been suggested and tested, but most of these concerned the thoughts and urges of currency and trinkets.
Many generations were increasingly of the opinion that moving to the Land of Snow was a dreadful mistake. A few even said that the move before that had been a poor decision, but in all actuality there weren't any moves previous to this one. Those are the generations of the Black family that we choose to not remember.
And then, one generation, or actually one son of a certain generation had managed to acquire all the riches the family had desired. No one is totally certain of this aquisition, even criminal acts were considered, but those rumors were surely hushed as they arose. A very evil and greedy man by all rights, was said to have at some point held a complete monopoly over the entire Land of Snow.
And then one frightful Monday evening, nearing midway through his life, he was murdered.
This is not his story.
But it is the story of his son.
By any means it was not a conventional birth. It seemed to those present that all of the Land of Snow had managed to attend. The birth of royalty, albeit self-proclaimed royalty, was an important affair for a country full of boonies and eskimos.
The parturition was a success. However, just moments after the birth of young Aldous, the mother exhaled her very last breath, dropping a damper on the whole occasion along with it.
To describe the formative days of Aldous' childhood in one word is a very difficult task. Individuals scribing the parenting-or in this case-lack of parenting have recounted it as 'awkward'. Other, more argumentative persons have exclaimed that his childhood was in one word 'miserable'. Then even more disputatious still, the homeless fellow that declares the cobblestones outside of the Black manor gate his home has proclaimed that his childhood was nothing short of 'miserablward'; which is not in fact a word. Cockeyed Eddy has been forcefully vacated from the premesis upon multiple instances.
From the moment of his birth, nothing short of perfection was expected from Aldous. Not from politicians or strangers down the street, but his own father. The perhaps crime-lord father that was mentioned previously raised his under the presumption that he would be exemplary in every single way.
Unfortunately for him, Aldous did not meet those expectations. That is not to say that he did not make his very best attempt at being perfect, it just wasn't enough. When he excelled in his tutored subjects, he did not excel enough. When his father was told that he had the talent to be the very best gymnast the world had ever seen, it was not sufficient.
Even the Kage of the Hidden Snow Village informed him of the exceptional strength and endurance he showed at such a young age. But again, it was not adequate to satiate his lust for perfection.
Preceding his thirteenth birthday, Aldous' father had ceased celebrating his birthday. A thoroughly disappointed man had concluded all contact, as he had more important matters to attend to. The garden that Aldous had taken a liking to was removed, and he was to be locked in his bedroom.
The next morning, every single member of the Black family had been found butchered. The only supposed witness, Cockeyed Eddy has told the tale of blood and violet eyes. That being the very last time Eddy was considered a functioning member of society.
