Somewhere near the vertical midpoint of the Mountain of Blessing was a magnificent cliff. A peninsula against the sky instead of the sea. It was like the sharp edge of a sturdy plateau was trying to detach itself from the mountainside.
The furthest edge of the cliff almost begged for a mandrill to stand upon it, maybe while holding the cub of an apex predator.
Several days after the fall of the first two keypoints, the energy of the mountain reached the cliff.
The bottom end of the cliff began to crack, and white light poured out from the openings.
Suddenly, there was an explosion, causing rubble to fly far off into the distance.
The very top of the ledge still persisted, somehow. What once was a cliff now resembled a slab of earth stabbed into the side of the mountain. Beneath it was a hundred meter long and fifty meter wide enclosure of shadows.
From the darkness, there came the sound of clattering wood.
A puppet of bronzewood, of a titanic size, crawled out into the daylight. Its anatomy resembled human features, but they were not arranged as they should.
Eight elongated arms pulled out the serpent length torso. The puppet's face, while human, was shaped with the jaws of a cobra.
The puppet's feet followed diligently behind the arms, and were arranged at the side of the body.
A snake, or perhaps a centipede.
Human, but inhuman.
At the back of the monstrous puppet was a pair of fluffy angle wings, folded neatly inward. Unfitting, since there was nothing angelic about the construct. At a glance:
