The address leads to Victorian Manor trapped somewhere between being inviting and terrifying. Are the creepy gargoyles permanent fixtures, or just decorations? Explore the grounds and become encased with the eerie history of the desolate building. Just try to make it out in one piece!

Masquerade parties have always been so dreary, yet the lure of one in the night for Samhain was far too alluring to pass up. There was also the matter of keeping the thrall happy, and she seemed to enjoy such things. Tonight I wore a fine coat of black silk, open with my white shirt ruffled, leaving the open coat to seem proper and a mask of black and silver was set upon the top half of my face. Black slacks and dress shoes also adorned my form and I was to be seen by all present at the event in such a way with my thrall at my side.

My lovely Lilith walked in at my side we pushed through the main doors and passed through the hall. It was a decent hall, one could tell the building's prominence by the structure, the age of the wood and design of the building, it was a few hundred years old and once held good stock. I looked to the various servants and took two flutes of champagne, one of which was handed to Lilith. "Where shall we make our first stop of the night, my one and only?"

[/a] just covered my breasts, the white fabric hugging tightly against them and swooping low in the back. Maroon ribbons laced up both sides of the dress, allowing flashes of white to peek innocently from beneath. A minimalist flower design touches the bodice before reaching down to the skirt. Here it blossomed. Pure white satin was dotted with the occasional tasteful satin rose. The skirt continued down to just below my knees, showing my rather attractive legs.

My mask was a work of art. Thin beaten gold appeared in pink on the majority of it. Pearls traced up from the inner corners of the eyes, trailing over the top and extending to the edges of the mask. Curling golden designs were reminiscent of plants. To top it off in the center, just between my eyes was a perfect diamond. With Mat at my side we made a perfectly unforgettable pair. At the main doors I presented our invitation and was greeted with a bow.

We were allowed unquestioned entrance to the property now. At his question my head cocked to the side as I took in the startling property. Hopefully the others who arrived would be of the same echelon though I had my doubts. "I hardly know where to begin." Was my demure admittance. "Perhaps the solarium?" I questioned, seeing that it was connected to some type of greenhouse. It seemed as intriguing a place to start as any.[/ul][/font]

Halloween Party
"Now, why was I of all people invited...?"

	Toge Ikebana of Kusagakure was not one to attend parties or festivities under normal circumstances. However, he wasn't here under normal circumstances. His brother, Kenta, had received the invitation, and not wanting it to go to waste, passed it onto his younger brother. Of course, if it wasn't for his vanishing act three years ago, he wouldn't have accepted this request (or so he had hoped, at least). And so, the young Ikebana master found himself present at the event. His usually messy brown hair had been neatly groomed; slicked back with a pony tail to take care of the excess hair. Although he stood at merely eight inches past five feet, he was still of good height, and still had room to grow, although not by too much he knew.
Although Toge was admittedly not one for formal events, he certainly was capable of dressing the part. A silver dress jacket decorated with a regal design. Below that, he sported a flawless long sleeved white dress shirt, complete with a white stock tie. His slacks were dark enough to make even the night itself envious, and he completed this look with a simple, yet elegant pair of black dress shoes. His mask, however, was truly the most notable thing on his person. Choosing a half mask for this event, it seemed as though it could blend in with the shadows if there were any, but at the same time, it gave off a comforting glow credited to the silver trim and decor. Upon arriving, he paid no mind to the exterior of the home, save for the breathtaking garden that led into the front doors. The gargoyles were of no threat, taking note of them (after all, they were just masterfully created rock sculptures) before he entered the home. Once in, even Toge was swept up in the absolute gorgeous interior. Each element of the home was done to maximize all of the home's "sweet spots". If there was anything bad about it, it was impossible to take note of. Off in the distance, Toge heard the sound of people about, and so he made his way toward the location. He might as well make the most of it, after all. Toge however didn't feel the need to approach the two; not while they were already engaging in conversation, and as such, he simply took a look around the room with admiration.

There was no denying the Haruma twins their chance to dazzle and, be utterly spontaneous. Although most Halloween parties that they go to are not as regal as this one they still decided to dress up of it in their way. Due to Junko’s constant begging they both dressed up as cats beyond Fumiko’s expenses. Luckily Junko also made sure the costumes weren’t as:...provocative as most of the cat costumes you notice nowadays. The only detail she left out was the masks. How in the world does someone forget to get masks for a masquerade party? Nobody knows for Junko’s brain always goes haywire on Halloween anyway. As for the costumes themselves they were mixed with the themes of overwhelming cuteness, and straight smexiness overall. Junko took most of the cute side by storm since as soon as she put the damn thing on she started acting like a catgirl herself. Fumiko took the smexy side by accident because her personality just seemed to shine through either way. So what exactly is the attire designed like to make them this way? Well let me tell you.

Junko’s costume (right) is sort of pieced together differently than her sister’s (right). Junko’s costume has a small and firm top that acts like a tank top style of attire with a tiny black neck ribbon tied to its respective place. The sleeves actually don’t start at the shoulders in fact they are slightly below that and are a little more expanded. The top is pure white and,doesn’t really do a good job in keeping Junko’s breasts from being revealed by those who chose to gaze upon her. The abdominal part is very slim fitting and, is actually a mix of grey and white together with black string ties keeping it together. The bottom attire is a simple small black skirt with a tiny white lace to outline it overall. To compliment that it also came with pure black stocking and, comfortable black shoes to match. As for the cat accessories Junko’s cat ears are a dark brown color that simply pop out of her hair. The tail is slightly bushy at the tip but, the same color.


Now as for Fumiko’s costume that is an entirely different story. She was confused as to why Junko picke this out for her in the first place but, she had no choice but to use it. Fumiko’s costume mostly consisted of a dark purple dress that has an unnecessary diamond shaped gap around the chest area in her opinion. Although it does have a sort of dark presence by the tears on the bottom of the dress. The abdominal area is all wrapped up for some odd reason too. However the weirdness all comes flowing back by the large black neck choker that for some reason comes with a long chain with it. Just like Junko’s costume Fumiko’s comes with violet colored leggings that are also ripped at the top a little. The cat ears and tail are a simple black color. As for shoes Fumiko decided to go with some nice black heel boots that end just below her knees. They are strapped by a shiny silver buckle around the curves of the feet.

Now you know what they look like. By the time the twins reached the party building Junko was already beginning to get all excited over nothing. She practically stormed through the door leaving her sister Fumiko to plain walk in after. The build was way beyond fancy it was absolutely spectacular It seems that three other people were already here before them which now made five. All the servants were making sure everything was as close to perfect as they could get a few beginning to walk towards the twins to see if they needed anything. Fumiko instantly had to try to make sure her sister would at least try to behave which only earned her a playfully hard tug by her chain from Junko in return. Fumiko decided that the option of containing her sister would be futile so she choose to stay by her side for only a little while since she would be held accountable for any trouble her sister causes anyway. The funny thing is Junko is the one who is stronger out of the two girls too. Oh let the fun begin.

The night young, an exceeding elegant manner of what it did to pertain while motioning and making way into this unknown and yet fantastic place. Already he had his costume completely in bodily form, readily available for himself upon his entry. Dressed in a white kimono of a similar shrine worker descent, he had an addition to it for nine tails. These nine tails moving fluidly, actively as realistic as he could make them while cutting his facial hair and even dying his hair silver to make the day that much better. Cut short for the occasion, he made ease to having the lithe body already able for him upon entry into this place. It was without knowledge of who else partook in these events but inevitably he would hope to speak and get to know people all the same while dressed in his kitsune cosplay.

He found way to enter in through the kitchen, the smell of sweet pastries and delicious foods fueling his drive. It was then he witnessed the elegant spread of other food assortments before smiling to himself, taking a small springroll while moving swiftly in towards the hall way where he walked downwards, twirling the springroll around in his hand like it were an apple. The delicious smell of cinnamon filling his nostrils while a smile spread from cheek to cheek. It was time to figure out just what was going to be good about this party while he did what fun there would be.

lothed slightly different than usual, Gosei had opted for something less casual. His hair had been tied into a loose ponytail at the base of his skill, letting it hang loose as he normally did would have looked too tacky. A tie had never suited him, too restrictive. Thus, he wore his white dress shirt with the first few buttons open. Over that he had donned a green and white tartan waistcoat. The rest of his suit, pants and jacket, was impeccably white. Under all of it, brown loafers as black would have set way too much contrast. A pink pocket square would finish the ensemble. In line with the theme he had hidden his visage behind a finely crafted green mask with gold leaf shaped plating at the sides. This would obscure the top half of his face, as per the rules of a masquerade.

He was not supposed to be alone either, yet the other did not seem to have arrived yet. No matter, she would probably be soon be here. Seizing a glass of champagne from a passing waiter he would reflect a bit on what he had seen and saw. The façade of the building had not been very inviting for starters. Although the Godaime had never been the one to be deterred by appearances, it did put down the atmosphere somewhat. Inside this style of decorating continued, what a downer. Inside the place had started to fill up. There was a couple in the solarium, a young man in silver observing the room from behind his mask, a pair of young girls of which one was tugging a chain around the neck of the other(!?) and a person with tails. The couple seemed too indulged with themselves, the two girls seemed to be doing something that the Kazeraikou did not want to be a part of and tail monster seemed occupied with smelling the air. Thus, remained the man in silver. Approaching him Gosei tried to start a conversation. "This is not quite the location I would have picked for a happy gathering, you?"

Kijo no Shimo cried for three straight days when she learned she wasn't a frog!

Nieve had definitely not gone to the right party. Or perhaps she had misunderstood the invitation? The usually blue haired kunoichi had dressed into a mascot costume, after all, costume parties were supposed to be about changing one's whole appearance for fun and sweets. Instead all those assembled seemed to have only worn a subtle mask and nice dressy clothing. The scientist had decided to go all out. ThE mascot was hard to comprehend. Was it a cat? Was it a frog? IT WAS BOTH! Nieve was dressed as Frosche, a bipedal cat that dressed up as a frog! The large head of the mascot had massive eyes that shun in the lights of the party.

Nieve walked towards one of the nearby tables. Reaching out she grabbed one of the glasses of champagne. Sliding her immense spherical head above her, she took a sip from the bubbly liquid. The Chuunin's long azure locks were stuck to her face, it was obvious she was quite hot beneath the costume that covered all of her body. Man was it hot in here!

She looked around before sliding the cat-frog's head back down. She was supposed to meet the perfectly symmetrical silver-haired Gosei.

"I couldn't have said it better myself."

	Toge was not exactly the most social of individuals, even now. He still held onto a great distrust of others, and this distrust was even more present now that he was in a home that was a hosting a party filled with people he didn't know, and, more than likely were all from different villages. Even worse, even if there were to be people he might have been familiar with, the only way he would ever know is if he were to talk to them, or they to him. Of course, in this particular circumstance, people would need to come to him. It might have sounded a bit haughty, but the fact was he was in a home littered with people he didn't know, and their identities were concealed. For all he knew, he could have ended up in a trap of some sort.
Yet, despite that, when the figure with the gold and green mask came up to him, Toge couldn't help but feel surprised. He'd been taking a seat on a chair to simply observe others. He didn't exactly expect anybody to speak to him. Looking up to the figure, he nodded. If there was to be conversation, he might as well indulge the gentleman. "My thoughts exactly," Toge said. "What exactly is the point of being here, anyways?" It's not like the kid is an avid party-goer, after all.

Junko and Fumiko were both getting slightly impatient with the current atmosphere in this room. Then again this building was filled with people they most likely don't know and, or won't recognize. Either way they were concerned over who was the host of this party anyway. Most importantly were is all the music, where is the DJ? Is there even a DJ to show up?

Well in a situation like this the option left for them was to just explore they area. The good news is Fumiko won't have to deal with Junko's constant chain tugging for a while. If the good news continues Junko might even find something to occupy herself with and, leave Fumiko alone completely. If that happens this will give Fumiko the chance to either bail and, get a better costume of her own or just abandon the chain itself for measure.

So with that plan decided Fumiko decided to walk over to table of food and drinks to see if they had anything. Junko in the meantime seemed to have lost her mind again once she noticed the pair dressed as a Cat-frog or frog-cat or even an Anthro version of both all together. She simply gasped and looked all amazed at the oddness of it all. Hearing such a thing Fumiko face palmed herself while shaking her head in annoyment with a tic mark bulging on her forehead.

To make matters worse afterwards Junko decided to steal a dish of snacks for one of the servants and, then hide herself on a high up area that he could reach her from. Some of the other servant immediately tried to help but, they soon became effortless once the humor of it all began to sink in because Junko was pretending to claw the first servant like a real cat every time he tried to grab the dish.

In return Fumiko just took a seat in a nice warm red chair to relax for once then crossed her legs soon after. To help one of the many free servants that were taking this matter by remaining calm walked over to Fumiko and, gave her a glass of apple cider, winked playfully, then walked off to carry on other deeds. Eventually the other servants managed to get Junko down and, decided to leave her off with a slight warning since she was mostly acting in character anyway. By this time Junko finally calmed down a little by walking over to Fumiko then nuzzled up next to her as if to say "I'm sorry" without any real words of course.

With a nod at my thrall's words I lead the lovely young creature into solarium where I took a sip of the flute I had taken from the servant. It was all I could do to swallow the bubbly liquid and not spit it out in disgust. With eyes flashing an illuminated silver for a brief instant I set the alcohol down on a ledge. Never before had I tasted so vile a concoction that claimed to be the sparkling wine, Champagne. I would be sure halt any rise of the flute to my companion's lips with a gesture and glance lest she consume that vile concoction as well.

Pathetic mortal being that she was, at least this one was a being of some class who would be able to appreciate true champagne. "Such a place we have been cursed to be. Simple commoners invited to a prestigious manor as this. Dishwater being passed off as quality champagne. They belittle Samhain and this manor with their mockeries."
