Shunshin no Jutsu - Oshi (Body Flicker Technique - Push)
Rank: "C"
Skill: NinJutsu/TaiJutsu
Effect: A Jutsu that allows a user to rush forward in almost instantaneous speed. Used to draw the user close to the opponent.
Special: ---
Drawback: May use 3 times a day. May perform 1 more each time learned. Passing amount renders the user's legs immobile due to severe pain. Unable to perform again unless gained medical treatment. Must move through an opening. Unable to maneuver around obstructing objects. Can't attack while performing any Shunshin or Variation.
Description: User is able to move forward in a straight line along the ground in almost instantaneous untraceable speed while temporarily masking the user's movements within 10 meters. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by focusing the user's chi along the ankles and foot. User mostly moves just with their ankles and feet. Jutsu takes up no movements. User may only use this Jutsu half of the movements may allow in a single round while rounding down. Example: User has 5 movements, user is able to perform Jutsu 2 times per round.
Limit: Universal NinJutsu or Universal TaiJutsu.

Chased away from another city. Running at top speed, trying to push beyond the limits. Shunshin was an option, but would not improve through use alone. No. The best way was to try to achieve similar speed without it, at least in short bursts. This would allow it to be used more often, for certain. I'm lightly armed, with only a shamshir at my hip and a small round shield mounted to my right forearm. Four shuriken and eight tracer needles mark the extent of my weaponry. The rest was survival gear. Flashlight, compass, goggles with anti-flash lenses and variable vision settings, a tracking device to chase down the tracers.
The forests of Fang are familiar to me at least, I know how to navigate without tripping among the roots. Even at high speeds. Before, though only briefly, I left. Had to get away. Far away from Father. But familiarity is best when your life consists of ducking between civilization and wilderness, unable to stay in either for too long. I came back, skirting the edge between habitats until I was forgotten. Then I could live properly for a little while, until this. Always this. I had to move faster. Go somewhere else. Take a ship. A big ship, with room to run. That would be nice.
I knew a port town on the north coast. That would be a good place to start. And so I ran. I was much more powerful than when I had first surfaced, so I could move unthreatened by the local beasts. They knew me now. Knew the spirits which haunt me. Even now, they float apace with me, staring as if in mockery. I would have been clumsy, back then. Their influence. They tripped me, before I could see them. Before the conflict and strife in my heart rendered me immune to their influence. My speed was barely visible, but not as fast as the more physically fit individuals at my level.
Securing passage was simple, I merely ran across the water's surface after the vessel set sail before walking right up the side. Nobody saw. Ticket checks en route were rare. It wasn't until I swallowed that I realized I had swiped a loaf of bread from somewhere and began snacking absentmindedly. Oh dear. The spirits laugh at me. At least I think they do. It's difficult to discern any emotion in their expressionless faces. Things begin going poorly for the other passengers quickly. They had missed this in flight, the chance to make mischief nobody wanted. Who knew how long this tub might last before springing a leak and sinking?
