Damp Bank of Amegakure no Sato

Within Amegakure's Gold district is one of its most prestigious banks, the Damp Bank. Dealing mostly with the richest of business and the government itself, the bank does not traditionally deal with the affairs of the regular folk. Most civilians go to the other banks of the district instead. Its immense rustic doors were torn apart and had fallen inside, lining the ground. Standing before the broken down doors were six assembled AnBu, their ivory masks contrasting their dark cloaks, all of their hoods pulled up, shielding them from the eternal rain.

They would be the ones allowing all people in and out of the bank.

The rain had gone from a mere drizzle to a downpour, battering against the roofs of buildings, assaulting the citizens out on the streets and creating pool-like puddles in the ground below. Just outside of the Amekage Tower was a puddle large enough to hold four small children. The sky scraper – like tower loomed overhead, providing no shelter for anyone who stood outside of it. It was simply bare right up to the two double doors.

Stepping out into the assaulting rain, I turn sharply to the right and head directly toward where the bank was. The weird thing since buying a secondary residence here in Amegakure, the buildings all have an old historic castle appearance. My secondary home wasn’t tower worthy, but it did resemble some of the old ages, yet my primary residence outside of the village was nothing like the buildings inside.

Dressed in my baggy black track pants, I move swiftly toward the bank upon feet cladded in black ninja sandals. The bagginess of my pants weighted down against my legs due to how wet I was. The butt bag I had strapped to my right side carried ten kunai knives, seven fragmentation grenades, and nine blood-clot pills, bounced softly as I moved through the citizens whom appeared to not be bothered by the rain at all.

Despite my scant appearance, my muscular body kept me warm. The bandage – like top I wore was only several layers of bandage which covered only my breasts, revealing my stomach, collar and shoulders. Anyone might think I was in the wrong village dressed as if it were summer, but the cold never bothered me at all. My long fiery red hair was pulled back into a braid which was secured at the base of my neck, trailing down my mid-back before falling against my lower back just above my bottom. The thick braid was secured with a black hair tie.

Yoko, my black timber wolf kept pace with me easily, darting around people perhaps more efficiently than I was. His frame weaved around people while his gaze remained fixed upon the building we were nearing. Already I could see the large metallic doors laying on the ground just inside where six AnBU stood guard, warding off people who strayed near the building. I rearrange my headband which was wrapped around my left bicep so show the AnBU that I meant business.

Should one move to stop me in my attempts at entering the bank, I would stop on the top step and fold my arms. “My name is Jasmine, I have been assigned to a mission involving the bank alongside two other shinobi who are currently on their way now.” I say, my voice as firm as my hard stare. I meant business and my body posture clearly stated that I was not here to waste any time.

[Hitora Ryunobu (Uchiha)]

After having gone to his home to pick up his bag of items, Hitora had replaced his empty utility belt with said butt bag. The rain of course was being its usual annoying self. But Hitora knew that he could do nothing to stop it, it was the damn geographic area of the village that gave it this rainy disposition and its name. The Village Hidden in the Rain, never had Hitora thought that the name matched more than today, unable to see more than a meter or two in front of himself.

Inside the buttbag that was now secured behind him at his waist were a single four inch flashlight, sixteen glowsticks, fifty-seven zipties, his multi-tool, fifty-seven senbon, two knives, sixteen caltrops and six kunai. On his right hip was his two metal clubs and around his neck attached to his ear via a wire and ear piece was his wireless radio. Some might say that the young man clad in his black skin tight leather outfit that encompassed him from neck down. Across his chest was a blue bird like symbol that he always had on. Adorrned on his feet were black combat boots that almost seamlessly matched his pants to look like one continuous item except if you looked at them from the right angle you’d notice that they were slightly not in synch with the pants. On his hands he wore leather gloves that seamlessly connected to the sleeves of his outfit.

In his right hand was the small scroll handed to Hitora by Lord Hagane, noticing Jasmine was already there the young man affixed the forehead protector with the land of rain emblem to his forehead, and approached the group of ANBU guards and said “The last member of our group will have silver hair and lavender eyes, I have never seen anyone more recognizable than he.” Hitora then turned to Jasmine and nodded his head quickly in her direction then towards the bank.

Hitora then began to walk towards the doors of the bank, but not before stopping and kneeling down next to one of the two. Had the two doors been upright the door he was next to would have been on the left of the building, running a hand over it slowly looking at it as closely as he could to try and figure out what happened to the door.

Yakou was quick in his pursuit of Jasmine – choosing to take the rooftops as opposed to the busy street. He found the rain to be quite bothersome, since it made following from afar a bit difficult, but her bright red hair served as quite the bread trail. He ran straight to the Damp Bank, wearing the same purple yukata, it’s collar sitting snug around his neck while the rain starting to get his clothing quite wet. His Wakazashi stayed secured on his waist along with his butt bag, containing 4 knives, 6 kunai, and 150 hira-shuriken. His silver hair was drenched thanks to the rain, sticking to his face as he leapt from building to building. ‘It truly is odd,’ he thought to himself as he made his way to the large building they were nearing.

‘It would seem that the village is truly in a troubled state, if genin are the ones needed to solve such issues . . .‘ While trying to make sense of the situation, he stopped at a building just before the bank, watching as Jasmine made her way to the front entrance. The first thing he saw were the missing doors, it seemed like they were torn off, maybe by some explosive. Whatever it could’ve been, Yakou knew he couldn’t come to any conclusions from afar, so he made his way down the building, leaping to the streets below while walking towards Jasmine. ‘I just hope I can be of some help. I need to step up, be the one the village can depend on. . .’

His faced remained rather stoic as he tried to make sense of the damage while making his way down, eyes darting back and forth between the AnBu who stood amongst the crime scene. Whilst he was doing this, he noticed that Hitora had also made it, standing beside Jasmine. He was explaining Yakou’s appearance to the guards, in quite a unique manner. ‘Recognizable?’ He repeated in his head, wondering whether this was a good or bad thing, though he dismissed the thought, simply moving up beside the two and gazing at the AnBu they were talking to.

“I’m the final member. Yakou Hasegawa,” He confirmed to the AnBu member before turning to look at the door along with Hitora. “What do you think of this?” Yakou questioned outloud, looking to Hitora once he knelt down to start examining the door. His arms folded over one another while taking another a gander at it himself, trying to make sense of it all. “I can’t imagine what kind of force it took to remove these doors from their hinges. . .” His gaze became fixated on Jasmine as he continued. “Maybe. . . If we can figure out how they did it, we could get a clue on who might’ve been the ones capable of this.” He spoke the obvious, but he never was apart of something with a group, so he wanted to make sure they were all on the same page.

The Anbu guards folding into position, leaving a thin corridor for Jasmine, Hitora and Yakou to step forward toward the doors of the bank. Once the three had progressed to the steps, the six individuals fanned out once more, blocking entry to anyone who wanted to enter. Upon close inspection of the broken door, Hitora would notice quite easily that it had been blasted open with an immense concussive blast, both doors set ajar by a force that had come from the outside. The doors had been hit with immense strength, they were bent toward the side and it almost looked like an immense fist had made the deformation of the door, but surely that was impossible. There was not much more that could be gathered from the fallen doors.

If the threesome would decide to enter the Damp Bank, they would be greeted with a familiar vision. And for that day, a third member of council! Ringo, Shiru would not be so easily unnoticed, after all she had stood by Mitsukai and all other members of council during the inauguration. She also headed the education system of Amegakure no Sato, not only that, she was also headmistress of the academy. The three of them knew this woman well. Per usual, a stern expression contorted her face. Her short hair was as always kept perfectly and her body was cloaked in robes of the finest fabrics. Multiple scrolls lined her waist as well.

"Ah, yes, it just had to be three Genin." Shiru began as she gently rubbed the corner of her eyes as she waited for the three to assemble before her. "Come along as I explain to you the situation." She said. A lot had been left open, the answers would only be given once the young shinobi had made it to the bank. These three genin would be given some of Amegakure's deepest secrets.

Once Yakou and Hitora arrived on scene, the AnBU created a small gap in their line of defence to allow us to proceed into the bank. I follow closely behind Hitora, allowing him to lead the way while Yakou paused to stand beside Hitora. While the two men worked on figuring out how the doors were knocked down, Yoko and I moved further into the building to begin our attempts at tracking the culprits behind the break in.

With his nose firmly pressed to the floor, if allowed Yoko would venture in four meters, moving around in a large arc in his attempt at picking up on a scent. Meanwhile, I knell down to the ground in my attempt at picking up any kind of tracks or evidence of the perpetrator(s) marks should they have left any during their hasty break in. I move at least two meters in, scanning the area thoroughly first starting with the ground before scouring the walls with a keen eye.

“So what happened to the doors, Tori?” I ask, my voice firm. However at the sound of a newcomer approaching the scene, Yoko raised his head to see a familiar face approaching us. It was the Academy Headmistress wielding her usual scrolls and the prim and proper appearance of a tutor. “Headmistress, how nice to see you again.” I say softly in greeting, followed by a bow. Her greeting wasn’t as nice as mine, but if I remembered correctly, the woman never really was nice.

But as she beckoned us forward, I braced myself alongside Yoko (unless either of us found anything in our search) and await for the synopsis.

[Hitora Ryunobu (Uchiha)]

As he searched the door Hitora mentally noted how badly damaged it was, it seems that there was someone strong enough to punch the door down however without the use of chakra and some kind of Jutsu that would be nigh impossible for a normal human being to do. The lack of any kind of explosive residue or charring ruled out the possibility of an explosive item or Jutsu in and of itself. So Hitora concluded that in the group, or perhaps this one person was behind it all, had a Taijutsu user in their midst.

Hitora then slowly stood as Jasmine asked what happened to the door, letting his left eye drift into her direction and further into the bank he began to speak “It seems that someone with a ridiculous amount of strength, likely chakra enhanced somehow, punched the door in.” If it weren’t for the existence of chakra in this world the mere thought of a single person being capable of punching a door like that in was unimaginable but the fact that they lived in a world with chakra meant that it was possible.

Then he noticed a woman wearing some of the finest silks in the village, perhaps the world, it was the apparent headmistress of villages shinobi academy. Hitora never really met her as he went to and graduated from the academy in Konoha however in his time since fleeing there after the Uchiha massacre he made sure that he knew as many people as he would have likely known as if he’d grown up in the village.

With a slight bow to the elder Hitora began to listen as she spoke, quickly falling into step behind the woman should she have chosen to walk and talk or if she chose to stand still in the midst of the room, Hitora would listen to whatever she had to say. Regardless his eyes would be constantly scanning the area looking for any sign of issue, fight or anything really that could lead them to the culprits behind the attack on the Damp Bank.

[Yakou]

The others had already begun using talents Yakou lacked in trying to pick up clues as to what happened. Meanwhile, the genin simply stood beside them, looking around the area itself. The bank definitely was in the upper echelon of buildings within the village, so the question of what was stolen was begging to be asked in Yakou’s mind. But it seemed that Hitora at least found out what might’ve been the cause of the broken door.

Before he even had a chance to chime in, a woman who seemed to be forever scowling at the world walked in. If he remembered correctly, he met her once before at the academy – the headmistress! Both of his fellow shinobi bowed before her and Yakou awkwardly followed suit, formalities were quite an odd spectacle to him, but he knew he should show his respect.

He remained silent as he and his comrades would presumably follow her wherever she led hopefully giving more information on what happened in the bank. However, he remained ever vigilant, in case any surprises were to occur. He knew that much, at least.

NPC: Ringo, Shiru

"Ah, proper etiquette, finally." Shiru said almost with an absent mind as she saw the three young shinobi bow before her. It was refreshing after the training she had tried to give to Mikutashi, the Amekage's latest project in odd recruitments. First the Jaishin Zealot and then an aloof non-ninja? None of it made sense, but now three true shinobi stood before her, two of which had trained at her very academy while the third she knew very little about. She made a mental note to study his file later. The different tracking abilities would not reveal much. Scents were plentiful in this area, especially that of perfume and cologne, important or at least wealthy individuals had been within these four walls earlier in the day, there was no doubt about that. It did not take a master observer to notice the chaos that surrounded the head mistress and three genin. The room had been positively ransacked. But in a very aimless way, Hitora would notice. There was as if there had truly been no method to the madness, just cause as much destruction as ever.

"You'll notice that nothing has been actually taken on this level. Files have been thrown around, glass has been broken, chairs and tables thrown." She enumerated the different elements that the genin could see themselves anyway. Immense pots of plants had been broken all over the place. "But nothing has been stolen here, there is little of value on this very level, it is where the clients are welcomed after all." Shiru explained.

For a moment she almost groaned but remained silent, she could not believe she was about to reveal one of Amegakure's bigger secrets to three lowly genin.

"You see...This bank does not deal in money." She said simply. She did not speak more for now.

What was the use of living life if there wasn't a bit of suspense?

[Lady Jaz]

Yoko raised his head and whimpered softly, signifying that he was picking up far too many scents to be able to latch on to anything worth tracking. I too, found nothing out of the ordinary. This place was used frequently by people of the upper class. I somewhat used to fit in that category, but I did my dealings elsewhere. “I’m kind of glad I changed my mind about investing here..” I murmur very quietly and smiled down at Yoko.

“We picked up nothing here.” I said, speaking obviously for an animal that spoke a language only I understood. But as Amegakure’s Academy Headmistress spoke, she stated the obvious and had begun speaking about the fact that this bank wasn’t only dealing with Ryo. “Well for one thing, if nothing was taken down here, why is this place a mess? And shouldn’t we be taking a look around the room that things were taken from, Headmistress?”

The tone I used carried a hint of agitation to it, but my expression remained completely serene. There was something this woman wasn’t telling us and I had a feeling that the others knew this as well. Judging from the words the headmistress used, she made it clear that her intentions in telling us more were not going to happen.

[Hitora Ryunobu (Uchiha)]

Hitora listened as the two women spoke, first as the academy headmistress spoke explaining what happened on this first level of the bank, though the way she said everything was in some sort of factual riddle if such a thing could even exist. Then he listened to Jasmine as she began to question the very reasoning as to why they were on this level if the items stolen were on a different one and why this one seemed ransacked.

Hitora was already beginning to figure it out to a degree. If the bank wasn’t really a bank where money was stored then it had to be one where secrets were. If the secrets were so great that they weren’t a known fact of the academy, at least as far as teaching them were, then they had to be village secrets that only some were privy to. That was when it clicked more so into place.

“If this bank doesn’t hold money then it is a front, a place where the village stores its top most secrets. This level was ransacked likely to make it look like a normal bank robbery and to make it look like the robbers had a hard time looking for what they wanted, or perhaps they needed to ransack it to find their way down a level or even only as a sign of strength to the employees of the bank. Am I right Headmistress?”

Hitora, eyes hidden behind the mask he wore, shot a glance at the headmistress now figuring that most of his own observations on this level would likely go to waste his own time and his own mental energies…

[Yakou]

OOC: Apologies for missing the IIC, holiday stuff had me traveling and such.

Yakou stood before the headmistress without his face visibly changing to show his confusion, with regards to the situation. The fact that nothing was stolen from this floor was quite odd though the other two clearly spoke out on their parts about the current situation. They weren’t specifically tasked to search this floor – but it was confusing as to why this place was a mess. The genin was siding with Hitora’s thesis on why the place was ransacked.

In regards to the facts on what was stolen being held a mystery still, it did make sense to feel a bit irritated when they were given the mission. However, the Kaguya was feeling split already on his first mission. He understood that leaving details out would only make it harder, but if it was delicate information, he lacked any reason to know more than what those above him in rank would tell him.

Thinking over the subject wouldn’t bring anything from it, as the decision fell on the miss before them, and Yakou was well aware of this fact. His hands folded over his chest as his purple orbs glanced over the room once more, before settling on the dog next to Jasmine. He was slightly envious of its advantageous abilities in conjunction with Jasmine, but even so he still impressed. It must’ve taken a lot of training to reap the benefits of such an animal.

Hitora himself wasn’t anything to scoff at as well, he was able to deduce things from such small clues that the man seemed to almost be able to get into the minds of those who did the crime themselves. Both of these people seemed able, and would hopefully continue to serve as impressive models for what all genin should be. Yakou balled up his fist while they remained around his chest, eager to final show his skills rather than being a useless bystander.

Patience was a virtue he had yet to master.

[Father 'Suke]

Of the three children that analyzed the situation of their own way, only two actually spoke but of such speaking it was definitely something the head mistress heard agitations in. Even if the tones were sublime, the words chosen were akin to knives put in a blender. She merely moved towards one of the back room doors, such rooms in a traditional bank would be a break room for the employees with the traditional “employee only” sign stapled to the door. With a brief analysis of this room, even a tadpole could know what happened. Not only were desks and tables thrown about, but the trap door leading to several steps was blown up from the inside, the concrete itself torn apart and laid about.

The stairs were still in tact and thereby with a walk down these narrow winding steps, almost as though a catacomb spiral that went on for hours. These steps continued on, and after what could feel to be two hours of just walking among steps alone was another decimated door way. This one again, blown outwards from the inside. The headmistress stepped to the side, a hand hosted to the side as a sign for the three genin to enter in and examine the hall. The hall itself would be small, room for about two people side by side to walk down with no leeway. Four rooms with glassed in walls and doors to box one in, a harsher analysis would reveal wooden stockade cuffs on the ground in each room that only held a bed with a cotton sheet and single pillow. A bucket to shit in and a sink to wash. One with more analytic skill may find more about these rooms than those lacking in said skills.

Notice: It is alright on the IIC this time. I'm bringing the missions back to life so IIC itself is being extended to 3 days after this post until the next round. Upon that time IIC will return to its original time of 2 days.

OOC: This is roughly among the first times I've actually GM'd something so please bear with me on this.

While Yakou remained silent, Hitora began speaking. Stating that this place was a building that stored village stories and secrets? I hardly believed that. If the village had secrets, wouldn’t you think that the Yukikage would have these secrets safe in her office? I shake my head at Hitora’s remark. “I don’t believe that is the case at all, Tora,” I say softly, folding my arms across my chest. The simple movement causing my large breasts to bounce slightly and sit above my arms.

“If this place stored secrets and stories that were extremely important to Amegakure, I would know for sure that the Amekage would have those stored in her office. Something too valuable needs to be protected and under the watchful eye of the Amekage herself so that nothing will come of them.” I say, turning my gaze from my lover toward the headmistress whom had appeared to say nothing on this matter. See, I knew she wasn’t going to spill anything. However, before anything more was done or said, my attention shifted toward the quiet member of the team.

“Yakou, what do you think this building was targeted for? I feel that everyone should get an opinion in about this first. Just so everyone is on the safe page.” I said, my tone somewhat curious. My gaze continued to study the lavender eyed shinobi. But rather than receiving a reply from the headmistress of the academy, she merely turned around and headed toward the back of this room. To the area where Yoko had not ventured into. I merely looked around the area, I had not moved that far into the building either.

I knew that the headmistress was short for words. She always was whenever she had taught my classmates and me. In fact, whenever I ventured to ask her a question on a matter, she normally didn’t reply. Or at least not immediately. However, once Yoko and I reached the door where the headmistress had stopped by, assuming the other two gentlemen would follow, I overlooked the “employee only” sign embedded into the door. Were we supposed to go inside this room?

Assuming no one else would open the door, I would gently twist the knob and push/pull the door open before stepping inside. This room was also a total mess. The desks and other tables were knocked over and paper littered the area. This place was ransacked just as the previous room had been. I frown. “Yoko, go scout the perimeter of this room and try and gather any scents that may be left behind please.” I said, my voice sounding more like a growling, barking wolf than that of a regular human being.

Yoko raised his black hair toward me and lowered it once before moving into the request I had just issued. But I didn’t need observation skills to see that a trapdoor within this room had been blown apart. But how it had been done would remain uncertain for my end. I turn to Hitora. “Baby, look at the trapdoor. It looks like it’s been blown up, but there isn’t any burn marks around the door itself. How strange..” I mused, pausing for a moment before slowly heading toward it.

I knew Hitora would move in to investigate it. But I decided to hang back with Yakou should he not move forward with Hitora. Perhaps the other genin had his own thing to discover and do now that we were in this new room?

Hitora, being the gentleman that he was, opened the door for the group and waited for the whole group to enter before he himself entered the room. Slowly moving through the wreckage of the room, Hitora would look carefully at everything and yet touch nothing. This was a crime scene and there might be important clues that could be overlooked or damaged if he touched too many things. Around the time he had noticed the trapdoor himself he would hear Jasmine’s call to him to check the damaged area itself out.

Crouching down near the trapdoor, he would definitely pay attention to every little thing that he could, trying to find whatever he could, wondering what could have possibly been a strong enough explosion to break this door yet leave no scorch marks. “It is very strange, this door has been blown apart, yet there are no scorch marks as far as I can tell, I know of no attacks that could do it inside a room like this…”

Cupping his chin inside his right hand, the young man would look at the door, then back at the group slowly focusing his attentions to the Headmistress “Ma’am, do you know of any attacks that could be used to cause damage like this?” Hitora was quite curious to know what was down there, but needed to get the picture of what happened in this room together first…

[Yakou]

“I’m honestly. . . Not too sure what to make of this yet,” Yakou responded to Jasmine’s question, his hand reaching to his forehead to brush away a stray bang. “I would have assumed we’d have some place to store anything vital to the village. Where that place was located hasn’t crossed my mind. . . But keeping it near the Amekage does sound a bit better, but this location was chosen, for reasons we’ve yet to be told, to house whatever it is that was taken. ” Yakou’s cool gaze set itself onto the head mistress, his hands combed through his hair as he continued. “Since, I assume, only a select few know that this bank deals with things besides money, I feel we need to get a better understanding of what we’re dealing with before we make any assumptions.”

The blown open trap door was the first thing Yakou observed when the headmistress led them through the backroom. It seemed like quite an oddity amongst all other areas of the bank, but what seemed most mysterious was the fact it was contorted as if was attacked from the inside. But from the front door, it seemed likely the culprits were trying to force their way in. “Mm.” He hummed, his sights setting on the stairs that laid underneath where the trapdoor once remained. “Well, this is confusing,” Yakou muttered as he walked towards the trap door next to Hitora.

“The last door had what looked like a fist, and was broken in from the outside. While it looks like, to me, that this was destroyed from the inside.” Yakou knelt down to place his hands along the concrete that was torn upwards and away from where the stairways led. “Isn’t that unusual, though? If it were the same culprit, I’d expect the same method on both doors, but. . .” Purple orbs were gazing down on the eerily long stairway, narrowing as he focused on what went on. “Maybe it’s just best we head down there. And maybe, Head mistress, it would just be best to elaborate on what other dealings this bank takes part of, so that we can be of actual help.” He said in a tone that remained calm, genuinely hoping to get to the bottom of this. Literally, and figuratively.

[Father 'Suke]

Of the scents gathered Yoko can hint at five separate scents all together. Of the five, four were by far stronger than the rest, as if there was no hygiene or cleanliness for years on those smells. However, the scents were long past and were thereby untraceable once leaving back out into the raining land outside the building. Nonetheless, these scents may well be unforgettable. In regards to observing the room for hidden secrets, Hitori found nothing to his ability.

The Yakou boy was indeed one whom held a good manner of respect, that much the headmistress could tell and appreciated above all else. Once having gathered all of the children she did speak at last to them with a tad bit of irritation to her eyes but her voice remained calm. "Ultimately this is a bank that trades in secrets however it houses a prison for four separate criminals. Each criminal posed a different threat to the village and were locked in these containment fields.” She looked at each of the shinobi and then asked them for their own hypothesis on said criminals, “I would like each of you to list off who you might think to be dangerous criminals to the village, and don't forget to also think of what connection they may pose.” It was like back in grade school or the academy, the headmistress already giving them an assignment and urging them to use their brains for all the might they may muster in the world for such a task.

OOC: Apologies it took so long for me to get a post here. Now, we are back onto a 2 day (48 hr) IIC, and the task now for each of you to create 1, yes one criminal in your minds and bring him or her forwards of the five scents. Just one. Make it however you like, but treat it all as rumor.

So we were all stumped as to what could possibly have happened here. While both Hitora and Yakou lingered by the trap door, Yoko let out a low whine indicating that a great number of scents were left in the room. While he quickly darted off back into the other room, I glanced toward the others and sighed. Yakou asked something of the Headmistress, whom I was beginning to grow annoyed with. But when she replied to my comrade, I could feel the heat of anger curling up within my stomach.

Headmistress spoke of this building not only being a bank but a miniature prison for four separate criminals. Well the first half we all already knew, but the second? That was enough for me to trail back toward the group and listen to what else the snotty woman had to say. Meanwhile, Yoko jogged back into the room, a gloomy look on his coal coloured features. He found nothing from the faint scents and had decided to return back to the room. I knell down and wrap my arm around him. “Don’t worry, sweetheart. We can try the fresher scents in the room.”

My head turned back toward the headmistress as she spoke of us listing off criminals that we may have heard of. I frown, conjuring up any past notices that may have caught my brief attention while I roamed the streets of the village. Skimming through the memories while the other probably did the same. But vaguely an image of a woman approximately my age with hair the colour of a raven’s wing and piercing blue eyes popped into my mind. The image was plastered against one of the billboards within the village near the tower.

She was rumoured to have robbed a few banks and attempted to assassinate Ame no Kuni’s feudal lord on more than one occasion. But Yoko nor I knew what she smelt like so I doubted that she was one of the culprits behind this break in. I sigh again and folded my arms across my chest. “I don’t usually live here in the village as my residence is out in Yokoburi. But when I was heading toward the tower this morning, I vaguely remembered seeing a woman’s poster on the billboard," I pause, "she had long raven coloured hair and the bluest eyes I have ever seen. She was rumoured to have attempted to assassinate the Feudal Lord a couple of times and bank robbery.”

My mind pulled up the image of the woman again as I tried to remember her name. Something odd, as if suggesting that she did not come from the village. I remembered fussing over the name because the surname was extremely odd for these parts. Kaishin.. “Mei Kaishin.” I suddenly said, my gaze brightening upon remembering the name. I turned toward the headmistress and two gentleman expectedly.

[Hitora Ryunobu (Uchiha)]

Hitora would slowly stand as he listened to their temporary partner, the young man seemed to have some sort of idea that the Headmistress liked. As he listened and thought, he slowly approached the headmistress, and listened as she explained what this place was. It wasn’t a bank that much had been made obvious, it was in fact a secret prison and its existence was likely a village secret.

Hitora was slightly baffled at the older woman and why she decided to ask them who they thought was held down here let alone have them investigate if she seemed to have almost all the answers, but that wasn’t it. It wasn’t that she needed them to look for clues and say who was where and did what, no it was something else. Hitora then began to think of who it could be that was held down here, who had posed enough of a threat to the village for them to lock them away in secret.

Jasmine was the first to speak up, saying the name of Mei Kaishin a raven haired woman who had once tried to assassinate the feudal lord of the rain country and had been tied to several bank robberies. Taking only a moment more, the young man began to speak “I think that someone who could have been held here once was Ryuuzaki Uchiha, a very dangerous member of the Uchiha clan that was once thought to have been the culprit behind the clans sudden destruction some years ago, though he is a known criminal who has killed many and is said to be an expert of the Sharingan…

He also is known for having the desire to spill the blood of any living thing for fun, he was a truly sadistic man who didn’t care who he killed. If I remember the stories he was once nearly caught by the hidden leaf village but managed to escape somehow, eventually he found his way here and was arrested after killing a few important people…”

Hitora knew this man and his crimes well, not only was he one of the prime suspects in the Uchiha clan’s destruction but he also was well known to any shinobi in the hidden leaf and the hidden rain for his murders, the young Uchiha wanted to have a little….chat with Ryuuzaki, but he had no clue where he’d been kept all these years or if he’d even managed to survive. However it seems that his luck changed a bit, in that now he’d have the chance to speak to Ryuuzaki and find some things out…

[Yakou]

It seemed that they would start making progress with the headmistress revealing some important information about the bank’s dealings. ‘A prison within a bank, how odd,’ he thought to himself, listening as Jasmine and Hitora started to speak of criminals who posed the most threat to the village. They both proved to be very knowledgeable about this subject, most likely a pleasing thing for the headmistress.

Racking his brain for any suspects, only a vague memory came up – Yakou’s master once spoke of someone the headmistress might know of. “A recall hearing of Sasaki Hamada, a highly skilled swordsmen from a nearby town who owned a large dojo. . . I recall him being a man of immeasurable strength, they said it came from his clan, those known to be chaotic beast in the heat of battle.” Yakou hadn’t a clue what they meant of that, but from the bingo book entry of the man, he knew that he was a tall individual with tanned skin, white hair spiked in every direction with a deadpan expression. Just from the picture he seemed like quite the interesting individual.

”He was training a group of followers with hopes of trying to take over Amegakure, but before they could act, the dojo was burned to the ground. Though I don’t know what happened specifically to his followers and him, I assume he was taken in, perhaps . . . ? And if so, all of these high profile individuals were the placed in here, and now they’re. . . ” Yakou began to trail off as his hand went to cover his mouth, his gaze lowering as he began to see the potential threat that was looming over the village. This was quite the mess.
