Support Issue: Equipment
The Issue: Is it true that you're only allowed to use a single scroll once? I'm wanting my character to carry her guandao inside one scroll and use the other to carry various items while she travels.

If my character wanted to use just a single item from that second scroll, does that mean that all the items contained in the one scroll will come unsealed and that I'd have to use another scroll to seal them away again?

Edit: How do I distinguish between Secondary Items and Non-Weapon Items? For example, how would I categorize Flint or even Butt Bags and other equipment holders?

I will review more on scrolls real soon but, for now...I think I can help you with that other thing.

Well butt-bags are easily non-weapons because of their use. Think about it can you honestly fight with an empty bag? XD

The main thing you need to know is that the Non-Weapons and Primary Weapons share the same ryo. Secondary weapons are easily distingued by their own info alone.

Here is how I see it:

The equipment items hold things weapons and other wise because they have no lethal use of their own. Secondary weapons are vast tools/weapons that are organized by slots whom non-weapon items contain.

Primary items are the only things that don't normally require slots to hold them so its usually self explanatory.

Basically non-weapons can't be used as a clear weapon unless stated in the description prolvided. Secondary weapons are items that aren't as effective as primary weapons but, come in larger numbers as well as their own ryo storage.

Edit: As a matter of fact a super easy way tell if an item is secondary or Non are by the labels in the Type section of the description. Non-weapons are not labeled primary or secondary but, the others are. I literally just remembered that.

And about those scrolls...

Depending on the scroll you have you can hold more than one jutsu/summon at once in one scroll. However I think that once you use that particular jutsu in order to use it again it either has to be re-written in the same scroll ICly or, replaced in a different scroll all together.

You can have as many scrolls as your equipment slots can allow you to have. However the catch is using the scroll wisely since it can only be used once. So in my theory here is my verdict.

Scroll has 3 jutsus
Jane uses one of the jutsus
Used jutsu disappeares leaving the remaining two.

Ah! I have one more question. I'm considering switching out the guan dao for a weapon known as the meteor hammer. Since it isn't listed in the item index anywhere, would it be something I'd have to apply for in Customs?

So far I have found nothing directly under Meteor Hammer here in NFRP. So yes you may need to make it a custom.

To Note:

You seal things like items in a scroll and it produces writing on the scroll. When you summon the item from the scroll the writing disapears.

Scrolls are resuable in the sense that you simply reseal the item back on the scroll after your done using the item.

Also each item takes up a certain amount of scroll length. You can keep sealing things on a scroll until there is no more space.
