The Issue:

I have a few minor questions regarding the Airontoku BL. Although adero has not logged on since August of this year, I am unable to PM him with hopes of receiving a reply any time soon. However, if he is invisible and does see this, please PM me.

Temperature Control
Rank: C, B, A
Skill: Supplementary Ninjutsu
Effect: Allows the user to effectively control their body temperature.
Special: ---
Drawback: Skill rank must be one below, or higher than the jutsu rank desired. Ex: A B rank may learn A rank temperature control, however a C rank may not.
Description: Upon reaching the age of 5, all children of the Airontoku are taught the basics for manipulating and controlling body temperature. A key essential for all members of the clan, such a technique has various stages which allow higher temperatures to be used. Both B and A rank are strictly reserved for those who enter the military however. At C rank, the user may control his or her body temperature only to twice the average human body temperature. (97.6 degrees F., aka up to 195.2 degrees F.) Upon entering the military, they may be taught B rank which allows use other more offensive techniques (3 times the average human body temperature). Only the most skilled are able to master A rank, which opens a wider variety of techniques (4 times the average human body temperature). The higher the mastery, the higher placed in society one is considered.
Limit: Must be of the Airontoku

The above technique is known at C rank for my character, however I would like to go ahead and learn the B ranked version. However, it says in the description that: Both B and A rank are strictly reserved for those who enter the military however. Does this mean that my character needs to enter in the clan's military in order to learn this technique at B and A rank?

Kohaku is 17 years old and it states in the BL thread (linked below) that at 19, she must find a spouse or sign up for the military.

By tradition, it is expected of a female to find a spouse at the age of 19. If a female is unable to do so by the her 23rd birthday, she is then required to also sign up for arms.

I want to train more into this BL but is all the above stating that I cannot gain the ranks of certain techniques until Kohaku joins the military?

Also, if Adero is unable to reply to PMs and what not. It also states that by being a part of the clan means that they must return to their birth place every six months. They also need permission to leave the village as well. But how can we do this when adero is unable to post his permission?

I have no problem traveling all the way to the village, but seeking permission would become rather difficult for obvious reasons, just want to know is there anything else an Airontoku can do for that specific requirement knowing that adero may or may not be active to give his permission.

Hey, lets see if I can help you out here. First of all for the permission to leave the village problem I suggest you PM a staff member to see if you can just be excused from that requirement and, just do what you need to do.

Now as for the how technique goes I am not sure if the age matters. Unless in the BL it states you HAVE to be 19 to be able to enter the military then I say: train on. I mention this because it seems more like you are expected to have a spouse or be in the military BEFORE the age of 19. Other than that I suppose you should be okay.

However again I suggest talking to staff to make sure you have the approval to do this.

this I actually know, yay. not the problems with the technique, but for the other stuff. im not sure if its written down anywhere, but as a rule if theres anything requiring permissions from somebody specific, ie: adero, masakuni, etc......well, IF THEY HAVENT BEEN ONLINE for an extended period which im quite certain adero is past, or if they have a history of consistently going offline for inconveniently long periods, then their permissions may be emulated by the permissions of head staff members.


tl;dr: ask heero, ayame, or tie. they might just hook you up.

regarding the technique, I believe you may be screwed until kohaku's nineteenth birthday. sorry about that. but its a silly restriction anyway, and id ask head staff about that too

Yeah thought so.

Alright, I also believe that the BL itself should be revamped. The restrictions are somewhat ridiculous considering the members need permission for virtually everything.
