Once inside the gates a person is effectually inside the building. Stairs are the only thing beyond the gates, a narrow set that allows only one person abreast. Once the stairs are ascended the person will find themselves upon what is essentially the first floor of the tower, that is also what is visible first upon the base of stone. These stairs open to the common area of the tower. The floors are a polished stone, black in color. They are cool to the touch revealing them to be marble. Black leather couches are scattered for people to recline upon. Black tables hold a variety of objects. The walls are lined in black and white vertical stripes. Offwhite lighting keeps the room from being overly bright. One table stands in each corner of the room. A marble bust rests upon each table and a plaque bearing a name below it. These names are Sayuri - Nidaime; Buro Niatsu - Sandaime; Kaguya Elgar - Yondaime; Tsukiko Mayu - Godaime. The four greatest Kages of the village.
A black desk sits at the southern end of the room, opposite from where a person would enter. Behind this desk sits a receptionist. On the desk is a black leather book that bears all of the missions available to be taken. It is here that these missions are looked over and selected. The receptionist is known as Yamato. His impressive intellect and expert decision making has lead him to the lead position as assistant to the Kage. He has even been trusted to make decisions in the absence of the reigning Kage.

Two main halls branch off from the waiting area. To the left is the hallway that leads to the dining area. The floor is polished wood called Purple Heart, a deep color that appears almost black until the light reveals strips of purple. The long tables placed in a 'u' were of the same wood, as were the benches. Such a set up allows servers easier access to the guests. The western wall, at the opening of the 'u' holds a beautiful fireplace for warming the room. Expertly designed ventilation prevents smoke from filling the building. Intricate murals fill the walls of the room. They show the forces of Otogakure fighting and destroying various non-human entities. From demons to ghosts this is a show of everything Otogakure has overcome.
Despite the size of the dining hall, capable of comfortably seating thirty, anyone with access may come here at any time and be served happily. Various kitchen staff are always present in case someone needs to eat.
Another door sits at the northern wall of the dining area. This leads to the kitchen. Well equipped with pots, pans, and all sorts of cooking implements, this bustling kitchen is comfortably capable of serving thirty guests. Three chefs and a patisserie run the kitchen with the help of their assistants and servers. Delicious soups, soufflés, entrees, salads, desserts, and more find their way from the kitchen into the mouths of hungry guests. The rough tile floor is designed to wash easily since spills are common in a kitchen. Both the cupboards and cold storage are stocked o the filling point so ingredients are always on hand.

The gothic feel of the entire building continues in the Kage's office. This room is accessible from the right hand hall in the waiting area. Continuing all the way down the long hall one would come upon a black set of double doors. Two guards stand outside the office. The first guard is Hathus, a silver haired male clad in black leather. He is a master of the fighting arts and his weapon of choice is a chain. It is he who informs all but a short list of visitors that they must surrender their items before entering. The second guard is known as Rhapsody, this pale skinned girl sports white blonde hair and red eyes marking her as an Uchiha. She wears white stockings, lace up boots, and a blue and white dress. Small black gloves cover her hands. She is a master of illusions, should any seek to offer harm she will befuddle and confuse them.
The walls of the office are black with a thin white floral pattern across them. A sleek black desk sits towards the back of the room. The desk makes it impossible to see the floor behind. On the desk sits a contraption for filing as well as a computer. A comfortable white reclining chair is wheeled behind the desk. Two chairs sit before the desk, both black, and deep set. Small book cases stand in the corners. To the left is a black leather couch, long enough to stretch out upon. A plush black rug covers the floor nearly to the edges of the room. Behind the desk are two thin mirrors with silver frames. The glass is painted all black allowing no reflection. A small table sits behind the desk as well. A black marble bust of a female sits on the table, a red cloth tied over the eyes like a blindfold. It is here that the Kage meets with visitors.
A secondary door sits to the side of the desk. This black door leads to a bathroom. The walls are painted a deep purple. The floor is white marble with streaks and swirls of black. A large white bath sits on the northern edge of the room. Behind it is a gilded and mirrored storage where towels, candles, and toiletries are kept. Besides the fireplace the room is illuminated by a white chandelier. To the side of the tub is a small table with a lamp as well as a comfortable black chair. An intricate ebony chest with a raised white bowl for a sink sits on the south edge. A large mirror with a silver gilt frame sits above. A full length mirror can be found on the western wall, along with two small doors that lead to the toliets.

The darkest rooms hidden within the bowels of the castle are the prison cells and torture chambers. Four lone cells stand occupied only by shackles on the wall and hay mattresses. No light streams into these cells. Twenty-four hours a day guards watch these cells in four hour rotations. No guard will speak to a prisoner at any time. The guards are chosen specifically for their mastery of physical arts and strong wills. One special guard visits daily to drain the chakra from the prisoners. They are fed only water and thin slop, not quite enough to sate them and thus weakening them physically.
Off from the prison is the torture chamber. Devices such as a rack, whips, chains, an iron maiden, thumbscrews, and more fill this room. A fireplace keeps the room unbearably hot. The torturers go clean shaven for this reason and wear little more than shorts. The heat serves to make the victim dizzy as well as allow devices to be heated for further torture.
