Description: A highly paid and respected actor wishes for a shinobi to escort him from Kirigakure, to his home upon the coast of Mizu no Kuni. Because he is such an assets to the movie industry, his safety is his own number one concern. Though it sounds like a stupid mission, he is indeed a target to those who hate his films, and wish to kidnap him in exchange for a large ransom. Keep him safe, and dispose of any thugs attempting to making this mission a failure.



Objective: Escort the actor to his house safely.


Reward: 8,500 Ryo, 500 Ryo for each tango killed

Akihiko made his way to the overlands, as suggested by Kenji. Fully geared and itching to get this mission done, the genin looked around until he saw a woman not too far from his location. The young man picked up the pace a little, not wanting to keep a woman waiting, and gave a bright, cheery smile that felt plastic even to him. "Hello, are you Miss Suzuki Yuuko? My name is Akihiko Yukimura, it's a pleasure to meet you." He kept things civil on his end, and now it was time to see what he was in store for... 

He was to escort her, safely, to Mashimizu, the capital. Hopefully, this mission went by smoothly. After all, despite the fact he wanted to fight, it would probably be best to keep her out of harm's way. Even if he did get a bonus for each assailant killed...

"Greetings." The woman said flatly, turning around to see the face of the Kirigakure ninja. The geisha; why, she was beautiful. Her alluring eyes honed into Akihiko's own in an intense stare, perhaps he would be intimidated by her leer. Perhaps his eyes, if he could free them from her gaze, would spy the quick hand of hers move to a short sword at her waist. 

"Now who are you?" She didn't know who this boy was, even if he did wear a village headband, he didn't have a purpose of talking to her, did he? Suzuki Yuuko was a well-known geisha in the city of Mashimizu, this is why she thought he knew her. There were many men and women that knew her; some even wanted her dead, which is why she hired protection.

"Are you here to escort me to the capital?" she asked, moving her hand away from her weapon; she picked up rather quickly on his body language and some of his inventory. It looked like he held a mission scroll, and her keen eyes could see her signature on it.

Akihiko continued his plastic grin. Suzuki was obviously beautiful, and at one point in time Akihiko probably would have drooled over her, but those days are long since erased. Sex appeal, sexual activities- none of that interested the young genin, after he witnessed his sister's rape and murder. He was not intimidated, but what did interest him, however, was how her tone matched her actions. She reached for her short sword, and so Akihiko held out his mission scroll, which she seemed to have noticed just before he revealed to openly to her. 

"Yes, I am here to escort you, Miss Yuuko. I apologize for not stating so immediately." He gave her a low bow and straightened once again. "Shall we be on our way for the capital, ma'am?" In the few short moments he met her, the genin decided he liked the geisha- doesn't let down her guard, and if his observation was correct, she could fight. This was turning out to be interesting. 

For now, they would travel the main roads as the untamed terrain would only slow them down. Akihiko remembers that he is her bodyguard for a reason, meaning she would never leave his sight. Akihiko would keep his ears open, as well, hoping he would sense the enemy before they struck. The young genin was keeping his guard up, despite his body language. 

Akihiko motioned for them to begin, his grin had fallen into a small smile. He was not trying to make her uncomfortable, after all.

"Hmph." she turned her nose up to the low-ninja, whipped out her fan and began to walk in front of him. The journey to Mashimizu was about a full day's length, so rests would indeed be included in the excursion. After a mile or so, the geisha turned to Akihiko, her serpentine eyes looking to charm him.

"If you can get me back to Mashimizu safely, I'll give you something on top of your ryo reward." Her smile meant that she was pretty serious, and winked before turning back to the main road.




Else where, within the thickets, shadows flickered. These would be about fifty meters behind Akihiko and the geisha, thus rendering him currently unable to scry out. Two of them moved in zagging tandem and seemed to be chasing after the two travelers.

dAkihiko was amused by her attitude shifts. At first, she wanted nothing to do with him, and then suddenly, she attempted to charm him. He smiled once again when she huffed, and followed closely. The genin took the mission seriously, for she was a citizen of Mizu no Kuni, and because she kept him entertained. He was ready to spring into battle at the drop of a hat, but so far, nothing happened. 

She turned to him, and attempted once again to charm the young genin. He gave her another small smile at her invitation, and got the feeling that reward was not what most men assumed it to be. "Sounds pleasant, Miss Yuuko, I look forward to it." The young man spoke, his tone had changed to one of honey. He decided to let her think he was in the palm of her hand for now, despite the fact he was not interested in the least. Female or male, or whatever else, it did not interest Akihiko Yukimura.

The genin's ears listened as they walked for any disturbance they could detect. Sadly, or perhaps fortunately, they found nothing out of the ordinary. His eyes scanned the area ahead of them, and then the left and right. He cautioned a look over his shoulder, but spotted nothing as of yet. This did not ease his nerves, however, he asked, "Let me know when you grow weary, Miss Yuuko, and we shall rest." 

Why did he have this feeling of excitement suddenly? Akihiko's right index finger twitched, which revealed that he was far from relaxed. He even went as far as to pull out his knife from one of the vest compartments, running his finger across the polished metal. It was this act that calmed him slightly, for with a weapon, he was not defenseless. Chakra could be depleted, but a weapon consumed nothing but the blood and bone of those it killed. 

Remain on guard, but don't freak yourself out, Akhiko, he mentally consoled as he exhaled a sigh. Thinking to himself, he began to wonder... should he cover them now? He knew the Hidden Mist Jutsu, and so he could cover them. His sense of hearing was good, but he doubted he could rely on it for the entire trip. Akihiko decided that once they came into contact with anyone seeking to harm them, he would use the Hidden Mist to cover them and hopefully, help get the target out of here.

"Hey, where do ya think you're goin'?..." a voice rang out to Akihiko and the geisha from behind him. The genin would see two rogues of Mist staring him and her down. Things were about to get heated really quickly. At twenty-five meters, Akihiko had better make a decisive move or get caught in the crossfire.

The geisha tensed and immediately wove handseals---she apparently also had access to spiritual talents.

Akihiko jumped at first, startled from his deep thought, and turned to face the origin of the voices. Two rogue Mist ninja, undoubtedly here to cause trouble, stared himself and the target down. He noticed she was weaving handseals, which meant his assumption was right- she had combat training. Akihiko quickly performed his jutsu, the Hidden Mist jutsu, and watched as the entire area was engulfed in mist.

Effect: A Skill where a user uses the water around them to create a massive mist to fill around the user.

Special: "Handseals"

Drawback: ---

Description: A skill which creates a very dense fog that decreases the surrounding visibility to near zero. It produces an environment perfect for a silent assassin who follows an opponent through sound. This mist can not be blown away by any type of Wind Jutsu.

Limit: Water Release

"What the- damn it!" one of the thugs said as the mist gathered. He drew a kunai, and threw straight for where Akihiko was. Thankfully the genin saw his reach for it before the mist obscured his vision, and grabbed the geisha around the waist, before he pulled her down. The kunai sailed over head. He could tell she was pissed off from his touch and tackle, but he hadn't been sure who the target would be. 

He stood up, and yanked her to her feet. Right now, her safety was his mission- which irked him, since he wanted blood. He gripped her wrist and ran, for he heard them begin the chase. Not only that, but he heard a few more ninja tools being thrown- kunai or shuriken, he didn't know which- and so Akihiko pulled her to the side of the path. When he noticed the path end, and the foliage begin, he pushed her behind a large tree and forced her to get low to the ground. 

Akihiko heard the two rogues gripe and rave. The kept close and did their best to move cautiously through the mist, afraid of a sneak attack. The genin took out a single scroll he kept with him. It was blank and one of many, but it would do. Such a waste... He chucked it as hard as he could farther up the path, hoping the sound would make them think they had moved in that direction. A rustle was heard, and then a thunk. Apparently, the scroll landed in the leaves of a tree farther ahead, before hitting the branch below. 

They ran off in that direction, and he theorized they would assume they moved in that direction, true, but would they keep on the hunt? He pulled out a kunai, and then threw it in the direction they came from. Eventually, it hit some bushes, obviously, for it made the appropriate noise. That's when he heard, "They're trying to sneak back around, let's go!" before they raced off as fast as they could. 

He gave a silent sigh, and looked down at the geisha, who was just as pissed as he thought. The woman stood up as quietly as possible, and whispered, "How dare you lay your hands on me, I was going to-" Akihiko raised his finger, silencing her, and whispered, "Be silent, woman, we have to remain quiet and move fast, or they'll return." 

The jutsu remained active as the moved quickly, but silently further down the path, until Akihiko could not keep it active anymore and let it fall. The rest of the trip was filled with silence and glares from the geisha, but the genin cared little. Before long, they made it safely to the capital, Mashimizu...

At the command of Akihiko, the geisha snapped her mouth shut. She was impressed by his tactics, even if they may have put her in a choice situation for harm. Yuuko and Akihiko moved to the capital with little disturbance, having left the two nukenin searching around in a fag-laden area.

Once inside of the walls of the capital, Yuuko kept to her promise. The two stood outside the inn where she would rest and she placed a small token of gratitude in his hand.

"Give word to your Mizukage that you are indeed a fine shinobi." The flute that she handed him was a faint blue color. Her eyes met his as she gave a word of advice. "Perhaps you could become a Bard and use this flute while you are shrouded by the Kirigakure no Jutsu." She winked and pecked him on the cheek before disappearing behind the sliding door of the inn.

I totally forgot to put a post of the jutsu I used... crud, I can edit that in, sorry- I was so wrapped up in the writing it slipped my mind...

Akihiko was thankful the mission was over, and had gone mostly without incident. He was about to apologize for his forcefulness when she handed him the flute. He examined it, blinking in confusion. It certainly was beautiful, he had to admit, but he never expected a gift... from anyone. She mentioned him becoming a Bard, and honestly the idea intrigued him. Besides, when he was a boy he had wanted to learn music. 

His train of thought was interrupted when she kissed his cheek, and departed inside. He touched his cheek gingerly, before he gave a small smile and put the flute into one of the compartments of his vest. He felt fidgety and awkward, and so sped walk away. Romance held nothing for the genin, but even so, he liked the geisha, and would remember her, bipolar as she is. 

With that, Akihiko Yukimura made his way back towards the Village, with intention to train for his future.
