Bandits on the horizon
Rank: C-rank
IIC Length: 2 Days
Difficulty: Low-Moderate
Objective: Get rid of the bandits
Description: Sunagakure is not exactly a friendly nation, nor do they particularly care about the folks who live in the desert who do not pay taxes to the village, but when marauders and bandits come creeping into the territory of the village, the village gets a little territorial. Barking at the heels of merchants and traders who are trying to bring money and resources to the village means that the dogs that hunt are about to be turned into the prey. Many a man has been sent fleeing off to their death into the desert, and only a few have managed to make it back, but their conditions have been severe due to dehydration and wounds suffered at the hands of the bandits. Lionel Tross is one man who was attacked nearer the city and has warned the guards at the gates as he came screaming into the village.
Reward: 7,500 Ryo (3,750 Ryo to the village)

Attire: Hitomi was wearing her usual orange tank top and green short shorts. Two blue streamers were entwined at the back of the top which allowed for them to sail behind her as she ran as if they were a cape fluttering in the wind.
Dashing through the gates of the village Hitomi was heading toward where she ’smelt’ the bandits, her keen sense of smell was godlike after all (no basis whatsoever). As she darted through the desert she noticed that Shun had come out to say hello as well and was running along beside her. ”Hey Shun!” she beamed as the two dashed through the sand, kicking it up behind them so they looked like a mini sand storm. As their feet flew like machines beneath them Hotomi of course decided to take the lead however Shun wanted to be the one in front which of course resulted in an impromptu race. Not one to not ever ever let something not go her way Hitomi ran faster. Shun of course was not a fan of this, she wanted to be out in front after all and so she herself ran faster. In response of course Hitomi ran faster to be in front of her to which end Shun sped up also. It was a constant back and forth for a while until someone took an open lead.
Being a naturally faster being, Shun was of course the one who pulled out ahead of Hitomi, Cheetahs could reach such fast speeds after all but Hitomi was not one to ever let things just stand as they were. She didn’t let her legs just stay slow, she used all her will power, all of it dammit!, to run faster and faster. Her natural limits were beginning to break but she didn’t care. She was a Kamyuja after all; going past her natural limits was natural. So, it wasn’t exactly going paster her natural limits in a sense. Her feet moved faster and faster as her thighs seared with blood and pulsated along. Boom, boom, boom, Hitomi could even feel her heart beat at this point. She ran and ran and ran. Boom, boom, boom. It was deafening though soothing in a way. Hitomi was only ever happy when she was pushing herself like this. Shun didn’t even think that Hitomi was behind her. She was beginning to tire at this point herself, Cheetah’s overheated rather quickly though with a quick look behind her she was scared straight to keep running!
Hitomi had a deranged look on her face as she tried to get ahead of Shun, a terrifyingly deranged look on her face. Shun began to run even faster with the increased adrenaline in her system because of the fear of Hitomi catching her. She began to pull away from the former Kazekage and in response Hitomi began to take in more and more air, taking deeper breaths. It was an unconscious effort to make her run faster, supplying her already highly oxygenated lungs with more oxygen and powering them up to the max. With a renewed vigour her legs began to speed up even further and she began to make distance on Shun. A quick look behind her and Shun could see her master catching up. She compelled herself to speed up as well, pushing her little cat feet to move more and more. It was all futile however as Hitomi had already gotten the boost to her system she needed and as time went on, she gained more and more distance and within an instance she leapt forward and landed bang smack on Shun. Tackling her to the ground and scrapping each other’s knees to the fullest.
