"Thank you for your pledge to the assistance of the academy! The shinobi village needs more like you, sir!"
"Oh, thank you for your kind words young man, but these old bones can't do much of anything else these days!"
He grinned in response, but more importantly in belief, that the words I had spoken were genuine. Perhaps they were, in a sense, but I wasn't here to judge the philosophy of the the truth, just here to make some money. The teacher met me outside of the classroom, convinced he was to meet an old Oto Ninja by the name of "Hokami", and briefed me on my objective. Watch a handful of kids take an examination.
"So you'll just walk amongst the aisles, keeping an eye out on the academy students." he had told me.
"Oh there's no need for all of that," I had responded, "my eyes are just as good from the front of the room as they are from any other perspective."
So when I sat at the front of the room for the duration of the test the teacher was only slightly concerned that I wasn't doing my job. But beneath the bone-white casque of Hokami were the glowing, red eyes of Tasukeru. The powerful doujutsu allowed me to see to the back of the class and everywhere in between. Some part of me hoped to catch some kid cheating just to prove that I was able to attain such heights rather easily.
"Everyone has their test, you may now begin," said teacher. He gave me a glance that told me that my job had officially started, but I had already been looking out for a couple seconds now. There were myriad kids in the place, of all different bloodlines and backgrounds, none of which I really knew well enough to say for sure where they came from. But I waited, watching, for someone to decide that maybe taking a quick peek at their neighbor's paper might not be a bad idea...
