Slight change to revamped Bios

I know revamps and recreates require 1 mod minimum but there have been some revamps such as spirit's that just chill for ages - or how some bios can get an assistants mark quickly but not a mods one for a while.

I suggest making it so that after say 1 week of being accepted by an assistant then the revamp / recreate can beapproved by 2 other assistants instead of a mod.

I.e

Takes 1 mod + 1 assistant

or

Takes 3 assistants (provided a week passed since an assistant first marked it approved)

I just want to throw out there that I doubt many mods will do any sort of revamp grading if they know the assistants will just do it. Just food for thought.

My point of bringing this up is that the 1 week wait would be unnecessary if this were the case.

There are currently 7 members who can 2.2 an assistant approve bio

Zets is busy with rl a lot leaving 4

casual observations show that solus and nira tend to check the most bios out of the remaining staff that can.

Tie is head mod and has a lot to do anyway

Natty has been unwell recently and due to timezones even with pms can't always get round to stuff quickly.

This isn't a dig at staff just what made me tnotice think of the idea. Rl always comes first

I agree With Jim here. While I understand the reasoning the reason we have a mod check is because the higher risk of mistakes due to the complexity of the bio. I would like the idea better of 3 assistants to check versus one mod and one assistant.

See, I'm fine with this idea right now, since several assistants are pretty experienced in terms of staff work. However, if the assistant positions were entirely occupied with new staff members without that experience, I have a lot of doubt over if obscure bio mistakes will be caught.

Moderators, Head Moderators, and even Heero make mistakes just as much as Assistants do. If mistakes are made when accepting a bio, we do what we always do when accepting bios. Move it back, get the mistake fixed, and let the person go on their way. Switching from One mod/one other to Three assistants isn't going to mean that there are a ton of bios getting accepted with mistakes. I think it's a good idea to include this other method of accepting.

So after taking in everyone's account. I looked through the good and bad of both arguments.

I decided not to go through with this, even not altering it for 3 Assistants.

Here's why. I do not want the Moderators to feel "Well don't worry Assistants can just do it." and I do not want the Assistants to feel "Crap we have to do it if the Moderators are feeling lazy."

We have to work as a team. Whether we like grading high TP accounts or not we have to do it.

Yeah, I agree with Heero on this one. Sure there are more assistants than mods right now, but in my opinion having 3 assistants accepting things gives them a little too much power when they are “mods in training”.

And natsy I wouldn't really call us mods in training seeing Isley Ryo and myself have all been mods before
