Night had only just fallen. The dim lighting in the bar did little in the way of illumination. Smoke rolled through the air from patrons and their cigarettes. There was a steady din of speech, but not so much that it was difficult to hear. Positioned at the bar was a man of gigantic proportions. Seated he was taller than most people standing around him. His size, demeanor, and beard indicated that he was not one to be trifled with. To his right sat another bearded man, though he was certainly the smaller more approachable of the two. To his right a young woman, blonde and honey eyed. She hung on to his every word.
"You wish to know the story of Boris Dragomirov..." He was saying, a smile twitching at his lips. His rough accent was slightly difficult to place. "Boris was born in Frost Country. There was Mama Oksana, and Papa Arseny. Together they make little Boris." He chuckled to himself as he glanced over his right shoulder. "Well, not so little." He leaned forwards now, drawing the girl to do the same as he dropped his voice ever so slightly. "Now you understand... Frost Country is Soviet Country! Very cold. Very harsh. At four, Boris go to work in factory. Make radios. Click little plastic case on." He made the motion with his hands. Pick up the pieces, click together. Pick up the pieces, click together.
"At six Boris was already very strong. They put Boris to work now shoveling coal into fire. Keep other workers warm." He tensed his arms slightly, causing the biceps and triceps to ripple. The girl swayed slightly in appreciation. "At seven Boris had enough. Boris left for adventure!" He leaned back now and opened up his posture, inviting the girl to lean in even further. "Boris began to travel world! Not so cold in other places. Some work here... some work there. Mostly Boris travels... live off the land. Hunt and sell the game to local villages."
The girl was entranced. She gestured for him to lean closer and he was more than happy to oblige. As she whispered in his ear his face broke out into a smile. "Da." He said. She slipped from the bar stool and vanished for a moment. As he sat up the man to his right cuffed the back of his head. "Will you drop that ridiculous accent." He said. Boris grinned even further. "Ladies love how Boris talks. Boris must make ladies happy!" And with that the girl returned, grabbed his hand, and they vanished up the stairs.

Boris is what you would describe as a 'Man's Man'. From the age of four he has worked in one capacity or another, his strength far surpassing that of a normal man. He lives primarily off of the wilderness, hunting his own game and selling the extra for money. He enjoys cold drinks and warm women. Since a young age Boris has only looked out for number one, Boris. Now he is not the sort of man who will brush aside someone asking for the time. But Boris doesn't do 'favors'. He'll take any job for the right amount of pay with no regard for what is 'right' or 'wrong'.
He is not inclined to violence but he is deadly when crossed. Slow to anger and easy to cool, Boris's number one goal is to enjoy life. Commitment is a foreign concept. Boris is not one to be tied down but he is almost always true to his word. However if he feels someone is attempting to con him he has no problem double crossing them. Boris has very few people in his life he trusts. His parents, of course. And one or two fellow hunters. But outside of that very select group the only creature he trusts is Natasha. It is also true that Boris has made a few enemies in his life. Usually paramours of his numerous lovers. For this reason Natasha must approve any consumable before he will touch it.
Boris is usually quick with a joke. He will poke good natured fun at anyone no matter who they are. He also has no qualms with the dead, be they human or animal. A dead man's wallet is fair game in his opinion. Boris is not inclined to religion and believes a person decides their own way. Religion is for lesser men who do not have the strength to dictate their own lives and look for answers. On the whole he is a simple man with simple tastes. He is not a deeply layered person nor does he hold deeply philosophical interests.

How does one describe a man such as Boris? His black hair is shaggy yet alluring. The real draw however is the illustrious and well groomed beard that he has carefully cultivated over the years. He sports a full beard of thick rugged hair. His eyebrows are equally thick but they just add to the tall dark and handsome scruffiness. His brown eyes are deep but filled with hidden humor. His skin is riddled with its share of scars. Being a man's man he has been in his share of 'dangerous' situations and earned his stripes doing it. What is perhaps most interesting is his clothing.
A tight black shirt without sleeves covers his torso. Over this is a stylized chest piece of metal formed into a 'V' over his upper chest hiding his otherwise rippling pectorals. Holding this piece in place is a cape of Smilodon fur. A Smilodon he killed himself of course. Over his right shoulder is a metal guard with three large spikes. Beneath his shirt he wears a lighter leather jerkin for protection. Both hands are covered with black, studded, fingerless gloves. A thick leather belt lined with lambs wool surrounds his center and holds his quiver. A large metal buckle here also serves for protection... as if he needed it.
Tight black pants cover his lower body. Metal straps surround his thighs ready to support multiple holsters. Metal graves extend up past his knees to his lower thighs. The better for kicking his enemies. His boots are black leather and built for comfort rather than fashion, which is fine since they are almost always hidden behind the graves. His heavy shield is worn slung along his back, the crossbow hands from his left hip for quick access along with the quiver and whatever else he needs.
