Needed TP: 0/20
Suna Bakuhatsu no Jutsu (Sand Explosion Technique)
Rank: "C"
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: A technique that allows the user to take a small amount of sand to form the size of a ball that fits the palm of their hand. The user is capable of using the sand and allow the sand to move in the air. The explosion is mostly used for a distraction but is strong enough to distract opponents.
Special: "Hand Seals"
Drawback: Does not create a strong explosion, just strong enough to harm an opponent someone to stop them.
Description: The sand spreads out exploding outwards in all directions. The sand pushes forth being confined with the very chakra to where when it explodes outwards the sand is strong like glass. This technique cuts and slashes opponents if they are to close. In better terms the technique is more like a small grenade to where shrapnel spreads out in all directions.
Limit: Must have the Sand Release.

Brittle leaves crunched under the uncaring foot of Zeki as he entered a small clearing in the forest. The Sadojin had scouted out the clearing a few days ago and found it a ideal place to practice some jutsu, and he even thought up something to try out on the way to the clearing. He stopped at the center of the clearing before looking around at all the nearby trees and one just a few meters away catches his eye. He kneels down and scoops up a handful of dirt before straightening back up, all the while the dirt in his hand was quickly turning into a handful of sand. Zeki then begins to focus his chakra into the handful of sand, making sure to soak the sand evenly. Once he was sure that the handful of sand was soaked in enough chakra, he wound up his arm and launched the sand at the tree.
Zeki carefully watched the sand as it left his hand through both visual contact and through his sand manipulation technique. The blob of sand seemed to be holding together well, too well actually as the Sadojin noted as not a single grain of sand fell from the mass. When the sand finally impacted against the tree there was a muted boom and the sand flew apart in a instant. Zeki walked over to the tree to examine the damage done but only found disappointing results: the only visible damage done to the tree was a couple of darken scorch marks and the sand that he threw was scattered around the impact area to have really been apart of the detonation.
Zeki kneel down to examine the results in even more detail while mumbling to himself, "Chakra was not the problem, if anything there was too much chakra. It became the center of the jutsu and the effects are...lack luster. The sand should be both the vessel for the chakra and part of the detonation, not just one or the the other. Then maybe spreading the chakra more evenly would help but how? Shaping the sand may help. Yes...it would give the vessel more structure and allow the chakra to spread evenly throughout. That alone would decrease the chakra drain which means I just need to find a shape that allows the sand to be part of the detonation."
Zeki straightened up and begin to head back to his original spot in the middle of the clearing, all the while thinking up possible shapes that would be most effective in his new jutsu. Once there he gathers another handful of sand and starts to form it into shapes while infusing it with a decent amount of chakra. However this proves harder than the Sadojin first thought it would be as the influx of chakra caused the sand to want to naturally contort around the greater and lesser concentrations of chakra. So Zeki spent the next few minutes spreading out the chakra, smoothing it throughout the handful of sand so it would not become misshapen in mid flight. Finally managing to spread the chakra out evenly while keeping the sand from shifting too much, he returned his full attention to the sand only to realize that it had naturally taken the form of a, albeit very rough, ball. Interest peaked at this seemingly naturally occurring shape the sand had taken, Zeki let the chakra in the sand be released before repeating the process once again and again. And each time the sand kept forming into a ball in his hand, and with each passing attempt the ball of sand grew closer and closer to a more prefect spherical shape.
