Thankful for Autumn

Physically, Inoryu Yamanaka had all of the physical traits of one from the Yamanaka clan. His hair was shoulder length, in a single braid with a small barely noticeable green tie at the end, and his skin was more tan than others of the Yamanaka clan. His eyes were navy blue. His sleeveless, green vest was a cloth that swayed with the breeze as the invisible force brushed past, and the Yamanaka vigil was glorified on the back in thick bold lining. Underneath his vest was a vivid dark gray shirt, and he wore green pants of a slightly darker than his vest. His boots were also a darker shade of green. His whole outfit was based on the hues and saturation of the Land of Grass, which allowed him to camouflage virtually anywhere in the land if needed. But his vest was on, which made him visible against the stone backdrop of the mountain. Even though his gray shirt was of a darker hue, he would've still been capable of camouflaging into the mountain with its boulders and shadows from cliffs. There were patches of green here and there, and he was drawn to them.
He was sent on a mission by his mother to go out to the mountains and pick all of the flora he can find so she could examine them and see how far along they were in the season. Inoryu couldn't say no to a day off from training and to a day out during Autumn when the breeze was the kindest.
He had passed through the forest in stealth with his camouflage and he started at the base of the mountains, breaching an open landscape with an inclining step. He looked back at the forest behind him, seemingly endless, before making his way upward. There were patches of soft dirt that looked just as solid ground but when stepped upon gave way to gravity, he found his footing again quickly when he was unfortunate enough to step on one. The rocks were semi-rigid, and they ranged from larger pieces of dirt to boulders half his height. He had to be careful not to tip them over or else they would avalanche all the way to the forest. Soon enough, the ground began leveling from the steep incline and it was as if he were walking on normal footing. He began snipping the flora he found where grass grew and he placed them in his bag. Ever vigilant, he thought he heard the sound of tiny rocks falling, and he kept completely still to listen. He placed his focus on his sense of hearing.
He was a good distance away from Kusagakure, but not distant enough so he would need a map. He ritually trained in the forests, and he had gone as far as crossing the forests to the mountainous regions without a map. But he was aware of the dangers, having been in multiple fights with the predators. On his right chest above his pec was a scar left by a Beaked Terror when he was too slow to defend himself, a mistake he would not do again. He was prepared to defend himself with two slots of kunai, and a slot of bo shuriken in his butt bag.
Observation (43)
Rank: "E"
Skill: Skill
Effect: This skill focuses certain powers of observation - sight, smell, hearing, and touch.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Can be learned by an Animal. A failed check indicates that the character is oblivious until the thing is pointed out to him. This skill is important for ferreting out advancing enemies or ambushes, generally real-time events and actions occurring, versus scrutiny, which covers static objects or areas. A Game Master may roll an Observation skill check for a Character any time there is an NPC, monster, event or happening that a character might notice, even if he did not specifically state that he is monitoring his surroundings. Characters are capable of noticing any event within their perception. Observation reveals only facts, not motivation. If user has 25 or more Ranks in Evidence Analysis user gains a Synergy Bonus +10 to Observation. Each time learned user gets 1 die roll to increase the skill.
Limit: ---
Ear for Detail
Not only can the user detect noise, but they are also an expert at identifying its source. The user hears not only the scrape of a boot against the stony floor, but also recognize the pace of the footsteps and the distinctive sound of the footwear (or lack thereof), allowing the user to identify someone, or know if they have never met them, before they come into sight. If the user has met them before, the user recognizes the creature's stride and know exactly who approaches. If the user has never met the creature before, they know they have not met it but the user does know what type of creature it is and what type of footwear, if any, it is using (or if it is using some other form of movement). In order to do this the user must actively attempt this as a movement and beat the Observation check by 30 or more. Failure to beat the check by 25 or more means misidentifying the source of the sounds.
