Character Depth
Personality:
Kimarin is a gentle spirit. He cares deeply for those around him and his family, especially family. He is the type of person to never forget his aunts and uncles birth days. He always tends to brings flowers or gifts to his friends if they are hurt, hospitalized, or down with a cold. He loves family dinners when he can sit down and break bread with the best in his clan. His willingness to look past the bad in people is a gift and a curse, he can be considered gullible at times.
He doesn't like to get into trouble and tries to stay way from anything that might cause it. If people are causing trouble, he would be one of the first ones to cut his loses and head in the other direction, not caring an ounce what the others might think. Though he doesn't necessarily run right to the guards about any little thing, he has been known to report harsh bullies, people that beat the young or old, or attempts to stick up for those who can't for themselves.
When practicing known arts and techniques, Kimarin shows no mercy, "Trying his best, to be the best", is one of his mottos. Yet, even when pushing as hard as he does, Kimarin likes to do it smart; whenever he gets too tired and his technique begins to diminish, he stops and moves on to another, sure not to taint the entirety of the skill. He likes his other motto, "Work smart, not hard", something his father always told him.
Combat is something that Kimarin doesn't like to do. If at all possible to get out of a situation without fighting, he would take it. Though he does realize there is a time for all things. When he is fighting he isn't one to hold back, if he is going to do it, hes going to try and get things over with, no need to prolong the inevitable, in his mind he would just be causing more pain and suffering if he holds back.
Kimarin is a "get things done, and go home early" kind of guy. He is usually the first one anywhere, weather that is meeting friends at his favorite restaurant, or going to work. If he can start things off early he would, in his head, the sooner things get done, the sooner he can go train, or spend time with his dog. He doesn't like it when people are late, or make silly reasons to put everything off.
He tends to be playful and jokes a lot after he gets to know someone. Sometimes he can be considered, "touchy", always slapping people on the shoulder or trying to wrestle with them. Even though he is twenty years old, in his mind he is more around fifteen. Though this all changes when he doesn't know people, he can be a bit shy in large crowds, he is better than he used to be, but he still tends to stick to himself, until someone approaches him his mouth is usually shut.
Hot headed and annoying are two words some people apply to Kimarin. After he gets to know people he can talk your ear off if you get him on the right subjects. Hot headed, because sometimes if something is too hard or frustrating him he can lose his temper, though he isn't going to hurt someone if he bursts out, probably just going to yell or complain. No matter, whatever Kimarin is working on, you can be sure that it is all done to the best of his abilities and as fast as he can, he isn't one to take short cuts.
Rage: The sight of blood brings out a wild/wickedness that is hidden under his nice and gentle nature. This is something that he would not expect. But once he encountered his first combat experience the sight of rushing blood began to sear into his mind, seemingly breaking the seal that holds his true nature back. After this happens it takes a time for him to cool down, get his thoughts right. During his rage Kimarin tends to stick with Katon type ninjutsu or clan jutsu, depending on what what the situation is.
Appearance:
Kimarin's hair is a dark brown color. He keeps back an in a tight ponytail. He likes it long but when its not up it tends to be a bother for him, t is somewhat shaggy and everywhere, getting in his face and always having to brush or blow it out from in front of him. Kimarin has a strong hair line and no sign of balding.
He has and athletic body type with white skin but a darker tone than normal, years of spending in the woods and mines have left it somewhat weathered and tan. When he takes off his shirt there is a defined line of light and dark, a bad case of farmers tan. The colors clash around where his T-shir and shorts would end.
On his face are two upside-down triangles that are a dark red on his cheeks. Being a part of the Inuzuka clan they were tatooed on him when he was younger. Other than this, he is somewhat a pretty boy, though he doesn't seem to get many ladies. There are no noticeable scars or wounds. His eyes are a light green and when he smiles he usually tries to hide his teeth, just a habit.
He tends to wear light colored shirts under his combat vest. This color can either be white, green, or blue. He does like to wear a jacket over his vest, nothing special, just something to protect from extreme weather. It is made of leather and goes down to the middle of his thighs. His sword is situated on his back, tilted in such a way that it would be a simple matter to grab it with his right hand. His Stond Village head band is tight on his right arm facing forward so everyone can see.
His pants don't change in style much. Normally they are just plain back and tight to his legs. They are held close to his ankles by white strands of bandage cloth. This is so he wont trip or get tangled up when walking for going through thick brush. On his feet are a pair of plan black sandals with rubber soles.
When he was old enough to get a job, he worked mostly at places of labor. Farmers and woodmen usually could use the help of a healthy young man moving heavy loads and cutting down trees. Sometimes when food was scarce he was invited to hunt and track animals. Ikimari, his dog, was of great use to him during this time, he proved himself more than once. His love for his canine friend developed into an intense passion.
It wasn’t until he was eighteen that his life took a tragic turn. On his way back from a trip to the mines he noticed in the distance a fire was blazing. He quickly ran home, knowing that it was in the same direction of the flames. He made it there just fast enough to pull his father and mother’s body from the building. His father was already dead once he got to him, and his mother was suavely burned. His mother, knowing her time was near, told him that he had a brother and sister that were just a few years older than him. Those where her dieing words.
He quickly made the decision to join the academy, knowing that it was the only way to become strong and smart enough to seek down his lost siblings. He devoted countless hours on training and studying, sure that someday he would track them down. What he would do when he got there, that was still a mystery, he wasn’t sure of their whereabouts or whether he would have to fight them or not. With that in mind he would definitely be ready.
While in the academy, Kimarin made many friends and met a few people that were willing to guide him. Many jutsu came easy to him, but others he struggled with, this is when his friends and mentors came to his side. They spent hours if not days helping. With help he finally made it through the academy at the age twenty, his second try.
Today he is still seeking his brother and sister. When they come up Kimarin will be ready. Meanwhile he is still a Genin of Iwagakure, his duty is to his country first, and if it comes to be that he runs into his siblings, that will be all the better.

Limit: ---.
Animal Training (Canine) 32/125
Rank: "D"
Skill: Skill
Effect: Characters with this skill can train one type of creature to obey simple commands and perform tricks.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Characters with this skill know how to train one type of Creature, but can learn Animal Training multiple times to train other types. A trainer can work with only 3 animals at a time and teach it to follow general orders or perform specific things. They can also eliminate vices, such as those in some horses. It takes 1+1d3 weeks of work to train the creature to follow a simple order or perform a technique, but training for a general order takes three months. raining for a specific trick requires 2+2d4 weeks. At the end of the training time, make a skill check. If successful, the animal learns the order or trick. If the check fails, the animal does not learn the order or trick. Look in Task Skills thread found in the Skills and Traits Index for more information. Each time learned user gets 5 die roll to increase the skill.
Limit: Must know Animal Lore. Must know Animal Empathy 30 or Better.
Lore, Animal (Canine) 33/125
Rank: "E"
Skill: Skill
Effect: This skill enables a character to observe the actions or habitat of an animal and interpret what is going on as well as identifying said animal.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Actions can show how dangerous the creature is, whether it is hungry, protecting its young, or defending a nearby den. Furthermore, careful observation of signs and behaviors can even indicate the location of a water hole, animal herds, predators, or impending danger, such as a forest fire. A successful check means the character understands the basic actions of the creature, as well as the type of creature it is. A character may also imitate the calls and cries of animals that he is reasonably familiar with, based on the knowledge (user must learn per Region). This ability is limited by volume. A successful check means that only Chakra means can distinguish the character's call from that of a true animal. The cry is sufficient to fool animals, perhaps frightening them away or luring them closer. When learning the user must choose per Region and they may only have knowledge of Animals creatures. Each Skill level allows the user knowledge of each Animal category (Example: Novice can identify Common Animals, Master can identify Nearly Impossible Animals) within a region. Each time learned user gets 5 die roll to increase the skill.
Limit: ---
Tracking 29/125
Rank: "D"
Skill: Skill
Effect: Characters use this skill to follow the trail of animals and other persons.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Can be learned by an Animal. Tracking means the user found a trail if they gain the check, while failure means they did not. If user fails this initial skill check, they simply cannot find that particular trail. After finding a trail, further checks may be necessary depending on the situation. Darkness, falling rain/snow, a dust storm, moving from one terrain to another (such as from sand to rock), one trail splitting into 2 or crossing water are examples why a user might need another Tracking check. Look in Task Skills thread found in the Skills and Traits Index for more information. Each time learned user gets 5 die roll to increase the skill.
Limit: ---
Observation 4/125
Rank: "E"
Skill: Skill
Effect: This skill focuses certain powers of observation - sight, smell, hearing, and touch.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Can be learned by an Animal. A failed check indicates that the character is oblivious until the thing is pointed out to him. This skill is important for ferreting out advancing enemies or ambushes, generally real-time events and actions occurring, versus scrutiny, which covers static objects or areas. A Game Master may roll an Observation skill check for a Character any time there is an NPC, monster, event or happening that a character might notice, even if he did not specifically state that he is monitoring his surroundings. Characters are capable of noticing any event within their perception. Observation reveals only facts, not motivation. If user has 25 or more Ranks in Evidence Analysis user gains a Synergy Bonus +10 to Observation. Each time learned user gets 1 die roll to increase the skill.
