Ah the thrill of a shinobi's first mission. While it may not be one of glory or necessarily much pay, it leaves a lasting impression on each and every Genin that take their first steps on the shinobi path. Ishin was taking these first steps upon entering Yozamu to find a missing child of an important family from the Land of Fire. Needless to say he couldn't afford any screw ups, especially since the outcome of this mission would determine if he was of any use to his village or not. With all of the excitement rushing through his mind, Ishin took to the rooftops to find the young child in this large city.
He stood atop a tower, that was bathed in the glow of sunlight, feeling the crisp and cold air brush upon his body as he looked below the snow covered streets. From all the way up there he could see almost everything from the people shuffling through the streets to get a piping hot meal and bask in the warmth that they each bring, all the way don't to those that walk alone in the alleyways who take comfort in what little company they could find. Ishin shook his head, he was getting distracted, he had to find that kid, for all he knew he could be freezing in this weather. He started to focus more on the description that he was given when he left the castle, a small boy with brown hair and slate colored eyes who wears a light green robe. After giving it some thought he figured that the boy must be in one of the restaurant on the street below, since he was from Konoha he wouldn't be used to the cold air of the air and would thus seek a place of warmth and somewhere he could eat at the same time.
Ishin made his way down to the streets below him and started entering restaurant after restaurant, asking them if they've seen a small boy matching the description that he gave them. Nearly all of them said no, however a few of them remembered seeing such a child walking around before pointing them to an inn where he could rest. Ishin made his way to the inn and asked about the child, the woman at the desk was naturally suspicious at first until Ishin explained why he was looking for him. She pointed him to the back, saying that he was in the middle of eating his dinner.
He chuckled at first before purchasing a blanket and heading into the back room "Young master Jacobo" he said with a gentle tone in his voice "I'm a shinobi of Yukigakure, your parents sent me to bring you back to them safely." The young boy looked up with a slightly messy face, surprised from the sudden arrival "P-prove it!" he said shakingly. Ishin reached into his pouch while chuckling at the child who was brandishing his eating utensils as weapons. He took out the approved scroll that was given to him and handed it to the boy "Don't worry on our way back I'll get you something hot for the journey back. Don't worry we'll be back before you know it."
Young Jacobo hesitantly took the scroll and read it, realizing that Ishin wasn't the threat that he though he was at first "A-alright just take me back home..."
Before leaving Yozamu, Ishin bought Jacobo a steaming bowl of Mizutaki for the journey back, and after making sure that the blanket was wrapped around the small boy like a makeshift cloak, they made their way back to Yukigakure with Ishin carrying Jacobo on his back whenever the child's legs were tired.
