Asko moved from mangled tree to mangled tree through the forest that bordered the country of Sound along with many others. All the woods in the countries seemed to look the same, but not to her. Ramos' sense of smell could pick up the smallest trace of human or animal and track them to their origination. Ramos was running along the ground underneath her, as usual, the trees were not a place for a wolf to be as he was not a cat. nor even cat-like. The sword on Asko's back, the Wolf's Fury, was signature to two clans.
Both Ookami and some Han Urufu took use of this elemental blade. It was her trusted weapon in any fight that she might come across. She was headed towards the Stone. Through her time near the Sound village she had heard rumors of an uprising or attack. Nothing at all was too clear, but it was enough to take interest in.
She planned on heading there and looked for a simple job as a mercenary. Nothing more or less. Joining a village might be okay, but it was nothing she planned on. Her thoughts cast back and forth between what she might do as a job, which she did need a job. Being a mercenary for a couple of rebels wouldn't be too bad, in fact it would be a great job.
She continued through the woods. This wood was only slightly different than the Leaf's. Less green plants and less animal life. It was more dead and unwelcoming than anything else. Ramos looked up at her as he moved along at the same speed, staying just behind her.
"Asko, are you sure this is a good choice?" he said telekinetically. He had a look of untrusting in his eyes as she looked down at him, her eyes meeting his.
"Yes, I'm sure. We cannot just lay low forever, and we need a job." She turned her head to continue to look straight ahead.
"Still, when laying low we have little chance of being mamed and killed."
She chuckled as she continued to move along, leaving Sound country and heading through the enxt one. "Yes, but there is no pleasure in life without a little risk." She paused for a moment and smirked. "It's like the boy who asked why people had to die, and the wise man answered to make life important. Nothing is worth anything unless you know what the lack of the thing is. You never appreciate food unless you get hungry."
He frowned and leapt over a large log that was in his way, his white fur rippling a bit in the wind as they went.
