The Kamyuja felt her body decelerate suddenly. The brightness flashed and faded, spitting her out onto a stone slab of ground. She tumbled, landing against something sharp in the small of her back. Wincing, she looked up to see the vortex, spiralling in the air five feet above her. She rolled over onto her stomach, propped herself up on her elbows, and scanned her surroundings. No sign of her opponent at all, she tried to get up to run, do a cursory search, but her trembling legs gave out beneath her and she fell. A flash of brightness pulled her spotted attention back to the vortex which hovered on the other side of where she laid, a distance of approximately seventy-five meters, and at opposite ends. A figure appeared in the brightness. Then, a male. Dazed, her head feeling more like a pillow than a place with a working brain, Vasha crawled toward the edge of her stone boundaries. However, gave pause when the ground began to glow a dull light. It spotlighted her visual which was now clearing, and as she turned her head to look around her, she realised that nothing was the same as before. No sand. No coliseum. But, ruins. Neglected stone walls, piers speckled loosely around her, and the area. Another old worldly treasure. Darkness befallen in the distance, pass the shattered yet still standing pillars, and beyond that, she could see nothing. Before her, she looked down. Into a pool of glowing light, water. She lowered her hand into the coolness and noted that it was real and not an illusion. Butterflies were now dancing in the pit of her stomach. Shakily she rose to her knees, holding her stomach. And then she looked up to where the stranger was and spoke to him. “You alive?” she asked spiritedly. “If so, I can fix that.” The Kamyuja rose to her feet, swayed and looked down at the water which was a step away from being stood upon. As she crossed through time and space, her clothing remained moderately unaltered; a casual school girl costume, a horrifying short green creased skirt and a dull blue-green coat covering her white blouse. She lifted her right hand and touched her weapons. Tanto at her waist, Mateki within her coat. Butt back on her right buttock. She reached over and lifted the flap. Inside she recounted for the third time: Binoculars which house condition viewing, night-vision, thermal vision, x-ray vision and zooming vision with the limit of twenty meters. In another opening within the same pack are her [x77] seventy-seven darts, [x77] seventy-seven hira-shuriken, and [x64] sixty-four caltrops. And then lastly, two Gauntlets glimmered over her knuckles. On her feet, her dark Uwabaki shoes survived her freefall. Good. Now, until further notice, she lowered into a few stretches, as yet contemplating her appearance in the water, and prepared herself. One side trunk, then another. One side lunge, then a second, a mirror image of the first lunge. A few wrist flexion and wrist extensions, that including a shoulder overhead and shoulder posterior and then she felt ready. Now, Vasha was going to allow him the first move. ‘Ladies first?’ Hell no. She was not suicidal. However, she thought, staring up at the male, if we cannot make a decision, then Rock-paper-scissors will have to do. She thought soundlessly, suddenly serious. Enter. The very fabric of time and space had twisted before the trio again. The phenomena seldom occurred but this was perhaps the... fifth time, and only the second in which god like beings were on one side. You could perhaps say that they weren't rattled at all. At least, not by the the travel. It was still most uncomfortable, probably exaggerated by thier shrunken child-like body. Curses. The fake had to regress them just before something like this?

Ejection from the warp was quick, with Akai flipping once though the air before landing lightly on his feet as if the now young Akumu had planned this all along. Thier clothing and belongs likewise clung undisturbed to thier body. But to be sure, it was checked. Aclime had to be sure after all. Their right arm, a Damascus steel gauntlet clasped thier arm down to the forearm, almost reaching the elbow. On the right arm a gray steel gauntlet wrapped and protected it, doubling as a weapon due to it sharp clawed finger tips. As before Tenkyo Buryoku clasped on his back, handle up. Kyuushi hugged his left hip, emitting a soft hum announcing its presence. Silently, the dormant short sword tokehaga clasped his right hip. One day, he would unravel its secrets just like his friend had.


In his right pouch, Aclime had 8 doses of red leaves of the sinquoia tree and 2 doses of wizards temptation. He wondered why Akai had suddenly passed the way he had. The Akumu couldn't identify them. It made the kamyuja inwardly laugh but considering thier predicament, it was short lived. But, there was still the 30 hira shuriken, 3 blood clot pills, 3 soldier pills. His left butt bag housed 4 kunai, 1 knife, 40 exploding tags, and 32 makibishi. Yup, all there.

He ruffled thier hair slicking the silvery locks from his vision before adjusting his clothing. Of the clothing to endure, his usual brown hakama were too big for him now, so they were replaced with white pants, though iron banded grieves were worn over the shins with a cup over the knee and thin strips over the toes for protection without hindered mobility. On his chest was a long black patterned silk shirt that resembled a demons face trailing slightly behind him. Over that was a white leather tactical vest covering all but the face pattern trailing behind like a short tail. Over that, a white hiaori draped open with blue and black trimming along the hem and sleeves. Once upon a time this would have been hip level but it now came to his thighs. On his neck lay a chain displaying a dragon shaped sapphire, a comforting keepsake.


Shaking his sense of unease, Aclime looked around. He didn't like where they were. It was another set of ruins, but the location seemed to belong to... Not humans? Was that too far of a stretch with gods appearing before them again? Voices could be heard, inhuman ones with inhuman languages. He tried to figure them out not because he had to, or even because they interested him. Rather, it'd make him feel more secure in his own skin. It failed completely.

However, he was able to locate his opponent, the female who was present. He looked down at his feet unsure and weary of the blue sphere before back at the girl that showed concern for him. Thier eyes turned a blood red before a grin appeared. Both faded to reveal the colorless pupils which dilated under the contrasting light.

"You know, you should worry about yourself miss. Usually part of me won't kill without being forced. But my hands are tied. You should just try to survive."


Yes, his hands were tied by the tension of kill or be killed. And yet... with a troubled tone, he asked "So what is your name? I may be the last to hear it." Even as he asked that, calling over the vast empty space, he was studying her. She was very attractive, not that it changed anything. From her stretches and equipment, it seemed that she might fight with taijutsu. Watching her stretch for that minute or so he'd try to estimate her level of strength in order to try and gauge her ability (rank check, very difficult) if she were very strong, Akai would probably return.

Other things he wanted to try and determine for himself. The floor. What kind of material was this? Would it break easily? There was that sphere beneath them. He tapped and then stomped his foot like something was stuck to it. What he was listening for was the sound. Did it sound solid... or hollow (obsevation check)? Guagh! His mind was racing. Oh wait. Reaching into a pouch he pulled out a piece of wizards temptation and began to munch on it. And then held a sinquoia leaf between his fingers. Once these kicked in, surely, he'd feel better... or not. He'probably overthink and worry again.

Remain calm. We'll swap as needed. You'll be fine.

For example, if a User watched a man cutting wood for an hour, he could make a Know Ability Skill check. If successful he could learn that the man has a Carpentry Skill, can perform an amount of Movements per Round, or anything pertaining to the work they are performing. The user can apply this skill to nearly all statuses and abilities, as well as Skill Level Associated with a character. Look in Academia Skills thread found in the Skills and Traits Index for more information. If user has 25 or more Ranks in Evidence Analysis user gains a Synergy Bonus +10 to Know Ability By Observing for 1 hour this is considered as a Trivial Difficulty. Shorter the observation increases the difficulty. Each time learned user gets 1 die roll to increase the skill.

Tournament Stage 4

The ancient humming would continue giving the area an eerie feel. These two titans were by far the most powerful of the group, chosen by the God of Battle and the God of Strength. Xikdite and Ombus were veterans of battle, more so than any other Gods so the selection of the most powerful of opponents was a given, but were they the strongest? Power was not always an indication of strength, even the weakest of men with the right plan and strategy could defeat much stronger opponents. Brazen as these two were, the time for talking was drawing too a close. Battle was upon them.

Rune - not hiding anything in regard to the floor so no observation check or evidence check is necessary, it's just old stone blessed with an unusual magic to make it glow when people are near. Solid, underneath the stone is hard earth and if broken darkness will descend upon the area.

The stage sparkled and gleamed. It was stone that seemed as though it had been blessed by the moon a patch of planet stripped of all warmness, peeled back to the bone so that the ground felt cold to the touch. Dialects whispered in tongues rather obscure and after that vanished when her attention scored the only other visible figure standing seventy-four meters or so before her. Everything seemed bitterly cold as she slammed shut her door to emotions and a conscience. And then she felt a stirring from around her neck as her rosary woken with a whisper only the female could hear. C'mon, c'mon, I dare you to inspire me. "Shut. Up. Akivasha." Honey, all that I’m suggesting is that you’ll soon go out in style. Tick tock, tick tock, you are just wasting your time, he aren't going to make the first move. “Heedlessness could pretty much get us murdered you moron.” Now, now Vasha, if I were in control of this body, I’ll be rolling my eyes. After all, I know what you are thinking: let’s give this male one last breath, one slow death. Say a prayer while you’re laying there motionless. I cross my heart; I hope you die. No? Well how about this? Dearly departed, we’re just getting started? "Shut. Up. Akivasha." Gracious, still not good enough huh? C'mon, they deem us powerless and weak right from the start! Those cowards leave their imprint upon us! It's the divine beings watching us that are making you so reluctant. They are fixated on bringing down our name! “Under pressure, out of options.” And were up against the odds. But were too strong and we won’t fall! ALL RIGHT BOY! GIMME EVERYTHING YOU GOT! No Rock-paper-scissors, shamelessly Vasha awakened her powers and permitted them to do their thing. She was that enraged, she couldn't have cared less whether it was too soon or not, her temper constantly made her wild. And so as the colours withered and the shadows deepened, the lavender eyes of Vasha’s regarded the stranger with perilous thought. He appeared a teen who claimed to have numerous abilities, clearly, for he wore a few sorts of weapons. A steel gauntlet up his right arm practically achieving his elbow. A weapon fastened on his back, handle up. Another embraced his left. He was locked and loaded. The Kamyuja even considered his butt pack would also be stacked too. In any case, Vasha was not one to depend on initial introductions. Thus she pondered. What ranges was he able of preforming? With what extents would he say he was OK with? How solid are his procedures? Vasha brought forth an arrangement, one which may change after some time, and was considering the options but ultimately choosing against them, in which in the end she would see what this male was prepared and capable of doing. Preforming the hand seals on display, the air situated around the male's head was transformed by Vasha's Sution talent. Her eyes would stay on her foe and a calm expression formulated her features until she appeared as though she wasn't even blinking. Her hands were occupied with holding a seal. She was quiet in spite of the furious storm inside of her. As a rise of water immediately defined around the head of the silver haired teen, she would bolt her knees together and examined him eagerly to discover more about him. Her rage was constant yet however, managed and bubbling below the surface. Her lavender eyes never missed anything. Vasha remained there, gazing at him, all the while testing him whether he would be the type to hesitate and freeze, or on the off chance that he thought things through. All the while, she was detailing another move, detecting this gentleman would not go down this easy. Intentionally, she was utilizing her weak assaults. Vasha knew stronger, more powerful ones, ones that could level and decimate the battlefield and everything around it, however she would spare those for some other time. Vasha had her suspicions, and at the current moment, she was simply testing the waters – in a manner of speaking. All things considered, the female Kamyuja wanted to know the male's shortcomings before she crushed him. She wanted to know everything about him, his strengths not only his weakness. That way, if she did prove to be successful, she might be merciful and give this male a quick death. Anything to displease the god’s watching this match. No, Vasha won't be the first to demonstrate her best cards, it will be him. “Oh pardon me, I’m Vasha, your opponent. Aclime served another task as well. To open the gateway of eternal chaos. This he did after inspecting the floor. It seemed breakable enough, but solid.  However looking at the glowing sphere, it seemed like if he broke it, darkness would decend. More importantly, the more peculiar thing was his opponent. He already estimated her level of strength, but now he could quite literally see it. The aura of her body had an immense size but a dim radiance that he was familiar with. To be exact, it reminded him... of himself. Odd. But from that, he knew at least 2 things about her. First, while she probably had a strong specialization in some form of ninjutsu or genjutsu, the hindered glow of her aura said that shed likely be as skilled in taijusu. But the more iconic truth was... this girl... was a monster... just like them. This was just... perf-

Cool it.Complex arm motions formed a set of gestures that looked like a ritualistic prayer. Still chewing on the wizards temptation that Aclime had started, Gekkido leaned forward at the same time, taking a huge breath in preparation of a lunge. Unbeknownst to thier fellow monster like existence, he'd just began a series of buff like abilities.

However just upon finishing the gestures the girl formed a set of handseals. He read their design as well as the make of the chakra via elemenal sense (difficult chakra lore check as well). Suiton? Immediately, water incased his head. He knew not to breath. And seeing the girl holding the seal brought him relief, as it was easy to guess that she had to continue doing such. Why else would one keep the seal held?

Oh well. They could hold thier breath for a while, longer if they didn't make too many sudden movements. At that point, the buffs all kicked in. There was no reason to exhert themself running. Thier soul simply sprouted wings of seraphic origin which lifted them from the ground as they pushed forward. As they floated forward at a moderate speed, another granted him lowlight and dark vision while yet another gifted thier soul with invulnerability to movement impairment and then fear.

These motions were all performed while they floated 30 meters forward, blatantly unconcealed, unenthused, for great reason. A tournament was hosted by gods to see who is the strongest. This persons power was comparable to the strongest they'd seen since Ziro kamyuja, a man that was a true monster of power in thier younger days. They knew she had to have some sort of talent in taijutsu and yet, her plan was to feel them out like this? They were being looked down on. Did she think herself at such an advantage that she had resources to spare? Or perhaps she intended them to waste valuable time and effort when there was flesh to cut? The Akumu couldn't quite tell, so it was Gekkido who finally paused.


With a final gesture thier soul sped up granting them speed which was carefully hidden. This caused thier body to glow an otherworldly bluish tint. As their momentum slowed, thier feet touched the ground again from thier hover a few inches from it. Head tilted sideway, the leaf clad arm folded agianst thier left hip unimpressed as if to say 'Is that all'.  An intimidation factor clung to the air as their black darkened eyes stared forward, casting judgement.  She would receive nothing, but they were ready now. They were 44 meters apart now, head still encased in water, but apparently unphased.

He’s watching us like a hawk. This is not what I was expecting… Vasha ignored the feeling of ‘knowing him from somewhere’. The feeling of something familiar yet out of reach. And I don’t believe in coincidences but doesn’t this seem odd? Vasha continued to observe her opponent. In fact, she didn’t do much but that, with her hands locked in a seal, it left her short to do other things. But as she was analysing her foe, her facial features immediately switched from calm to a frown as she struggled to see what the hand seals he had suddenly begun preforming. Complex and unknown to her, she clenched her teeth and hissed with annoyance. Now however, instinct and comprehension went comparable ways and she knew that this male was completing something she doesn't know in knowledge. Well that pisses me off! And what the hell is he chewing on?! He should have eaten something before entering this competition! Just as she mentally spoke those words to Akivasha, Vasha felt her leg muscles dance with tension as he abruptly flew forward unexpectedly. With his head still encased in water yet regardless of how nerving that may be to him, his reaction was rather calm. Well that addressed her testing strategies: he functions well under pressure. And so those complex seals he shaped permitted him to do a cluster of things. Moving without leg development was one of them. What's more, with this obscure jutsu, Vasha was pondering what else he could do which made him so very different yet the same. He is much similar to us, it is unnerving. Perhaps we ought to end this urgently. I am getting uneasy. He didn't utilize a bard technique to suspend and float. This is something else. And we should know, we know a bard technique that permits us to fly. He didn't perform them. His speed movements were moderate, yet what made her uneasy was the fact that as she held the seal, he drew nearer and the realisation possibly hit. Does he prefer close combat? She covered up her concern with a sly remark. "Goodness look Akivasha, he is gliding toward us. I guess he really wants to die. Hey, hold up a moment! He didn't give us his name!" She snarled. Simply then his momentum slowed, and when his feet hit the ground, he posed. With a low, venomous hiss, annoying with his actions, the female Kamyuja wasn’t going to allow that to slide. Having an average capability in singing abilities, she started to sing through clenched teeth, "Fly little birdy, fly, fly, fly..." Vasha's voice appeared to be forced due to mood, however abnormally it held a raw beauty to it as she glided herself upward. More graceful than that of her adversary, obviously, considering she's a woman and women are graceful. "Take me high, so I can help him die… " Closing the separation to no less than 10 meters, her feet would touch down silently. Although she was careful not to remove her hands from the hand seal holding the water bubble around his head. Her lavender eyes respected him coolly. Vasha's voice all of a sudden turned velvet while she smiled a small humourless quirk that bought a distinctively cruel gleam to her mouth. “You obviously have never learned manners. And what ‘s up with such a feminine pose? It is insulting. Your name boy, so when I bury you six feet under, I’ll know what to write on your headstone!” Just then she discharged her hands and permitted them to define new seals. As the water would seemly fall from around his head, a precise reproduction of herself appeared to one side (left) framing hand seals as it did so. Within a brief second, a 6-foot dart-like spear would crystallize up along the right arm of the clone, pointing at the tip, jagged and sharp. And then not even when the crystallization was even complete, the clone would all of a sudden dashed forward at full charge. Vasha however started a chain of hand seals herself before tossing one hand up into the now-stormy sky. As the clone achieved its 7 feet mark from the boy, it would thrust its dart-like arm forward with intentions in skewering the kid in the mid-section, hopefully pinning him to the ground. Just as the clone was making its strike, Vasha called down the lighting from the sky. Should her arrangement be effective, Vasha’s clone would have hopefully stabbed, if not distracted the boy long enough for Vasha to hit him with the Raiton bolt, using the water which doused him from head to shoulders as a conductor. The kid would be shocked if both assaults were successful. Akai remained displeased. She was mocking them with the conversation, knowing they couldn't talk, that is, unless she undid her seal. She had closed the distance down willingly. Did she have a plan, or was she that overwhelmingly confident in close range like them? Like them, she too was flying. Giving the agitated melody she used before hand, they could only guess it was a bard technique. Well then, they'd keep that in mind, as she could use chakra without her hands or seals. Furthermore, since there was no sound release, they could not read the formation of the chakra or its purpose. So then, a form of potentially unpredictable attack?

It seemed she was copying him somehow in a different manner, or perhaps they were just too similar. Interesting.

Impudent girl. Can you bind her?

You're asking me for help? Give me time. Now is not right.

The girl was right before them. She would make this far too easy. The moment the girl released her seal, Akai grabbed the handle at his waist and transfered chakra into it as he unsheathed with his right hand. At the same time time, the girl formed the infamous shadow clone seal, a technique which they were intimately familiar with.

Side by side before him, both performed handseals but only one rushed forward. The one charging would likely be using a short range projectile or hybrid melee attack. This one was the clone. The one behind was thier target. She had done nothing crafty or deceptive to mask her intents so that took no time to think.

Suddenly, the charging clone lunged out in a thrust just as a spear like weapon began forming from her arm. She was outside thier direct striking range, unless he moved, so it was time to strike before she could gain control over the melee range. Akai chose this time to both evade and counter with a quick, fluid, and deadly series of thrusts as he stepped forward 2 meters slightly left. That put him in range with Kyuushi's tip just as he twisted his body away from the polearm causing it to glide past his mid section harmlessly.

Accounting for a second attacker, he delivered four lightning quick thrusts targeting two pressure points in the pelvis and diaphram. Given the timing of her lunge and forward momentum, evasion should be near impossible for the clone. In the off chance the attack didn't kill it near immediately, the two attacks to the pelvis would have pierced with a sonic frequency that cut flesh and bone alike, disabling the legs while the thrusts to the diaphragm would puncture it like a balloon. A normal person would blead out quickly from either injury, so he shifted his attention back to the real girl near 8 meters in front of him.

His counter attack, only partially finished, spanned less than a second with his heightened speed. It was at that point the sky darkened and a volt of lightning descended upon him. In order to confuse his target, the Akumu used the afterimage technique to leave the image as a distraction, buying him time as he blinked over to the right, appearing 2 meters behind her. Soon it'd be time to close the snair.


For now, with god-like speed, he pushed on the tsuba of the weighty katana, sheathing it at such speed as to generate an ear stunning sonic boom upon the click of sheathing. At this range, she could not prevent it. If the sound reached her, she'd find her auditory nerve greatly affected, causing a stunning affect within her body that would last for at least 6 seconds. During that time... a series of handseals formed. Still chewing the herb, it seemed that would take some time for effect.


"Akai Akumu? Aclime Kamyuja? Gekkido Runeska? Pick a name and drag it to hell with you. We'll see you eventually!" he snarled with a coldly venomous voice, clearly not the same softer spoken boy from moments ago.

Fuck was the only word that came immediately to mind, and even that didn’t really encompass the shitload of trouble that had just raised its ugly head. She was so stupid, playing when she ought to be serious. In the end, she had overestimated him and that irritated her unconditionally. She wasn't going to stand for it, and so she reached for her rage. Invited it, swam in it for now it was time to become badass. It was time for this to come to an end. In the wake of watching the clone demise by the kid's brisk strikes, he saw directly through Vasha's plan and had as of now counterattacked her second assault. The after image stood out like a sore thumb as the lighting obscured around the edges as it struck the ground where he once stood. The minute the kid vanished, chakra was being accumulated straight to Vasha's throat and right hand as frenzy, anger and conceivable craziness swelled up inside of her mid-section, going with the fury that was working alongside the chakra within her. Vasha turned around swiftly and opened her mouth to let out an ear-splitting scream just as Akai reappeared behind her . The scream itself was sharp to the point that anybody within close distance to her would presumably have ruptured eardrums. "GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME!!" The frequency of the scream itself, bound finely with chakra made three vast sickle-like waves that extended out in a sweep of 10 meters. Akai was less than that, way less than that ; his 2 meter imprint was going to slice him up good. Just then, her eyes transformed from a splendid lavender to an unlimited black as her voice faded away. By then the sickles would be moving around the area, giving Akai little time to move because of his close proximately of 2 meters. "YOU FUCKING BASTARD! How could YOU Assault A Woman!" Vasha screamed, her right hand shining an effective blue shading. The chakra stretched into an extensive sharp edge as Vasha charged forward and drove her right hand – chakra scalpel included – straight into Akai's upper mid-section just underneath the left collarbone. The surgical blade, - if connected – would drive into Akai's mid-section and Vasha would tear her hand pointedly toward the left, dragging the scalpel across his upper chest, tearing it open and slicing through the highest point of his sternum. With her aided strength via her Kamyuja lineage, the power of these assaults would be extraordinarily painful and not to mention difficult to withstand for any typical individual. Instantly, she would withdraw the blade and thrust forward again, driving the scalpel back into his chest before kicking out at him. "I couldn't care less what your name is, you never. Assault. A. Woman!" Vasha snapped intensely, failing to remember that she asked for his name in the first place. As I read I find that both Rune's 'Keihatsu Ryuu: Ryūmeisen' and Sita's 'Katto Serena-do (Cutting Serenade)' take effect simultaneously. Rune is struck by the serenade and takes 40 armour points of what I believe to be slashing damage if I'm reading the technique correctly however I rule that Sita is struck by the quoted technique below and is now stunned by the attack, taking 40 points of sound damage herself in the process. All in all, damage is done to both parties but Vasha comes off second best.

Description: An unusual technique in which one uses the godspeed of Battōjutsu to sheathe the sword rather than to draw it in a practice known as Shinsoku Nōtōjutsu (God-speed Sheathing). The speed and force creates a miniature sonic boom that can be used to temporarily stun opponents with particularly sensitive or acute hearing by affecting their auditory nerves. This technique takes up no movements. Any opponent within 5 meters of the user will become stunned for 1d4 rounds. Any opponent passed the first section whom are within 5 meters will become stunned for 1 round.
Limit: Must learn from a Master of Busōsen (Arms Flash). Must know Keihatsu Ryuu: Battōjutsu (Art of Drawing the Blade).

What was that, a miscalculation? Maybe, or maybe not. Risks had to be taken. The shadow clone was dead. With it went half of his prey's resources. But then, there was that unknown element. Right. Gekkido had noted that sonar attacks could occur, and worse still, without warning. So, was Akai playing risky by coming this close? Yes. However it did pay off, if only a little.


See, the moment Akai appeared, she knew where he was and launched one of her surprise sonar attacks. An ear splitting sound cut through the air as if to cut his hearing off, but under chaos, 50% of any damage he could receive would be cut in half. His ears rang painful from sheer force of shouting and proximity, but failed to rupture. It failed to stop him from sheathing his sword.


However something disgraceful occurred. Their opponent drew first blood. Perhaps the real purpose behind the shout was the blades that struck him at that instant. They slashed into his chest, tearing into his vest and flesh. He winced slightly, mostly from surprise. The attack hadn't targeted anything exclusively lethal, and the damage was low, considering Aclime's eternal chaos cutting damage against him in half. Not good enough. They would bear this pain and stick to the plan as much as possible


The attack had delayed them a little durring the switch, forcing him to start his handseals over. However, she was stunned, and the advantage was thiers. Gekkido finished his handseals as planned, unleashing his planned assault to seal her moves away. Hundreds, maybe a thousand of blue like petals formed around him within 3 meters. She couldn't avoid them either, as they basically formed around her, saturating the air between them due to sheer mass of quantity.


But with the petals there and she stunned if only temporary, he took to perform the next part of his plan. Controlling the sakurai petals, they left him to surround her fallen form, swirling around and rising up to imprison her in a sphere, if one didn't count the ground beneath her. During that time Gekkido formed a long stream of handeals. Upon completion, the hundreds of cherry blossoms would empower themselves so that each petal could give out strong shocks (c) in addition to burns when contact was made. Using every petal at his disposal, he would overwhelm her, crashing the entire mass upon her in staggered remnants that covered the majority of her body.


Initially, if she had means to mitigate damage, it wouldn't seem like much. But given a few seconds a thousand individual shocks of electricity would heat the air around her enough that the skin on her body would become scorched. Her body would become paralyzed as the excessive electricity would override natural synaptic response, leaving her numb all over. If it failed to kill her, she'd likely be crippled if only for a while. Yet… yet… why was he so uncertain, so… tense?

It was those eyes. He saw them. They were like their's. He didn't know if she were actually negating damage, or just the pain. Negating some of the damage might mean she could survive the attack. However, negating the pain meant that even if the attack would kill her, it might not do it now, meaning she could counter attack before death. For now, he formed a quick set of seals, performing a technique that would steal the girl's voice. If she died, she'd do so silently. If she lived, perhaps there wouldn't be another surprise attack.

If Gekkido were attacked in between his techniques with a ranged attack, he would pause his handseals in order to shunshin out the way 10 meters landing off the glowing sphere and into the darkness where visibility would be worse. If somehow he were attacked in close range, around the time the opponent got close to him, he would evade, performing a spiralling lunge forward either over the attack or beneath it. As he twisted in the air, he'd unsheath and slash in one motion, performing a powerful cross body slash that would cut diagonally upwards cutting one arm near the shoulder. If it connected the opponents gut would be cut open and arm decapitated.

All that’s happened after learning the second version of this jutsu is that the time constraint drawback is removed. Field of vision is also blurred if field control is not learnt due to the incredible amount of sakurai petals.
Description: With additional training with the sakurai no jutsu the user is able to increase the amount of sakurai petals they can create upon casting the Sakurai no Jutsu to almost double what they were able to create upon first learning the jutsu. Description: Using the knowledge of the Sakurai Ran the user takes the concept and blows it up with every Sakurai in the users arsenal. The technique itself makes it so that each blow gives the same power as the original technique but increases the general range of it. The range of this attack is equivalent to the range achieved through training the sakurai attack (Original range was 15 meters). Each petal gives a C rank amount of damage so a beam like bullet storm of these can rack up the damage quite easily and cause a burn every time one touches a foe. Petals travel at 40 mph and when they hit the petals burn out and lose their charge.

He neglected to kill her, yet with such pity, she knew she was history. She needed to let him know something. Something like don't battle for the gods… the rats don't merit the fulfillment of seeing us. The frail, bite the dust so they can rule. Then again… Something to that effect. In any case, generally as she was going to attempt and make a sentence, she thought that it was inconceivable. Should I plead? NO! I fought. I met new individuals – I will show and appear brave. Her black eyes never left his face. There was no more scorn in them. Beyond any doubt there was torment, yet all else feeling appeared to have died. She was going to die. Vasha closed her bruised eyes, and sat tight for the dimness to take her. What expression did Gekkido make? Was he overjoyed that they'd won? Perhaps relieved to have triumphed? No. As Gekkido watched thier opponent breath thier last breath, his expression remained stone faced, conflicted. Its not like he was to judge. It's not as if he were shovenistic, but that was a beautiful girl he just killed. How many people back home would miss her? She came with Rosalie, so its no doubt people would miss her.


And yet, Gekkido was not allowed to harbor those feelings, as he simply did what he had to to survive. Akai surprisingly held a lot of regret. This encounter was rare. He felt their opponent was a kindred spirit, one that could have kept pace with him not because of something simple like similar classes of strength, but similar ways of thought or behavior. Basically, they were monsters in spirit and body. He may never find another like this girl. But what was the root of this regret? Did he simply want to continue thier fight, or was he attracted her, if that were even possible. Channeling a bit of chakra over his hands, Aclime healed thier chest wound, knowing it would probably not be thier last.

Realizing that the others would likely not take action at this point, Gekkido did. Performing a set of handseals, he used the anbu body conservation technique. She was a worthy opponent, and despite the electrical burns, her entire body was in tact. She was a worthy opponent, deserving respect even in death. Picking up the still warm body, he would wait for the gods to announce the victor and open the warp to bring him back.

"Great Goddess Soppuna of Governance, I wish to take my opponent back with me. Even if she represents a different God, should I win, she was still a worthy opponent and deserves her respects. This is no problem, right?"

Drawback: This shell lasts only three days, and cannot be placed on a body more than once.
Description: After the Shinobi Hunter has killed a victim, sometimes they are needed to bring a body back for proof of death or preservation of bloodlines, etc. Using this technique, the user will coat a dead body in a shell of chakra that prevents that chemicals within the body from reacting with the air and causing decomposition. This shell will last for a total of three days, thus preventing the beginning of decomposition for three days, which can rapidly increase the amount of time a body has to be identified before it becomes decomposed.

Victory

Victory was achieved at long last. As Aclime stood over the dying Kamyuja known as Vasha the fallen's heart would beat its final thump and then, in that moment, before the victor would appear a portal of twisting energy and purple light. It was easily recognisable as the portal that had brought the Champions to their specified locations so it was easily concluded that this portal would allow for passage into the next. Despite the victory the Gods would stay ever quiet, spectating, but oh so silent. There were no words of praise, no pats on the back, no nothing like that. IN this place, in this battlefield, there was one thing and one thing alone. The next fight. This was a war, a war of the Gods and the portal before the victor was merely the gateway to the next war zone.
