Tournament Semi's 2

The second semifinal stage for the tournament. Reserved for Aclime Kamyuja Akumu and Ryuusei Sai, it features a circular marble platform fifty meters in diameter standing two meters above another lower level of sixty meters in diameter, which is itself standing two meters above another lower level of seventy meters in diameter which stands two hundred meters above the ground. Four small bridges connect this 'stage' to the grand stands made of the same marble as the stage. High up in the sky the air here is rather thin however it is still breathable. The sun hangs high in the sky, appearing to be midday. No matter how much time passes the sun never moves from its position.

Both opponents would appear before each other at opposite sides of the field. They would find their wounds some how healed, they would find their energy levels somehow restored. By the power of Sopuna, the Goddess of Governance, she restored their abilities to ensure a clean and fair fight. A fight for the Gods.

Half expecting a resting room, half expecting another arena, the victorious warrior stepped out of the light. Opening his eyes, Sai saw that it was the latter. However, he felt that the energies he had spent on the last battle were returning to him, both chakra and soul. This new information proved that the Gods were not too relentless. He also now felt that he could safely assume he would be able to go all out without having to worry about future battles.

Now he went over another equipment check. His Rumble Regalia and greaves were equipped as they were in the last battle. What was contained in his vest and belt had not changed either. He had 3 blood clot pills, 1 soldier pill, 16 kunai, 10 shuriken, 10 explosion tags, 3 lightning tags, 3 ice tags, a smoke pouch, an incendiary grenade, a gas mask in them. Holstered at his right side would be a tower shield reinforced large umbrella he deemed Rasen, equipped with 20 senbon, and his trusted katana, Shoujin.

As his opponent had not arrived yet, he took a careful look around the arena for this battle. The first thing he noticed was the bright sunlight and the different in oxygen from where he had been before. The sun was high up in the air and it seemed that this platform was placed at a height well above sea level. He took several slow and deep breaths. It was not the first time he had fought at such a height and he had scaled mountains before so this was a familiar situation. The arena felt similar to the last one, though with more fighting room on ground, with levels below as well. While waiting for his opponent, he looked to see if there was anything else special about the arena. The building that was between the bridge and the arena caught his eye but he doubted it would be part of the battle he was in for. There was naught but to be patient now.

The portal seemed far more civil than the first. Yes, it had indeed created a loud roaring sound as its energy tore through the current time space. However, quite gently it allowed him to step foot of his surroundings. He observed but found no one present yet. So they'd arrived first? Well he took advantage of the spare time to set Akivashas body far outside the range of where he figured he'd be fighting choosing to place her at the top of the furthest stands to his back.


To return, he bulk jumped, landing down the stands before making a final jump that landed him back in the raised platform. There he would have waited, still chewing the wizard's temptation, only that his opponent was now here. For how long, he didn't know. So then, it would soon be thier chance to do battle. Oddly, the energy they'd rationed off had replenished, and their wounds healed better than with chakra.

Gekkido frowned with uncertainty. The gods were very generous sadists today, weren't they? They went out of their way to make sure every champion remained in optimum condition instead of letting them manage themselves. That meant there was no reason to be cautious or to hold back. Every fighter could could go all out with reckless abandon. But, would the strongest champion do something so… irresponsible?

He'd used very little of his equipment, so there was little reason to check. In his right pouch, there were 8 doses of red leaves of the sinquoia tree and 2 doses of wizards temptation… no, 1, since there was now one in his mouth, already beginning to work its magic. There were still the 30 hira shuriken, 3 blood clot pills, 3 soldier pills in his right pouch. His left butt bag housed 4 kunai, 1 knife, 40 exploding tags, and 32 makibishi.

A Damascus steel gauntlet clasped thier left arm down to the forearm, almost reaching the elbow while the left mirrored the same action with a gray steel clawed gauntlet. As before Tenkyo Buryoku clasped on his back, handle up. Kyuushi hugged his left hip again, having been resheath from the last battle. Silently, the dormant short sword tokehaga clasped his right hip.

Now stopping 50 meters from his opponent on the opposite side of the platform, he looked around, observing the bridges and exact layout. When he was finished, he turned to the man and spoke. "Sorry to keep you waiting. I had some business to take care of." Otherwise, he awaited the call of the gods who had to be watching.

Howling winds kicked up above the heads of the combatants, brushing their clothes roughly as they passed by the fighters. The stands surrounding them remained empty as if the spectators were afraid to approach the heavens. A presence of devine proportions hovered above the champions, watching and ever present. These eyes took in every move, every breath of the champions. This fight was of the utmost importance to the Gods, it was to define their entire future.

With the heavenly spectators looming, there was now only one thing left to do. Fight!

His opponent had a rather interesting appearance. The thing that struck him was how young he appeared yet he did not give off the feeling of someone that young. Perhaps he was similar to Sai. Appearances aside, the Ame-nin knew not to trust appearances too much. He too must have fought someone to the death to reach this point. This proved that such a person was not to be underestimated. His opponent greeted him and apologized for his delay.

"Do not worry, I did not wait long. We will not know each other long anyway."

Sai was not threatening his opponent, merely stating a fact. One of them would die soon.

"Let's begin."

With that, Sai swiftly descended into a crouched position and activated a single hand seal. He did not get a chance to use this last round but he almost had it used on him. A specialty of the Yamanaka, he would bind his opponent in place if the technique hit. As he formed the seal, he took off, accelerating his Regalia to a high speed, moving in a zig zag like manner towards Aclime, though it was a bit erratic direction-wise to call it a zig zag. He hoped the crouching had blocked some of his opponent's view of the technique. There was the chance his opponent would recognize the technique and he wanted to lower it. If the technique hit, then all Aclime would do was stand there with closed eyes and hands over his ears.

However, that was merely the opening move, albeit deadly. He did not expect this to work but he hoped to use the element of surprise as the first person to move. The opponent counter attacking was not a problem. He was more worried about his opponent using more defensive measures. Should Sai encounter such a response, his plan was to instead power himself up. Since he no longer had to worry about his chakra levels, he could unleash Bankai from the start, as well as another defensive power he had not yet used in this tournament. Movement wise, he would still be dashing while performing the techniques.

Drawback: If the hand seal is interrupted, the jutsu ends. The user cannot perform any other jutsu while this jutsu is active. If pain is caused to the possessed victim, the jutsu is cancelled. Also one cannot manipulate the victim to commit suicide or to harm him or herself.
Description: The Yamanaka is able to send a spirit of confusion among the enemy’ body, granting the user the ability to manipulate their opponent’s body. If the Yamanaka has the same Class as the victim, the jutsu will last seven posts. If the victim is of higher Class, subtract one post for every additional rank from the total of posts. Description: Target is 1 Creature. Range is Personal or Touch. Duration is 5 minutes per Class Level. This technique grants the user a powerful "sixth sense" in relation to themselves or another. Once this technique is performed they receive instantaneous warnings of impending danger or harm to the subject of the technique. the technique gives the user a general idea of what action they might take to best protect themselves unless the opponent is restricted from movement. When another target is the subject of the technique the user will receive warnings about the target. The user must communicate what they have learned to the target for the warning in order for it to be useful, and the target can be caught unprepared in the absence of such a warning. The target must also be within the same "Thread" as the user in order for this technique to work. At first the user may only have this performed one at a time, however if the user continues to further train into the technique they may increase the number per time of learning. If the user learns the continuous training 4 times they are able perform this technique on a total of 5 targets including themselves.

You can take the TP from that technique and place it into other techniques. We had this problem in a previous thread with the usage of outdated techniques as well, luckily this was caught at the beginning of the thread. Is that okay with both parties? He recognized this man as the one who spoke with Rosalie and Akivasha. Was he as strong as she? It didn't matter the man said it was time to begin. He wasted no time starting forward in a rush, however, something seemed odd. His opponent crouched suddenly just before acceleration, bringing his hands together. Gekkido observed closely to attempt reading the nature of the technique (sense motive check, and chakra lore check), however, he had very little time to actually think.


It made no sense. Unless the crouching was a part of the technique, so something had to be concealed. Evasive maneuvers were required. As Sai began accelerating, Gekkido prepared his soul and unsheathed his Kyuushi, stepping with his right foot a meter forward to increase draw speed. The result was a powerful battojutsu ryusen that would cut forward 40 meters. It was out of range frankly, but with the opponent advancing so quickly, that would soon no longer be a factor. Once his rev forward continued for just a bit, it'd strike center mass as if to bisect him at the waist or behead him if he ducked.


As the Ryusen traveled forward with A ranked force, his soul raced forward and left so that a second later, he'd simply blink and appear 5 meters to the left and 5 forward, placing him and his opponent about 45 meters apart. And yet, the moment he appeared, he moved again at an intense speed in an arc the would place him at his opponent's left flank, 35 meters apart, causing whatever attack the opponent had planned to miss, provided it wasn't omnidirectional.


Sword still in hand, suddenly, he stopped. 2 seconds had passed by. He anticipated the opponent moving to evade his opening attack. His plan was simple. Evade and lead the opponent into his rhythm of attack and then grasp control of the fight. Immediately upon landing, he turned towards his opponent and began to cut the air numerous times, slashing in triplets that each amounted to A ranked damage. Spanning the count of 4 movements. 12 shockwaves flew in total. They weren't aimed at specific body parts however.

Instead, they were aimed at center of mass then to the left, the right, and above him so by the time he finished attacking, there'd be 3 attacks aimed center mass, 3 aimed to his left, three to his right, and 3 a meter above him. He did so to account for the zigzagging of his opponent and to account for his opponent to potentially jump over his attacks. Either way he'd dodge would result in a hit unless he took a grander motion that hadn't been accounted for

He had very little insight on the opponent, thier temperament or thier fighting style, but he'd decide how to deal with them according to how they reacted to the attacks. Mean while, charging his soul again, he touched the space between his eyes to buff himself, taking a combative stance that suggested he may flee. It was great having the wizards temptation. It seemed he was able to think more fluidly. He'd need it soon enough.

Effect: Stance with right foot placed in front of left, pressing the blade of the sheathed sword against the curve of the sheath, which increases draw speed. The drawing of the blade is the same motion used for the attack.

Drawback: It is an all-or-nothing attack where missing the target results in the user being completely vulnerable.
Description: A strong attach where the user quickly unsheathes their blade with an attack in a single motion. This is a slashing sideways type of attack. User stands with the right food in front of the left. User holds the sheathe of the blade with one hand and the other lays lightly on the handle of the sword. With a fluent motion the user takes hold of the blade and un-draws the sword with an attack. A strong attack that is capable of unleashing "A" Rank of slashing power. Description: A rapid striking attack. The user uses speed within their attack and attacks three times per movement to an opponent's body. This is used to stop large opponents or large objects. Depending on the user's movements depends on how many times a user are able to perform this attack. The user is also capable of adding in the technique Gosei Ryuu: Ryusen (Dragon Strike) within each strike making a more devastating attack. Depending on the user's knowledge of Gosei Ryuu: Ryusen (Dragon Strike) depends on the strength of the force that comes within each attack.

User stumble on a way to change their soul's eyes so they are more like the eyes of planar creatures. Since they are a reflection of their own soul their eyes change as well. User gains the ability of low-light vision and can see auras of invisible creatures (issuing invisible creatures only a 20% concealment). User also sees lingering auras where living creatures have touched solid objects much like a footprint. These lingering auras only last for 2 rounds and fade away.

Effect: User moves their soul and then snap to where it's at.

Drawback: ---
Description: Target is personal. Range is 10 meters. Duration is Instantaneous. User's soul races from their body and then the user snaps to where their soul stops. User makes a 10 meter step (unaffected by gravity or objects) and the user snaps to its spot. Takes a Movement equal in Handseals to Perform, but instantaneous for the effect. If the user's soul is beyond a solid object after the 10 meters and there is no way for the body to follow the user will move to the object and the soul will meet the user there. This ability cannot be used to scout, user's soul only goes where the user told it. If a creature has Chakra Sight, True Seeing, they can see the user's soul as it moves about.

While keeping his eyes on his opponent, Sai could see that the man was also a user of battojutsu. If he was as skilled as Sai and was preparing a technique from that distance, that meant a shockwave technique. The Amegakure-nin was a master himself at battojutsu so he knew he had to immediately make evasive maneuvers since the draw speed itself would be fast. While he had been moving forward at a high speed, his zig zags had not been short ones. With the far starting distance and his knowledge, he jumped over the shockwave. While this was happening, he had canceled the Shinranshin already and started on his planned techniques.

His opponent was adept in speed as well, though he assumed the technique his opponent was using was Shunshin or something similar. If not, then Sai would be in trouble if this man was naturally this fast. He was continuing to gather inertia, and after swiftly scanning the arena, he noticed that his opponent's new position when he reappeared to his left and immediately switched directions towards the new position with a mind to make a real attack this time. And now it turned out his opponent was very fond of the shockwave techqniue. No matter, Sai had been ready for something like this. This battle had become quite intense now and he had no intention of backing down. His legs slashed up in in the direction of his opponent and unleashed a sudden hurricane from his Regalia. It would crash against the blades of wind that had neared him but the intensity of the cycling winds would keep Sai safe.

The beast of nature he unleashed rapidly grew and pushed out from his position as the epicenter. He was roughly 30 meters away from his opponent after he had launched it and stopped the momentum from his dash and trick. As it thrust forward in all directions, it would most likely encompass the whole arena. Even as his opponent finished his attack, he would not have much time to breathe. While like this, Sai activated his thermal tracking to keep his opponent's location in his vision while the winds lasted. And now, even if his opponent followed up with a technique powerful enough to pierce through his strongest Trick, his aura of protection was ready.

Even so, Sai had to be ready. Even though this technique was one of his strongest singular techniques, he would not make the mistake of a weak follow through. He first finished his expelled a great portion of his soul from himself in the form of another Sai. Both of them dashed away from each other. They would each serve different functions in the fight to follow, if his opponent survived this massive hurricane. One of them headed towards Gekkido's position. That Sai waited for him to make a defensive move by preparing a battojutsu. When the winds died out, Sai had it set in his mind to shower his opponent with another storm, this time of blades.

The other would put his hands together while keeping the distance from his opponent.

I'll be reviewing this soon, currently starting the new term at uni so my time is a little all over the place.

Rune asked about his attacks striking the tornado and stated the math that the S+S+D tornado defence has 220 ap on it and his attacks equal 80x4=320 points. As his attack does more than the defensive powers of the tornado the tornado is hereby destroyed and Sai is taking 100 points of damage however that is soaked up by his bankai leaving the bankai with 120 points of defence in reserve.

Outside of that, Rune is now contending with Sai's own attack and must act accordingly, peace. Also Sai may be a little hard pressed to post in the coming days. They've let me know, hope it's not a problem Rune.

This opponent was a tricky one. His last was certainly stronger but this one was making him work more, giving him the appearance of staying on the defense. But what the former kage was really doing, was feeling out his opponent, granted each attack so far would normally be highly lethal. That's how it was however. He was expecting his opponent to make an exaggerated dodging maneuver and then try which ever jutsu he originally failed to do. Then again, he had a sword. What style did he practice? No, not important right now.

What is important is how his opponent chose to survive his assault. He didn't dodge as expected or show any finesse. Rather, he simply over powered the whole attack. While impressive, somewhere, they collectively felt… let down… disappointed? It seemed that thier opponent hand had been forced from the jump, and as he suspected, keeping his distance proved a good decision. Aided by the wizards temptation, it was easy to see and recognize the tornado for the threat that it was, effectively tanking 4 (A rank) assaults. At least, that's how it appeared, since his opponent didn't appear to put up further defenses

But his opponent made one major miscalculation with his attack. He used it far to far away. Even with the impressive range it impossed, its was but 10 meters wide. Aiming it from 30 away gave him just enough time to assess the threat and make out the outline of the tornado. Due to that, he could estimate that by moving either right or left 5 meters would allow him to dodge, give or take. It was dead centered on engulfing him after all.

The main thought was move left. He did this by throwing a part of his soul left eight meters and forward two. His body then snapped safely away from what should have been a tornado of sorts, only to discover that it'd had already died. He then used an afterimage to close the distance to where his opponent had been. Alarmed for a moment, he'd lost sight of Sai, just to catch two of them who had split into different directions. This could get dicey, but something had worked in his favor.

Gekkido had advanced not defense, but in offense. He was ready to attack and already had one ready to use. His current movements had left him roughly 18 meters from the Sai who was in a battojutsu stance and 25 meters from the other who was beginning to form a handseal. With blinding speed, Gekkido forcibly sheathed the Kyuushi back to its sheath whilst simultaneously grabbing the handle of the silver alloy blade on his back. Immediately, a sonic boom tore through the air, carrying such a forceful sharpness in frequency that it tortured the auditory nerves of his split opponent, or at least would if it hit. He was quite short that unless one of them had defenses against sound, non chakra sounds at that, it would be effective. In either case, a hit would paralyze both for 2 rounds. That didn't stop the closer Sai from performing his battojutsu however, as the style was basically too preemptive to interrupt. However, another miscalculation occurred.

Rather than focused on a frontal assault, he decided to use one that would rain down upon Gekkido. The problem was, with Gekkido's mindset to close the distance now, he intended to do so as quickly as possible. As the attack began raining down, Gekkido continued to step forward at a near super human speed, leaving a visual disturbance in his wake which appeared to take the hit as he left the space. That put him 8 meters from his target and out of range of the attack aimed for where he was instead of where he was going. Not quite close enough.

With one last final shunshin, this time trace, he passed by to his opponent's back, stopping 2 meters away, which was arms reach away. Pushing a vast amount of chakra into the silvery blade, he pulled it from the sheath as he turned around to attack. His attack of choice? 9 simultaneously lethal strikes targeting the main vitals parts of the human struck this Sai. The sword in his hand was the Tenkyo Buryoku.

Currently the blade was powered with chakra to pierce through the human body to attack their organs, in addition to cutting chakra techniques. When its power combined with the superb technique that he chose, the now 9 super charged strikes would utterly destroy any defense which might be lingering with power to spare. After that, it would be a done deal because if the stun hit, both Sais would be unable to defend conventionally. And if his 9 headed dragon flash hit, the enhanced Tenkyo Buryoku would plow through the defense. This Sai's brain would essentially splatter and heart would burst as the blade passed right through the protective body parts to strike the organs directly like a bat.


The reason he was sure to put himself and this Sai between himself and the other Sai was simple. If the further Sai forming handseals didn't get stunned and the one he was attacking didn't die, then whatever technique it was forming would have to pass through its comrade first. On the other hand, destroying this Sai meant the elimination of a threat and putting him into a position of advantage as he'd already be facing the remaining opponent who should be 35 meters away. But with that, he prepped his soul for his next manuever, ready to finish the fight

Drawback: This is an extra amount of chakra in order to create these types of attacks, and most users can only do these sort of moves three times in one battle before they feel the hilt of the blade cutting deep into the flesh of their hands. The A rank can be done three times, where as the S rank only only once. The distance between the blade and the object is still the same, four feet. The chakra can be blocked, but it requires that the opponent knows what is to come or has eyes to see this invisible killer.
Description: Now the user grows even more powerful with the pulse of the blade, meditating multiple times a day in order to have a true connection with their blade. The Chakra Pressure Based Attacks only allowed the blade to cut through many types of material as well as cutting the opponents flesh without the blade having to truly touch the person, but the Chakra Organ Based Attacks allows the chakra to penetrate the human body without living physical marks. The chakra becomes so thin within the blade, that it literally pushes through the pores of the opponent and into their body applying maximum pressure upon the organs. It would be like a person beating a heart with full strength outside of the protection of the human rib cage. The A rank allows this basic ability, meaning that it doesn't cut flesh nor organs, but it applies forceful damage upon the organs without truly cutting the organs or leaving a mark to show for it. The S rank however does allow the user the ability to literally slice an organ in half still without showing any physical bruises or cuts. The S rank is a major amount of chakra draining, and the user begins to feel very light headed afterwards.

Description: These points are the focus of the technique as they make up the basis of one’s guarding stance, regardless of style or weapon. So with the Kuzu-ryūsen, attacking all nine all at once, guarding and dodging becomes virtually pointless. Unlike the multiple strike attack, Ryūsōsen, all nine strikes of the Kuzu-ryūsen carry lethal force. However, weight and power play a critical aspect in the effectiveness of the technique. This means, even if the move is executed without flaw, the force behind the technique will differ from wielder to wielder depending on their class in weight and arm strength. OOC: Heading into seclusion tomorrow morning, thank you for your patience, Rune.

Sai realized that this opponent was stronger than he had expected. His defenses had held up but his AT trick had not been able to attack as he had expected. It seemed that his opponent's swordsmanship had wiped it out, affecting even Sai's Bankai. The split had successfully occurred and given how quickly the hurricane was gone, the other Sai swiftly retreated from their current position, activating a Shunshin technique in time to be out of range of a familiar technique. One that did not bode well for the Sai that was in range.

The other Sai's battojutsu went off at the same time. However, his opponent had managed to throw off his balance now, which made Sai fall down after he had performed it. He was behind him as well now. Sai's hand switched from hand to umbrella and released it. With his other arm, he activated a shield that would be the last layer of defense after the umbrella and the remaining Bankai aura. While these defenses were minimal compared the techniques thus far, they would combine to, at the very least, delay the oncoming blows. Additionally, by falling down, Sai had minimized himself as a target unintentionally. He also detonated his smoke pouch to help out the other Sai's attack. The smoke was a sickly green color, which he hoped to fool his opponent into thinking it was poison gas.

Now the Sai in the distance had, after the sonic boom had gone off, immediately started dashing towards Gekido. The moment he was in range, he formed the Kekkai barrier. However the point of it was not to defend his other self. The Kekkai would form starting from Gekido's elbows and his knees as one corner of a large rectangular prism. If he had somehow realized and jumped back, he would only hit the wall behind him. Normally, the Kekkai would only reject chakra based powers. But with his mastery of the Tenkai, he had been able to reject the physical world. Should the technique land, Gekido would be limbless and thus unable to defend from the follow up technique, Metsu. An implosion of Tenkai that offered as much damage as the defense it was originally meant for.

However, if the technique missed, then the Metsu would not be performed. Sai would not be surprised as this opponent kept dashing all over the place. In such a scenario, he activated a burst of jutsu to restrain his opponent. If the opponent had just escaped from the Kekkai and the smoke, then there was a chance that he would not see all of 80 invisible tendrils coming for him. 60 were zipping through the sky with the rest right above the ground. With these various angles, he hoped that one of techniques would finally hit their mark. And of course, he kept his dashing up in order to create inertia. He had a feeling he would need everything he could get.

It fills an area diameter of 15 meters with thick smoke. The smoke may come in different colors if the user wishes. Different color smoke could be used for information value if need.

Description: Picture: Picture Unlike the Armor, Shield completely nullifies damage instead of merely reducing it, though only attacks directed to the front where it makes contact with the shield. When using Shield, a large amount of biomass is shifted to the user's arm, molding it into a nigh-impenetrable black-biomass shield. Unlike Armour, mobility is not hindered when the Shield is active. The Shield blocks all incoming frontal projectile fire, or all-round melee attacks, until its damage threshold is reached, at which point it will shatter and require time to regenerate before it can be deployed again (2 round wait period). When first learned the user is able to withstand 60 Points worth of Damage. Each time learned ("C" Rank Training) the Shield gains strength of additional 40 Points. Description: Kekkai (Barrier) is the main source, and the start of offensive and defensive attacks that give a wide variety of uses in and out of Combat. Kekkai (Barrier) allows the user to create a Tenkai (Heavenly Release) within a distance of 7 meters plus 6 meters per Class Level. User may also change the size of the Tenkai (Heavenly Release) within the size limit of 5 meters radius spread sphere (maximum) to 1 meter radius spread sphere (minimum). Learning an extra time allows the user to change the shape of the Sphere to another geometric shape no more complex than a Rectangular Prism (with a maximum volume of 523 meters Cubed). Kekkai (Barrier) strength is dependent on the user's knowledge of Tenkai (Heavenly Release). Description: The user creates a bright glowing Halo made out of chakra with a diameter of 100 centimeter near their body. The colour of the glow can be altered by the user. Per time learned, one is capable of creating another Halo. When first created, a Halo will appear within a meter from the user, and from then on tend to swirl about behind their back unless they are used. The user can move these Halo through the air as they please as long as they are within eyesight.
Limit: Clan jutsu.

Effect: Makes it possible to let tendrils come out of the Halo, allowing the user to perform more jutsu with the Halo.

Description: Once activated, the user can make several bright glowing tendrils slide out of the Halo, all made out of chakra, and all having the same kind of glow as the Halo they come out of. Per time this jutsu is learned, one can create 10 tendrils per Halo.

Effect: Wraps tendrils around the opponent.

Drawback: During this no other jutsu can be done with any of the used Halo.
Description: Placing one or more Halo above the ground, one lets all tendrils of it turn invisible and solid, leaving only ripples in the sky, which then jolt towards the target. Once one tendril is wrapped around the target, the tendrils regain their glow, and the others will soon follow. While one tendril can’t do a thing besides creating a bit of drag, with ten tendrils one can fully prevent a limb from being used. It takes a B-ranked ninjutsu to destroy the tendrils.
Limit: Must have the Seiðr Halo and Chakra Gavinha activated.

Right looked it over. The issue was with the lack of mention to the stun effect of one of Rune's attacks, see Dragon Howl Strike. After review I deem that Sai is unaffected from the attack due to the buff he receives from the Bankai he is encased within which is supported by the Absolute boundary technique. The Bankai of course takes, I deem 20 points of damage due to the distance, and it nulls the stun affect. However, the clone of Sai is without such a buff and is currently suffering from the affects of the howl and is unable to take movements for the full 2 rounds. Now the next bit is a tad confusing for me as Sai's clone is simply being referred to as the other Sai at best so the target that Rune is attempting to strike is a bit vague for me to comprehend.

As such the following may not be the correct ruling but if Rune is indeed attacking the clone of Sai then the clone has been rendered incapable of attack and as no note of avoidance has been stated the clone has been struck and is destroyed. The feedback in response has left the original Sai stunned and unable to attack. Anything in the original Sai's hands has been dropped on the ground and offence is incapable for the next round from this point. The original Sai can still avoid attacks as best he can and the Bankai is still active and will be long after the effects of Sai's stun has worn off as rounds in NFRP are 12 seconds and the jutsu lasts for minutes.

To reiterate the number of what I guess could be called defense points remaining in Sai's Bankai is 100 points. That the equivalent of 1 S rank technique. Also in regard to the umbrella arm being used for defense. It's hard to determine just how to handle that one but I decree that it's there but it cannot be used as a shield for the time being. Unlike the bankai which encases the body the shield technique shifts the body but this umbrella arm can be compared to a knights shield strapped to his forearm. The same comparison equates the bankai to being like a suit of armor.

Blood splattered and sprayed as he cut deep into the flesh of this version of Sai. Was it a clone? A shadow clone? Who knew. The only way to find out was to cut it and see what it was made of, as they could detect nothing. But it was real blood, so had they struck the real deal? That meant the other should die. However, that didn't occur. Instead what they witnessed was the remaining opponent seize up.


A sense of bloodlust welled up inside. Maybe it was the blood in the air. If he could kill that other one, it'd all be over. As it stood, they now knew that this man had split his soul to make a clone, and had to have been suffering from recoil of its death. That was Gekkido's reason not to use that technique very often. But all Akai could think was that his opponent was now fresh for the picking.


Assuming Sai was indeed stunned and unable to attack, Akai was the one to rush forward. During this time his eyes would flash red, dumping the world into graysvale and illuminating chakra around him as well as boosting his strength. He shunshined 4 times, closing the distance from 40 meters, down to none in just a matter of seconds. And yet, he was not without his senses.

A warriors mind was sharp, and so was Akais. Any attack trying to strike from an unknown angle would catch his attention as his body would tell him to move, in which case, aided by the wizards temptation, he would quickly figure which direction the attack was coming from. Then, off pure martial training, Akai would evade as many times as needed, bobbing under high attacks, weaving and side stepping frontal attacks, and swerving and hopping over low attacks all without losing momentum. On the other hand, if he found himself attacked with another aoe attack like that twister, he'd dodge to the side. In fact, what he'd do is take a single step to the left, as he'd been doing all fight to make them think they could read his motion. However, the moment his other foot touched the ground, he'd afterimage to the right with a single image so that he still seemed to be going left.


When he closed the distance on his still stunned opponent, the invisible chakra blade on the Tenkyo Buryoku would turn to its normal piercing ability. With it, he'd stab right at his opponents skull with immense force that could pierce S ranked defenses like paper. He'd account for his opponents lack of control if he fell by aiming it downward and aiming with the same intent, in which case, the difference in angle would cause the blade to pierce the brain stem. If successful, Akai would would twist the blade, insuring more damage was done be before freeing the blade in a cloud of crimson.

If the opponent recovered first but Akai had closed the distance, Akai would stab his opponent three times with the same intensity with a blinding speed, hoping to overwhelm him. Then to defend, if needed, Akai would keep a close eye on his opponents stance, sword arm, and legs. If he made a manuever similar to his earlier tornado kick, Akai would relax his body for a split second then tense it for a shadow stitch, creating an evading swoop to his flank where it would miss. So swift it would be, that it'd just seem like he vanished in the wind. For what would appear to be a battojutsu, he'd use the same type of evasion, aiding it with his shapeless. However, he'd move his body just out of standard blade reach, then extend Tenkyo buryokus chakra blade to an extra 4 feet to give him a reach advantage. In either case, both maneuvers would be followed by a sword impale to the back of thr brain stem using Akais anatomy knowledge.

Chaos Second Stage ‘Rage of Chaos’
Rank: ‘B’
Skill: Taijutsu
Effect: The second stage of chaos allows the user to unlock fifty percent of there max strength, there endurance and durability remains the same as stated as above. There speed, however remains the same and unlike the first stage they no longer suffer any negatives to there movement speed. Once activated the user is now capable of seeing ones aura as it emanates from there body. This also allows the user to negated pain for a short period of time.
Special: You receive no negatives to movement. Though a Kamyuja member is not capable of using chakra gates, they can use there chaos as as substitute in order to go into a chakra gate related fighting style. This eye is capable of mimicking the third and fourth gate. Please note you don't gain the benefits of those chakra gates.

Description: Picture When activated the user’s eyes burst in a brillient ember color as a flame like cover overcomes tye eye. This shows as if potential explodes out a new life begins to take over the eyes. Like previously stated before the user is capable of seeing in black n’ white as if they were colored blind, this doesn’t hinder there ability to fight in fact it increase there ability due to the fact they are able to see the aura of chakra emanating from a person’s body. Once this stage of chaos is activated the user is able to demonstrate feats of incredible strength, making them unstoppable to some. This is possible due to the fact it allows the Kamyuja member to tap into only fifty percent of there true strength. Though this allows the user to become incredible strong there time limit is shortly reduced, also unlike before the users speed remains the same as they are no longer sluggish and no longer suffering a negative to there movement speed. When activated the nociceptor that allows a person to feel pain is shut down for a short duration of time. While the nocieptor may be shut down allowing no pain to precede forth to the brain so the brain can register to causing neuropathic pain. While the pain may not be able to transmit to the brain at the time, it is forced to be backed up until the nocieptor is open again. This can be dangerous due to the fact too much pain may not only cause physical pain but psychogenic pain that may kill him if too much damage is taken. That is why the body reacts by letting the pituitary gland release endorphins at a remarkable rate to reduce the pain consumption by twenty percent only allowing the user to feel only eighty percent of the pain that is dealt to them.
Limit: Must have the Kamyuja Bloodlimit, This ability only for ten turns before automatically shutting off. After five turns after Chaos has been shut off the user is capable of activating it once again.

Effect: The user now focuses on pushing the chakra out into a fine cut able to pierce almost limitless objects.

Drawback: Constant chakra drain. Objects such as stone or metal cannot be cut through, but if the technique is used correctly, it can deflect attacks of that strength. The blade must be at most four feet from the object before cutting through it with the chakra, or the chakra simply fades away. The chakra can be blocked, but it requires that the opponent knows what is to come or has eyes to see this invisible killer.
Description: Through excessive training, the user now must focus on pushing the chakra collected within the blade, out into such a thin yet almost solid form that its fine edge can cut very strong objects. Its strength practically rips through chakra like paper, of course not Genjutsu techniques and some Ninjutsu techniques, but defensive Ninjutsu techniques can be cut through quite easily. The user must meditate daily with this blade if they wish to have a true connection with it, and they must learn how to create a pulse within the blade that pushes the chakra out, and only with total chakra control can that be executed. Basically allows the blade to cut through many types of material as well as cutting the opponents flesh without the blade having to truly touch the person.

Effect: By fighting on and on, a user becomes more proficient when an attack may come by. This happens usually when the user becomes unable to see the attack. However by being in combat for so much they can feel when an attack is coming making them less able to be flanked.

Drawback: The user may only learn this technique by the class that they are. This means that in order to learn the "C" Rank version they must be "C" Class, if they wish to learn the "B" Rank version they must be "B" Class.
Description: A technique where the subconscious mind, where the subconscious body reacts just as they are attacked while flanked or while their back is turn. The body reacts in such a way to where they are capable of withstanding so much. This technique makes it where the User is incapable of being surprised attacked, a sudden second sense kicks in as their body screams out to them yelling at them telling them to move, duck, dodge or anything else within that manner. This works on whenever they are being attacked. This technique however has a major flaw. The user is capable of dodging only whenever the opponent's class is equal or lower to that of the rank of the technique they know. This means that a "D" Class user that knows this technique cannot use this against an opponent that is "C" Class or higher.

Description: The user learns how to proficiently dodge and evade flying objects as well as oncoming weapons through predicting the attacks. A very useful technique since the Heaven Shapeless: Stance (Single) has no defensive capabilities. The user will stand in one position and learn the minimum amount of movements required to avoid an attack. The bending of the body at a rapid pace is essential to this technique as well as ducking, side-stepping, jumping, and bobbing/weaving. Each rank the user learns the user is capable of effectively knowing how to evade a technique equal in rank.

OOC: Sorry for the delay. And it's been a good match and RP experience, thank you Runeska and also Jimmy for the rulings.

Sai had not expected his other soul to fall. His mind already processed what was to come next and he sighed. Both a jolting and a chilling feeling resounded through his body as he lost a good portion of his bodily control. His proud Bankai defense was still standing but he knew the extent of Akai's offensive prowess. It would not survive past the next attack. Watching his opponent disappear with blinding speed, Sai knew that the end was nearing. But he would not go like this. With the residual speed he had in his AT, he threw himself to avoid the head stab. He had not dodged specifically for this but had dodged in a general direction as best he could.

However, that would be it for Sai. With AKai's speed, he wouldn't have time to recover. Time began to freeze in his mind as he made his peace. His opponent was one of the highest caliber and he had no qualms laying down his sword to one like him. Lately he had grown tired of being a shinobi, of fighting. He had lived for too long. The incoming stabs broke apart his Bankai and he took the final blow to the torso, the force of the swordplay blasting him backwards. As he did so, he took one last look at his favorite sight. Blue skies. And white clouds, with his next adventure hidden behind them. With that, he breathed his last.
