Soft-spoken yet strong-willed, Hinata is a child who strives for peace and love, whose wish is to show the world there's more to winning than defeat, that there's more to enemies than simple hostility, more to life than death. Because they so strongly believe in the good of anyone, they simply refuse to fight, even when their life may be in danger. A child who stands up to evil with not even a weapon in hand or chakra too strong at their core, Hinata is determined to be the greater good of the world, and to perhaps help bring peace to the nations. That's their wish, at least. However unattainable it may seem, they still fight for what they believe in with little combat.
Although Hinata doesn't speak too often, they aren't as shy as they outwardly appear to be. In fact, they're quite outgoing, and love making new friends. They love to be helpful, and they love the little things in life. Hardly giving into upset emotions, Hinata remains optimistic even on the rainiest of days, appreciating each tiny joy the world has to offer. Sometimes, when sadness or anger, trepidation or negativity, anything below happiness does settle in, they need to take a breather and sit out, as to not lash out at anyone. If they ever did lash out at anyone, they would regret it immediately, and never forgive themself for such a terrible display of exactly what they're hoping to diminish in this world.
Kind and generous, Hinata is the epitome of innocence. They're not afraid to put others' needs before their own, and they are willing to do just about anything it'll take to bring somebody happiness. Not only are they a pacifist at heart, but they're also driven by some gnawing force, and undying voice that always tells them to keep going, to never lose hope. It is thanks to this tiny voice in the back of their head does Hinata remain determined. It influences them to take the next step, even when exhaustion clutches too heavily at their weight, or to continue persisting someone whose core seems unmelting. They don't give in to gossip, and they hardly hold their standards too highly.
While Hinata can appreciate all life, it is hard for them to understand basic things such as gender, or sexuality. Not only that, but the boundaries exhibited by others don't seem to apply to them, as their young exterior allows for them to blend in with all genders, and helps them to fit into the hearts of even the toughest, most tsundere of hardasses. Noody can turn down this face of purity.
APPEARANCE
Standing at 4'3" and weighing in at a whopping 98lbs, Hinata isn't the biggest, or most intimidating, pacifist. However, it does help them to be too cute to punch.
Small limbs and tiny hands, stubby legs and a button nose, too-thick eyebrows and a bob cut, Hinata is the cutest patoot around. Their skin is too creamy to be pale, yet too light to be dark-skinned, and their thick, brown hair is chopped just below their chin, with a fringe thick enough to disguise their self-proclaimed hideous eyebrows. Being a child, their body is more pudge and fat, with a round face and round cheeks, lots of fevered, warm flesh sometimes rendered brittle by the cold they wander in. Because of their time spent outside, their cheeks are chapped and rosey, which would only bring out their unfortunate red eye color did they allow anyone to see their eyes. Whether covered by fringe or simply shut tight, the child is careful not to allow this symbolic evil to ruin their otherwise pleasant aura.
For attire, Hinata is very simplistic. They wear a sweater one size too big that hangs heavily on them, past their hips. The crewneck is a periwinkle blue with two pink stripes that layer the torso and sleeves, parallel and nearly equal in size. The sleeves hang past their fingertips, and in warmer weather they push the sleeves up with little avail, as the sleeves roll down with too much movement. Made of cotton, it keeps them warm in the harsh weathers, but overheats them in the harshness of warm weather. Underneath, however, they wear only a black tanktop, with a trim that reveals their waist line, so they don't often strip themself of the sweater.
On their hips clings two layers; a pair of black leggings under a pair of denim blue shorts, both tattered and worn in their own ways. The hems of the shorts are tethered and one pocket is completely devoid of any wielding-capabilities, while the leggings are rubbed thin at the knees. Only hints of their tan skin are visible through the cloth of either, and both keep them relatively dressed and comfortable. On their feet they wear a pair of black ankle boots with soles that are also wearing thin. It may be time to invest in a new wardrobe in reality, but Hinata quite prefers the way they dress, as they have a sort of longevity attachment to the clothes they've come to know so well. Wearing anything else seems almost like a betrayal, and they feel naked and tired without their signature appeal.
HISTORY
As a foster child living between villages, Hinata floated from household to household, from family to family, from situation to situation. Some have blended into each other, mostly the ones from their earlyhood; they can't remember the first family that took them in, or the second or third. Around the fifth, they were 7 years of age, and capable of maintaining the memory of their fifth home, fifth family, fifth situation. They were a small family, with a small home, and somehow they had been allowed to adopt this child, even without the correct qualifications. Their home was run-down, with mildew clinging to the rafters and a moldy smell too heavy to breath properly in, no electricity and a well of recycled water. Despite these shortcomings, however, Hinata will remember how kind this family was in actuality, how despite the shit hand they had been dealt, they were still so kind and caring, so generous enough to take in this child. A year later, Hinata proved to be too much of a responsibility and was, regrettably, returned.
The fact that Hinata had, once again, been returned to this orphan manufacturer, frightened them. How many more times would they be dubbed defective, and to be returned?
The sixth situation was the polar opposite of the fifth. A neat home, too large to explore alone, too clean with a sterile smell stronger than the one of mold, harder to breath in. Warm water, more than enough electricity, and a big family. Yet, somehow, not as nice, not as cozy as the fifth. The patrons were mean, strict, and upon realizing Hinata was their own individual, too far past being able to be manipulated into a different, neater soul, the child was returned once more.
By now, Hinata was around 10 years of age, and enough had been enough. Maintaining a pleasant outlook, they packed their things, and ditched the orphanage before they could be shipped off to their next temporary home.
It's been three years now, and they live strong on the streets, fending for themself and making do with what little resources they're allowed.
