Acting [20x]
Rank: "E" [100 TP]
Skill: Skill
Effect: Acting enables a character to skillfully portray various roles.
Special: 93/125 [Expert]
Drawback: ---
Description: Acting is most often used as a form of entertainment, though it can also be useful in aiding a disguise or pulling a scam. A skilled actor knows how to research their role in order to provide a realistic portrayal to include mannerisms, speech patterns, dialect or jargon. The Acting skill also confers a cumulative 5% bonus (per level above Unskilled) to Disguise skill check rolls. The list below gives examples of Mastery and what the character can do.
•Unskilled Give a stereotyped performance.
•Novice Pretend to be a person whose background is not too dissimilar from the character’s own.
•Average Play a role convincing to an audience not overly familiar with the part he’s portraying.
•Advanced By observing and interacting with a member of a class or profession, he can pass himself off as said.
•Expert Can independently ‘invent’ a role such as a lord, member of a cult, wealthy merchant, etc., and can dress and act the part with such skill that he can pass as that person.
•Master Can successfully imitate any person well enough to fool anyone not intimately familiar with the person (barring visual familiarity).
Each time learned user gets 1 die roll to increase the skill.

Schatzi was desperately hungry. It had been days since last she had consumed fresh blood. Out of courtesy to Rosalie, she had been avoiding it as much as she could, but she was simply growing far too weak. Luckily for the shapeshifter, a roving band of performers had set up camp nearby, and were already arranging their stage.
A short while later some light flirting with the lead actress in her boyishly handsome and most assuredly anatomically male Fierian Mercenary disguise led to a brief sexual adventure behind the stage. Bloodplay was involved. Sort of. Schatzi wasn't able to bleed very effectively. Unfortunately his conquest bled perhaps too effectively, and was rendered very much dead. Minutes away from the curtain's rise no less.
Stashing the body for later consumption - why let a perfectly good meal go to waste? - he assumed the woman's features as best he could within the brief time available to him. Her, rather. She took some liberties with the proportions to better suit her personal sensibilities for the svelte rather than the voluptuous, and wriggled into the decedent's dress, utilizing some Karinui tricks to adjust the fit. Few people would be able to tell.
Her thespianic facade in place, she hustled up the the sidelines where she could skim her lines and hope for the best when her entrance came.
Alarmingly, with a full copy of the script in hand, it seemed as though she was a silent player in this display, aside from an order to strip. This was how they treated their lead actress? No, no, that simply would not do. Not that she had any objection to the nudity, but moreso with being sidelined. Even though it wasn't really her. Still, she was in the performance now, so she would be putting on a bloody performance. Schatzi was a consummate actress! Except not really. But she was one now!
At the time of her entry, she sashayed onstage and flashed her most winning smile to the crowd, leaving them off with a sultry wink before loudly and pointedly greeting her fellow characters. They were going to play by her rules now. Quite a few scenes progressed where either she would have been little more than attractive window dressing with an open blouse or else not present at all. Though she embraced the bit with the blouse enough to also part her skirts, she actively rebelled against her lack of participation. That is to say, she participated. Vigorously.
Amusingly, nobody could really offer any objection. Her performance had already captivated audience and performers alike, skillfully wrapping them about her finger. When it came time at last for the climax, a desperate - and singular - kiss with the male lead before her suicide, she made certain to involve quite a few more players of both sexes. The event rather swiftly escalated, and that same energy spread to the crowd. Although the playwright's vision was thoroughly ruined, it would prove to be a night the small town would remember for years to come. Schatzi was even able to slink off completely satisfied with her mayhem, casting a brief glamour over herself and her corpse before flying off on batlike wings. She'd eat it later.
