The Man, the Myth, and the Katana

"Tired... so fucking tired..." Aimi complained to no one in particular as he walked on down the road, his shoulders slouched and his arms hanging down at his sides. This had turned into quite the adventure for Aimi, this little outing! When he'd left the Kusagakure weeks ago, it'd been to seek out a Bousen master. He'd met another swordsman along the way and a Hyuuga, Rahael, just before finding himself a teacher. Then there had been a mad dash for the exams, taking him to several places that he didn't mean to go! Then there was the chunin exams themselves - what a trip they had been. After the exams, high on adrenaline and the knowledge that he had finally managed to overcome a major mile stone in his life without the usage of his Kaguya heritage, he'd just sort of... wandered around for a bit, trying to get home.

He'd met Loki and Amarante, some little piss ant by a lake, an invisible woman who'd taught him about the Slash Dimension techniques, he'd killed people, and had sworn vengeance upon the one who made him kill. He'd learned about the Venators, witch hunters and demon slayers as well as a whole slew of underground organizations he had absolutely no clue about. In investigating, he'd even come across a sort of hidden knowledge that the Venators possessed, which he supposed now made him one of them whether he liked it or not. Honestly, he felt he had a right to complain about how sore his feet were and how he missed his bed! Who the hell wouldn't after all of that!?

The road he was walking down was one bogged by a thick canopy and underbrush, the path only really visible if you were looking for it. This wasn't the main road to the Kusagakure, but rather a side road that lead there. In the hot, humid environment of the Kusa no Kuni, such thick shrubbery wasn't at all an uncommon sight, though in his travels he'd almost forgotten how hot it could be. Despite wearing mostly white, he was sweating pretty badly! Of course he had all of his traveling equipment with him - two butt bags filled to the brim with shuriken, paper bombs, his compass, a few kunai, etc. that he had brought with him to the chunin exam, but he hadn't actually needed to use any of it, not in his travels or during the exams. How fortunate! At his left side was the katana that he'd brought with him,bouncing on his hip, also having gone unused during the exams... though not after. In the shade of the trees and the choking underbrush that covered a fair portion of the dirt path along either side, Aimi Kaguya made his way home. he was close now, only a couple of miles away, and he planned to make the walk as leisurely as possible. A boat load of responsibility was waiting for him when he got back, and he was probably already tantamount to being late as is. Why not take his time a bit more?

Effect: A digging tool, a bit like a trowel. The blade was soft iron and unsharpened because the
edges were used to smash plaster and wood, to dig holes and to pry. Also used as a
knife.

Description: The kunai is conventionally wrought in ranges from 6 to 8 inches, with the average at 7 inches. The kunai was used by common folk as multi-purpose gardening tools and by workers of stone and masonry. The kunai is not a knife, but something more akin to a crowbar. The blade was soft iron and dull because the edges were used to smash plaster and wood, to dig holes and to pry. Normally only the tip would have been sharpened. The uses to which a kunai was put would have destroyed any heat-treated and sharpened tool like a knife. There could be multiple kinds of kunais such as handless ones, or even double sided kunais as long as they are within the same length.

Hira-Shuriken (Overview) x 2 Slots [30]

Effect: Is a concealed weapon that is generally for throwing, and sometimes stabbing or slashing.

Description: Hira-shuriken is constructed from thin, flat plates of metal derived from a variety of sources including hishi-gane (coins), and kugi-nuki (carpentry tools), and generally resemble popular conceptions of shuriken. In modern popular culture, these are called "throwing stars" or "ninja stars". They often have a hole in the center and possess a fairly thin blade sharpened only at the tip. The holes derive from their source in items that had holes - old coins, washers, and nail-removing tools. This proved convenient for the shuriken user, as well, as the weapons could be strung on a string or dowel in the belt for transport, and the hole also had aerodynamic and weighting effects that aided the flight of the blade after it was thrown. There is a wide variety of forms of hira-shuriken and they are now usually identified by the number of points the blades possess.

Following behind the worn out Kusa shinobi was another shinobi. He had no indication of what village he was from, having denounced his obedience to the village of Takigakure. With the death of Zeddicus, he only wanted to shed the blood of all those that once called him an ally. To think he'd align himself with those detestable sacks of flesh. Before he could even consider slaughtering them, he had to take care of someone. The shinobi from Kusagakure. The one that flaunted his soul and gave Kamina the indication that he was more than just a regular human. The God of September was going to reign supreme. 

"You miserable wretch. I will kill you and tear into your flesh." 

The six foot four behemoth growled. He sounded more demon than God at this point. He was a dark God after all. So it wasn't too far fetched to think he would sound this sinister. Not in his mind. His chocolate colored skin glistened with sweat, each bead of sweat streaming down his bulging muscles. Kusa no Kuni was no doubt an unbearably hot place. Even on the path they were currently on. To deal with this heat, Kamina wore nothing more than a pair of hakama, unimori in style. On his left hip sat two katana. A cheshire grin creeped across his face as he prepared to slaughter the target in front of him. No doubt the Kusa shinobi would be alert after hearing him speak.

[Aimi Kaguya]

Stopped in his tracks and froze in place, hearing an insult and a threat coming from behind him in a familiar voice. Oh no, he thought to himself, turning around on the spot and looking at the bare chested, taller Taki shinobi that stood before him some ways down the path. He couldn't have been more than twenty meters. What the hell was he doing here? Surely he didn't... surely he didn't follow him from the exams? Seriously!? But... but why!? He barely even remembered this guy!

The most solid thing that stuck out in his mind was his aura, followed closely by how he had taken out one of the squiddies by cutting into a tree branch. He'd been aggressive and followed him into the forest during the exams, but he'd lost track of him after he'd entered the temple. Honestly, the Chunin Exams had ended up being such a blur, he didn't know what had happened to half of the other competitors. He assumed that they'd been kicked out, and thus this guy must have been as well. What was his name again? Kamaha? Sounds about right. Aimi thought to himself as he channeled the power of his soul to enhance his vision, allowing him to view the man's dull soul and the colors it let off.

Red. Dark red, just as during the exams. He didn't expect as much. This guy was an angry guy after all, and frankly he seemed way too full of murderous intent. That still left the question of if he'd been followed? If that was the case, then this Kamaha guy had been there during all of his travels, had seen what he'd had to do with Loki and Amarante, knew how much he had grown on the road. Not. Fucking. Good. Aimi had had no idea that he was being followed, but this guy had seen all of the new things he'd learned since leaving the village as a genin all those weeks ago. That, and he was apparently there to fight - to kill. Plus Aimi was tired, fatigued even. He had the upper hand.

His soul, though, was still greater than his, he could tell. "Oh... so it's you," he said, straightening up and turning around in the jungle heat and humidity, sweat making his hair damp and racing across his face. He channeled the power of his soul, a feeling that any other soulcaster worth their salt would have noticed and would have taken as a very aggressive warning sign. Somehow, though, he doubted that this Kamaha guy would, assuming he was still as proficient at manipulating his soul as he had been during the exams, which was not much at all. Aimi was tired, at a disadvantage, and what was worse - he'd accidentally lead a foreign shinobi within miles of the Kusagakure. He had to be driven away, he couldn't be allowed to step any closer.

"Look, I'm in no mood or condition to be dealing with you and your bullshit. So why don't you do us both a favor and turn around, walk away, and don't you dare ever come back. This is the only warning you'll get," he proclaimed, a solidarity in his voice that was present despite his tired condition. Truth be told, Aimi was prepared to kill this intruder if need be. Unlike with Loki and Amarante, where he had killed by being forced to, here he was close to home, in his home country, and well within his rights to defend it. As a shinobi of the Kusagakure, who had taken him in, sheltered him, nurtured him, for many years now, he would not - could not - abide a malicious stranger to invade his home and declare death upon him, or anyone else. He was a Kusagakure Chunin, and he would defend his village here and now with as much might as he could muster.

Soul Sight

Kamina got exactly what he wanted out of calling the Kusa shinobi out. He was dissatisfied with the reaction, Kamina thought of making a statement. Whether it meant anything or not didn't matter to him. At this stage he was already going insane. Nothing mattered to him outside of the fact that he wanted this man dead. Kamina had a sneaking suspicion from the Chuunin Exams that this man was like him, a God in human flesh. This God was like all the other God's that crossed Kamina's path. They were out to prevent him from returning to the realm of the God's.

Grabbing hold of his headband, he looked down at it with disgust. Holding it in his hand, he completely felt empty with it. It had no significance to him whatsoever. Kamina spit on the headband and threw it directly toward the Kusa shinobi's face. "Perhaps I should have destroyed Takigakure first." Kamina said to himself, bending his knees and grabbing the sheath of the red katana with his left hand. He took hold of the hilt and drew his katana in the blink of an eye, releasing a wave of pressurized wind at the unsuspecting Kusa shinobi.

He decided to follow the wind current and dash behind the released technique. He didn't sheath his sword just yet. He knew there was more that he could do. He needed to test what the other God was capable of, so he decided to keep his opening move simple. Distract him with the Dragon Strike and see if he can survive the second hidden blow. Whether the Dragon Strike made contact or not, Kamina would use a shunshin to immediately be in the Kusa shinobi's face and swung his blade with a horizontal strike. Whether that missed or not, he'd aim for a second horizontal strike ending with him sheathing his sword and remaining in his stance to draw his sword if need be.

Keihatsu Ryuu: Battōjutsu (Art of Drawing the Blade)

Effect: This technique is the basic concept of Busōsen (Arms Flash) which deals specifically with the rapid drawing and sheathing of a sword.

Drawback: Missing the strike could result in the user being completely vulnerable.
Description: Picture The user stands in the Keihatsu Ryuu: Battōjutsu no Kamae (Art of Drawing the Blade Posture). Grabbing the handle of the sword near the Tsuba, the user thereafter steps forward with the front leg while unsheathing the blade in a horizontal attacking motion across the body. So swift is this technique that it is akin to a "flash", taking no movements to perform. However, the concentration of such a quick strike is evident; upon sheathing the sword, the user must sacrifice a movement to do so. Keihatsu Ryuu: Ryusen (Dragon Strike)

Description: JKousou no Shisei is the most aggressive of the six stances of Gyakusatsu and offers the highest peak of offense. The user brings his/her sword above the head held in a double axe-handle position with the dominate hand held near the apex. This stance is used to optimize the user's initial strength and bodyweight for heavier swordstrokes and counters. The feet match the positioning of the hands with the dominate side in the forefront.

Seikouhou (Frontal Attack)

  Effect: The swordsman draws upon his/her inner strength to inflict more damage.

  Description: Meikyo Shisui is the epitome of skill within the Gyakusatsu. Through the battles fought and won by a swordsman, one eventually learns how to unite the Heart, Mind, Body, and Soul that make up a swordsman. This union of bodily elements draws more and more power into the swordsman's body through intense chakra concentrations within the muscles, thus giving all attacks made with a sword additional striking power for a timespan of six turns with a four turn cool-down period. When used in succession, the technique's duration is cut in half and cool-down period is doubled each time.

[Aimi Kaguya]

His warning was ignored in a rather undignified fashion, the Taki shinobi taking off his headband and spitting on it before tossing it in his direction, making Aimi duck his head to the side to dodge it while keeping his eyes on Kamahameha's red, murderous aura all the while. So that was his answer. Gods damn the man, whatever gods there may be. Aimi just wasn't up to this right now! He was way too tired to fight effectively, even if his will and spirit were in it his body was lacking! He'd have to end this quickly, or else risk going on the defensive, where things could easily go downhill fast.

As Kamahameha moved back into his position to draw his sword, Aimi recognized the stance for what it was, being his own primary sword stance, and knew that something lightning fast was coming because of it. Springing to the right to jump out of the way of the viscous Dragon Strike, sailing through the air and keeping his eyes on his foe. He suddenly vanished from sight though, or rather rushed forward into his site. Opening his eyes wide, his vision filling up with that red aura of Kamahameha's soul, Aimi's hand went to his hip and he drew his blade at that same blink-of-an-eye speed, using his sword to block against his strike, falling down to the ground in the process!

His heart was beating tremendously fast - he was in that exact position he didn't want to be in! Already, Kamahameha had closed the gap between them and had him with his blade drawn, but he couldn't sheath it and defend himself! Bousen was a sword style that was supposed to be too fast to allow this sort of thing, that's why he learned it! He'd always assumed that he would strike first and fastest, but here he was being proven wrong! On the plus side though, with his foe being so close to him his soul was lashing out against his, causing him great pain every single second he was anywhere close to him.

It wasn't enough, though, and he knew it. He needed to put some distance between the two of them, he was at a disadvantage at such a close range! Where he was at now, on his back with his sword drawn out in front of him was most certainly where he wanted to be, damn it! "Get, AWAY!" he shouted, desperation in his voice, and yeah that desperation filled him with strength! It was his desperation that would pass judgement on Kamahmeha on that day, and stop him from having such an advantage at close range! At roughly the same time, he cursed the man for daring to attack him, wracking his body with the pain that came from the fires of hell! At almost the same time, very shortly after, he channeled the power of his soul forth through his hand, sending it forth into his foe's chest to connect with his very soul!

With a push of his right hand, still clinging onto his sword, should his attempt at connecting their souls with a tether prove successful, Aimi would send the man flying backwards across the small dirt road into the nearest tree, some five meters away, before swinging his sword arm wide and sending him across the path into another tree in a diagonal direction, some three meters more away, then again across the path into another tree at the same distance, then again at another tree across the way at another two meters before finally flinging him back through the air roughly five meters and tethering the link to their soul, putting a fifteen meter distance between them.

Should all of this prove successful, Aimi would get up onto his feet and hold his sword down at his side, already panting with breath and dripping sweat onto the ground, his eyes keenly locked onto that red aura. That wasn't going to be enough to beat him, he knew that, he just hoped it'd do something to him besides put distance between them. This had to end quickly, or he feared for his life...

The shinobi of Kusa easily dodged the Dragon Strike. To Kamina, it appeared that this particular shinobi knew that it was coming. Something about the way he looked at him when he took his stance said so. This shinobi, or rather God, seemed to know the Busosen techniques. That still didn't stop Kamina for continuing his onslaught, but that was parried when his opponent drew their own sword in the same manner he did. Easily blocking the attack. Something felt odd about this clash though. Kamina could feel some type of pain that he had never felt before. It was like something was tormenting his very soul. Something told him to get away from this God, that he was more dangerous than what Kamina expected. That wasn't going to deter the former Taki shinobi to back down.

Whether it was sheer luck or a miscalculation on the Kusa shinobi's end, he was taken to the ground from blocking Kamina's sword. He was put in a very bad position. Had Kamina not been in pain, he would have struck fast and hard at that very moment to slaughter the worthless God before he could react. The pain of being near him was just too much. It was an unusual pain to be feeling. One Kamina had never felt before. The Kusa shinobi seemed to be struggling a bit, after realizing what Kamina would be capable of in this position.

As if begging for Kamina to leave, a desperate plead for Kamina to leave him alone was all the Kusa shinobi managed to call out. This was pretty pleasing for the God of September, only.. there was something else that followed his plead. A burst of green flames enveloped his entire being. The flames weren't hot on his skin, but that same type of damage he was feeling before, was now also accompanied by an overwhelming burning sensation. He felt like he was getting sent straight to hell, which was really where he belonged. 

As if that humiliation wasn't enough. The pain stricken God was tossed around like a rag doll. Kamina crashed into a tree, then another tree, then yet another tree, then the final toss came, slamming a now bloody Kamina against the fourth and final tree. The damage he took was real and almost life threatening. Kamina barely forced himself to look in the direction of the Kusa shinobi, who was standing and panting, barely able to catch his breath. Kamina barely managed to stand up. His body was wracked with pain. As was his soul, which he didn't understand, even as a Soulcaster he didn't know much about the power. 

"You think it is that easy?" He muttered. His voice was soft at this point. He struggled just to get those words out of his mouth. His eyes showed complete determination still. All of the damage he took until now meant nothing to him. The pain he felt meant nothing. It was just something that the sack of flesh and bone he was trapped in felt. It meant NOTHING to the GOD OF SEPTEMBER! Kamina clenched his teeth and tightened his fists. He was filled with absolute rage. He was completely humiliated by this bastard of a God. He attacked Kamina with some other worldly shit, and that was not going to fly. 

"I AM THE GOD OF SEPTEMBER! I WILL TEAR YOU LIMB TO LIMB AND FEAST UPON YOUR FLESH! YOUR HEART WILL BE TORN FROM YOUR CHEST AND CRUSHED BETWEEN THESE VERY FINGERS!" He screamed in another fit of rage. The rage being spewed from his mouth unlocked a hidden potential he had locked inside of his flesh. Down to the very core of his chakra system. His chakra at this point would flow more freely throughout his body. Yet, he continued to in his raging frustration. "I CAN SEE IT NOW! YOU LEAVING THIS WORLD AND GOING STRAIGHT TO HELL!"

His chakra began to move even more freely through his chakra system. All of the pain he was feeling was gone. He could feel nothing. It was more than his insanely lashing out. He had opened the second chakra gate. He couldn't hold back any longer though. He needed to unleash all of this excess energy on that dammed Kusa Shinobi. Kamina took stance again and drew his katana in a swift manner, unleashing a mighty wave of concentrated wind at the Kusa Shinobi. The first Dragon Strike was easily dodged, but that meant nothing to him. The technique was powerful and would still prove to be useful. 

Kamina dropped the crimson katana and this time drew the second one, unleashing a second wave of wind directed at a tree next to the Kusa shinobi. This was meant to make the tree fall onto the him after him getting struck by Kamina for his final technique. Even with the second gate open, Kamina could feel his body wanting to shut down. So to end this battle, he dashed forward at high speed, disappearing from where he was and appearing ten meters ahead, almost right back to where the Kusa shinobi was. Kamina looked like he simply stood there, not making a single movement.

Nothing was happening. At least that was how it would appear to be. In order to ensure that the Kusa shinobi was killed by tree that was going to fall, he left an after image behind, having used a second shunshin to get directly before the Kusa shinobi. Had Kamina not been using his chakra gates, he would have felt the pain of being so close to the Kusa shinobi even more. He was taking damage without even knowing it. Had he understood the technique in the first place, he could have avoided it altogether. Kamina's sword was already back in its sheath, and he was back in a stance to draw his sword. Although this time the stance was a bit different. Kamina then drew his sword swiftly, not as swiftly as before, in an attempt to cut the Kusa shinobi's head off.

He was going to take his damn life before he even knew he was in danger. He was going to show the world that he was the absolute strongest God to exist and that this flesh suit could never stop him from being the greatest creature to ever exist. His technique would end with Kamina swinging his katana with all of his might, just in case the first attack was somehow dodged. Kamina could have kept attacking, but he felt this would be all that he needed in order to win. How would this dammed shinobi know that he was behind him, ready to kill in the blink of an eye.

Description: Located in the region between the genitals and the anus, the Inital Gate is the first of the Hachimontonkou. It's not rare for a shinobi who uses a good deal of taijutsu to know how to unlock this gate. This gate is usually broken in order to perform a needed devastating attack or for a temporary boost to get out of a sticky situation. However, keeping this gate unlocked for an extended period of time can put a lot of strain on the user's muscles.

Description: The after image technique is the technique that allows the user to move side to side with extreme speed and towards a general direction creating an after image of the person. When learning this technique a person may only do Ten after images per day. If one wishes goes more then this number tissue has a chance to rip and tear. To be able to do more then ten per day one they must train for each again to create one more. This is the basis techniques for all techniques that may consist or deal with moves that deal with the After Image. This means that if a user wishes to know a technique that uses an after image they must have knowledge of this technique as well. Depending on how many after images a user uses within a technique is dependent on how many times this technique is known.

Moroha Inkaten (Double Edged Flash)

Effect: The swordsman uses a swift, unsheathing attack out of the Satsugai no Kamae.

Drawback: If the attack misses, the swordsman is left vulnerable and exposed.
Description: Moroha Inkaten is a Taijutsu technique where the user waits for an enemy to attack. Before the enemy's attack could land, the swordsman will swiftly unsheath his/her sword with a horizontal slash intended on slicing the throat or decapitating the enemy. Should that attack miss or is evaded, the swordsman will follow through with a secondary attack with the sheath itself. This attack can be used to block the enemy attack or used to damage the body of the enemy.
Limit: Gyakusatsu

[Aimi Kaguya]

His assault apparently successful, Aimi watched as the now battered and bruised taki ninja got back up and started to speak, started to yell and ramble. Even as his body was engulfed in the sickly flames of hell, a nasty little trick he'd learned when investigating the Venatores, he still shouted his non sense. It had to be agony - those flames were gnawing away at his very soul, that was no mere matter. And yet he boasted about how he would rend him limb from limb... it was honestly worrying. If he could withstand his body being bashed into trees and thrown about while having his soul assaulted on two fronts, and what's more laugh it off more or less, then it was clear that Aimi was dealing with either a madman or someone incredible durable in both body and soul.

This needed to end, quickly, before it got out of hand. While he was yelling about all the things he was going to do to Aimi, rage as evident as the bloody red of his aura, Aimi began to charge up his soul, preparing to shunt his way over to the man and bring the assault to him. If he could catch him before he was able to get his bearings back from this mad jumble of words he was spewing, then he had a chance to end this quickly, even with him being as fatigued as he was.

Things didn't go quite like that though. As his foe moved into his stance, Aimi's eyes went wide. Faster! he thought to himself as his attack came even sooner than the last, the dragon strike coming flying at him quicker than before! He had no way of getting in close safely with it coming directly at him like that, so he did the only thing he thought to do - he sent his soul out from his body directly to his left, putting him on the opposite side of the jungle path, his body snapping to its location as the dragon strike ripped through where he had been standing. It didn't end there though, as the man unleashed another strike in his general direction, making Aimi tense up as he prepared to physically move out of the way of this one.

He wasn't the target though, apparently, but a tree right next to him. As the tree cracked and groaned in protest to it's demise, Aimi's head snapped towards it and his body first went limp as the realization of what was about to hit him struck, then tensed up as he prepared to dodge, crouching down and flipping backwards out of the path of the tree and landed a couple of feet away from it.

Realizing that his line of sight had been broken, Aimi snapped his head up to where the man had been, seeing him down the path much closer than he had been a few moments ago. There was something off though, something that immediately struck the Kusa chunin as wrong. He was there, he looked to be standing still, as if watching him to see what he would do. But something essential was missing that made the picture complete, and for the briefest of instants he just couldn't figure out what it was, then it hit him: No Aura!!

What he was looking at wasn't his foe, it was an illusion of some kind, a trick. The lack of that murderous red aura was a dead give away. He couldn't see that aura anywhere on the path in front of him. Snapping his head around, Aimi saw it - that blood red aura and the man himself, standing behind Aimi and his hand on his sword. Time slowed, adrenaline pumped through his veins, the world stood still. As the man was drawing his sword out of its sheath, apparently not using the god-like speed that he had been using thus far, Aimi's body was turning to match his head, his left arm raising up reflexively while his right arm flexed, his sword in his grip. What could he do with it though besides mindlessly flail it around? He didn't know how to properly use a sword to combat with another when it was outside of his sheath. He had no time to use his soul again to defend himself, beyond what he was already doing, and that didn't seem to be stopping this man. Engulfed in the hellish green flames, his body battered and his soul assaulted he came for Aimi's life, as he said he would. It was as if all of the things that Aimi had been doing had meant nothing, as if he was a machine!

He simply wasn't fast enough to defend himself in his usual ways. No time to use his soul, no time to call upon the hellfire, no time to sheath his sword and redraw it for a defense. There was nothing he could do... nothing... except use his heritage. Bodily reflex combined with desperation and fatigue made his chakra course through his bones and his body did what it did best - it grew bones. From his left arm they came, springing forth and ripping through his shirt and jacket, his Kaguya heritage come at his most dire moment to block the mans' sword, cold steel meeting raw ivory.

The impact felt minimal at best. In fact, he barely felt it at all. His bones absorbed the impact quite easily, let alone how his holy judgements were helping him. There was a moment of shock, likely for himself and for his foe, as the impact of what had just happened settled in, and yet it could not be glossed over for long. The fight was still on, and desperation was now mixing with an old, innate fear.

Pushing back against the mans' blade to try and knock him off balance, Aimi dropped his sword, the blade sinking down into the ground as he opened his right palm and extended a meter long shard of bone from it, his left palm quickly following suit. In a single swift action, Aimi's body turned full on towards the man and his right arm thrust forward, striking at the mans' heart and liver in two simultaneous movements, while his left arm fluidly swung around from its position in the air down to his side, jutting out and aiming to pierce his sword arms' shoulder as well as his right knee cap. His speed with this technique was impressive, his movements graceful. There was white noise and static ringing in his ears as the only thing that prevailed above all else in that moment was not the instinct to survive, but to drive this man away, paranoia and rage fueling him on. The only thing on his mind was this:

This man knew he was a Kaguya now, and that could only mean he would try to kill him all the more fiercely. He had to kill him now, before that could happen.

Bone Pulling

Effect: A technique that allows the Kaguya member the capability of exerting, and pushing out a
bone out of their inner body.

Drawback: Whenever used the user undergoes the capability of disease under effect increasing
the calcium within their body which makes them closer to dieing unless
gaining medical treatment.
Description: The Kaguya at this stage is capable of contracting their muscles pushing their very bones upwards and out of their body when desired. They are capable of dislocating the bone within the body and begin to ease it out without much effort. Because of the bone, calcium in their body the bone is quickly replaced from the one that is eased and pushed out. The way it works is that the Kaguya has a great control within their inner body. They can control their muscles and their bones better then any creation ever. With that saying, the bones and nerves constrict around the bone greatly, as the body works as a squeezer, squeezing out the bone out of the body until it finally pops out of the skin in which is needed later on for other techniques.
Limit: Kaguya Bloodlimit. This is the basic of basics and must be known in order to use other
Jutsus of the Bloodlimit.

Yanagi no Mai (Dance of the Willows)

Effect: A TaiJutsu technique dedicated to the arts of moving fluently to attack multiple ranges
around using fluent motions while using two concentrated features along
their arms as primary weapons.

Drawback: As long as the bones are within the very palms, it slowly begins to take the effect of
the Disease as it is needed in order to keep the arm from becoming weak, and
then failing.
Description: Extending from both palms are two lance-like bone protrusions, usually around 1-1.3 meters in length, which is a little smaller than a typical katana. It takes quite a bit of balance to even begin with this graceful dance of death, for each attack is a graceful dancer-esque motion, flowing like water between each motion. As such, this very dance is quite flexible, allowing for a large range of motion from strike to strike. Thus, it is indeed possible to flow from strike to strike, or instantly change up how one would have struck before, within the motions of the arm of the human body of course. Due to this nature, it is most effective when used to battle groups or swarms of enemies, as it makes it much easier to create a perfectly harmonic balance of attack and defense. This is known as the First Dance of the Kaguya. With this dance, one is able to strike 4 different directions within 1 movement (2 with each hand). They may not concentrate the strike on one area, but will spread the strikes about them to multiple targets.

Description: There is chakra of molding, and chakra of inner molding. Because of the physical nature of the Kaguya's capability to increase the structure of their bones as well as their capability of using their Bloodlimit. The Kaguya had suddenly found a way to increase the strength within their own bones. This is the Last level of Strength of the Clan that is known for the Kaguya clan. Their bones are strong, they are capable of withstanding up to One "S" Rank and Two "A" Ranks of Jutsus before they start to break within the user. If the User does not wish to gain this however, they do not need to because of how the body personal workings.

Kamina had no way of reacting to the blocking of his sword. He never expected there to be a bone coming out of the Kusa shinobi's arm. The fact that anything existed that could do that was far beyond his scope. Then his steel blade connected with the ivory bone. Kamina had sliced through bone before. He expected it to simply slice on through the bone and still lob the head off of the Kusa shinobi. It didn't happen the way he expected it to. His sword collided with the bone and a spark flew off, as if his blade met another. The bone's strength didn't fold under the pressure of his sword. It held.

Kamina was shocked. Absolutely and full heartily shocked. His eyes widened and for a moment, he stood still. He just needed a single moment to collect his thoughts and continue the onslaught he planned on dealing to the Kusa shinobi. 'He is a God. These bones and their dexterity.. they can't be of human flesh and bone.' He thought to himself. Though, the time he spent thinking and the time he spent not moving would prove to be the pivotal point in this battle. Rather it would prove to be the true climax to this fight.

Simultaneously, two bones entered his flesh. He had no way of predicting it. No way of stopping it. Having just witnessed the man use bones that were durable enough to withstand his blade, he was in utter shock. His heart and his liver were struck by another technique made of bone. The attack wasn't an instant kill, as one could survive for a few moments after such a still fatal attack. Kamina continued to glare at him menacingly. His very first reaction to getting stabbed in the heart was for his left hand to shoot up and take hold of the Kusa shinobi's right hand that was pressed against his chest. And try to grab hold of it.

The other stabbings at this point meant nothing. He was beyond the point of feeling pain. He was already beyond his ability to receive more damage. The Kusa shinobi's soul continued to lash out at him and the hellfire continued to burn. The damage he had taken to this point was enough to make any man go unconscious. It was more than enough to kill any man that had taken it. Kamina wasn't a man! He was a God, and a vicious one at that. This damage was nothing. Slowly, as if the world around them stood still, Kamina raised his right arm above his head.

In his grip was his katana. Kamina's intense glare never faded, and an insane thing happened. A huge grin ran across his lips. That cheshire grin that he was known for came to be. With his blade above his head, his face actually showed pleasure. He was just a single stroke of his sword away from lobbing the Kusa shinobi's head off. If he could just kill the God from Kusa, perhaps he would have exactly what he needed in order to transcend back into the world of the God's. Was he happy? Yes, he was very happy.

'I wonder if I will meet Zeddicus in the realm of the God's.' He thought to himself. That was perhaps his very lost thought. He didn't move. His body remained standing tall with his katana held high above his head. His body stood firm, as did his grip on the Kusa shinobi's hand, had he actually been able to grip it. His eyes were wide open and his face was smiling that wicked smile. He may not have been dead, but he was definitely unconscious. Bleeding out from those stab wounds would surely kill him in a matter of moments. That is unless the Kusa shinobi was able to heal him in some manner.

His fate.. it was in Aimi's hands.

[Aimi Kaguya]

That grin and those eyes would be the death of him. There was no shame in admitting to the fact that Aimi was afraid, disturbed even. This man had followed him from the chunin exams, over the course of weeks and weeks, stalking him even, and had decided to ambush him here and now while he was weak, tired, and alone, steps away from his village and in the middle of a jungle where the wild life would pick his bones apart in a matter of hours. What's more, in his tired and quite frankly frail state of being, he'd been forced to use that which he kept hidden from the world in order to survive - his bones.

Memories flashed through his mind of grotesque faces, twisted by fear and rage at both him and his father, to the land of snow, the mob and all those people who had chased him away with his father on his shoulder, dragging his limp body in the snow. Digging his grave, sitting there for days. All of that fear, all of that hatred towards the general populace for making assumptions about Kaguyas, bottled up and held back for the majority of his life, germinating at this moment, on this day in the hot jungle sun, with a man who towered over him before him with his sword raised, an impish look on his face and his bones embedded in his flesh, his soul lashing out and his body aflame in unholy fire - looking to kill him, even after taking so much damage. It was entirely too much. For a moment in time, his mind broke.

"AWAY!!"

He roared, fear anchored into his face as he pulled his bones out of the man's flesh,coiled up and jumped straight up into the air, pulling his legs up to his chest and leaning his body back before unleashing them with a mighty drop kick, sending the man flying from his feet and tumbling back onto the path! Rolling through the air and landing on the ground on all fours, Aimi's head snapped up towards where the man lay and he let our a cry of primal fear. "GRAAH!!"

Reaching back into his butt bags with both hands, he pulled out a set of eight shuriken and threw them all at the man, embedding each one into his dying flesh as they traveled in a small, narrow arch. Not finished there, delirium taking over where fatigue had limited him before, he threw his arms out in front of him and pointed all ten of his fingers at the man, pushing the finger bones out from the ends of his fingers and firing all ten of them at the body, embedding his bones into his flesh once again.

He stood panting, watching, eyes wide with fear and practically shaking. He was gone, his mind just a complete blank as the throws of panic overtook him. Yet, the body didn't move. Before long, the flames were extinguished and what was left was just a dead man with eight shuriken stuck in his body or having left gashes across his flesh and 14 puncture wounds.

"...What... oh no..." Aimi said to himself, as the repressed fear was suddenly accompanied by an ever more familiar presence - death. The golden haired Kusa stood up slowly, retracting the bones sticking out of his left forearm back into his body. He walked over slowly towards the man, the realization of what had just happened washing over him. He'd killed someone... again... he hadn't wanted to. He'd been willing to, but not like this. Not with his bones, not in this way.

The world began to crumble around him. He just, couldn't, take it anymore. This whole outing had been the worst roller coaster of his life! The Chunin exams were a literal mental cluster fuck the entire time, the impossibility of them making him paranoid as to the usage of genjutsu throughout the entire thing, he'd gotten lost on the way home, had been forced to kill innocents for the very first time in his life, (it might have been in self defense, but it was still indirectly forced upon him by that bitch Dye and her henchman that was there that day, the one Loki killed), and now he'd been forced to kill again in self defense! This was different though, he'd done it with his bones! He never used his bones, why had he used them!? Had he really had no other way? Was there nothing he could do to ward him off, maybe even not kill him? Had he truly been so vulnerable...?

Aimi began to shake. It felt as if the air around him was crackling, the wind conspiring against him to shatter his overtly fragile mind, the wild life of insects and animals in the jungle a chorus, a mob of excited onlookers telling him - demanding of him - to snap. At the tips of his fingers, he could feel them - his bones, the ones he had used to stab the man four times. What blood didn't drip from them was caked onto them, dried quickly from the jungle heat. There was blood on his clothes. Aimi looked away from the now dead and looked over himself, at the bones extending from his palms, the splatters of blood on his white clothing, the holes in his left jacket arm. In one place, the fabric was so frayed that it was barely hanging on to the rest of his sleeve. He could see that he was shaking, he could feel that his breath was coming in shuddering gasps. Was he crying? He couldn't tell, he felt like a wave of numbness was washing over him, trickling down his person like a nest of spiders which had just hatched and were crawling over him looking for food. He was uncomfortable, he was angry, panicked, tired and afraid and he just couldn't take this anymore!!

With a sickeningly bestial grunt, a growl that actually hurt his throat to vocalize, Aimi pulled the bone back into his right palm, shot it back up into himself more like, before reaching over and grabbing the bone sticking from his left palm and wrenching it from his hand, separating the bone from his skin! Clutching the sacrificial dagger tightly, he held it high up over his head, letting out a scream that carried his hatred, anguish and despair, ringing out through the surrounding jungle and becoming the crescendo note in a cacophony of screaming voices as he brought it plunging down into the man's chest, falling to his knees as he did so.

Pulling the shard of bone from him, he held it up and thrust it down into his cavity again, and again, and again and again! Blood splatters went all around him, landing on the ground, his hair, his clothing, his face. He grunted, he screamed, he cried and shed tears. When his right arm got tired, he switched to his left. When his back was tired, he planted his fist on the ground and continued to shank his corpse. Over and over again he stabbed into the man, his abnormally hard bones breaking his as he punctured his flesh over and over, eventually leaving his entire torso a gaping bloody mess of gore, bone and meat and blood and organs all mixed together into some sort of horrid mashed potatoes.

Eventually, after hours, minutes, who could really say? Aimi stopped and just panted and cried. He wailed his eyes out, dropping the shard of bone and moving his hands up over his eyes. He didn't even know this man's name... this was different from the brain washed thugs in the forest where he'd met Loki. They were people, sure, but at the same time little more than pawns. Their deaths had only angered him, but this one was different, not just in the way that he had died. Aimi knew this man, even if only briefly. He'd seen his soul. He had had dreams and aspirations all his own, and he'd robbed them from him so that he might live. He cried, cried for the man, cried for his father, and cried for himself. It was a cry long over due, his warm tears mixing in with the salt of his sweat and the mans' blood.

Eventually, though, he stopped and just breathed, shuddering, collapsed on his knees, his mind numb and white. His thoughts came back to him slowly. He thought, What have I been doing all this time? I've been hiding, scared of people, worried they might try to kill me or chase me away... but this man wasn't afraid... he attacked me to... attack me. It wasn't because I was a Kaguya, he did it for some other purpose. But it was because I was a Kaguya that I've survived, that I'm not him now instead of me. I am a Kaguya... my father... always told me what a proud people we were... how people were afraid of us... how elegant we were... how we danced... have I been wrong all this time...?

Aimi didn't know how long he sat there, but as he sat, he knew he had to make a choice. This was a turning point in his life, one he couldn't walk away from. He was a chunin now, and he needed to choose - will he continue to hide his kekkei genkai from the world, or embrace it? Will he continue living in fear, or take a look at his fathers teachings one more time and see if there wasn't something he'd misunderstood? He was a chunin now. He had to chose.

The tears stopped. His breathing became easy. The sky was a dark orange when he stood up from his place on the ground, jeans soaked in the mans blood as it had pooled around him, feet stained red and foot wrappings utterly ruined because of it. He felt light, as if the breeze would knock him over and carry him away, but heavy as if he were in water. He'd made his choice... and it was time to go face it. Snapping his fingers, the jungle floor behind him erupted in a pool of hellish flames, opening up and engulfing tree and shrub alike. Birds cawed in fear of the flames and flew away, life scattered away from the hellfire, but Aimi stood still and looked down at the man again. He would not leave him here on the path to rot and be eaten by scavengers. To this man he owed his choice, and he would pay him respectfully for it.

He bent down and grabbed a hold of the mans' leg, picking it up and turning towards the pit of fire he had created. "Burn in hell," he said weakly, his voice strained from yelling and crying for so long. With that, he tossed the man's body into the pool of green fire, dragging him along the ground and letting go of him at the edge, letting gravity drag his legs under and using his bloodied foot to nudge him the rest of the way in. He disappeared, vanishing into a flaming portal to Hell itself, consumed by the flames for all time. A fitting end for a man who tried to attack strangers on the road.

Turning away from the pit, Aimi went and picked up his sword and sheathed it slowly, the quit click of tsuba meeting sheath like an affirmation to him. He turned down the path and walked slowly towards the Kusagakure, leaving behind him the fake name of Aimi Arisato, and walking forward into the future, and Aimi Kaguya, reborn.
