Himrame was pondering what to teach the young shinobi on her way to the academy. She didn't have anything to teach them patcuraly unless they all happened to be Abruame like her. The techniques she knew were all advanced and not within there range of learning sadly until it dawned on her that Hirame did have such a technique which she could teach them. Her boxing was something simple and useful she could teach the young children helping them with movement and the ability to control and shift weight. Footwork is a great foundation to have.
It didn't take long to reach the academy as Hirame figured it would be a good of if an to make a interesting entrance. Launching her soul up 10m in to the air she would have looked below to see all the students out in the training area with the teacher at the head launching her soulforward 10m and finally down 10m appearing as she stood tall fixing the sniper goggles on her face. The teacher was slightly startled as the kids looked at her in awe.
"Hirame Aburame, I will be your substitute teacher today." Hirame would state standing tall and firm as she looked over the children and the training area. She turned her head to face the instructor who nodded before disappearing in a puff of smoke. "Today I will be teaching you a useful technique that will not only help you in hand quarters combat but will be a good thing to help overall with keeping on your feet and agility. Quick show of hands have you all been taught the either of the 2 boxing stances." To her surprise they all raised her hands causing Hirame to feel at ease not having to bother teaching them the basic stances. "Perfect, now since there are 20 of you get in to 5 lines, 4 people in each line we're going to be running drills." She ordered all of them easily following her directions and orders. "First you all will be doing side shuffles for 10 minutes start!" Hirame suddenly yelled catching the kids off guard as they all started to do repeated side shuffles. She walked along examining the kids here and there shouting out specific instructions and fixes every time she saw a mistake. Hirame had made sure that they all moved on the balls of their feet otherwise it would defeat the purpose of the training.
After a grueling 10 minutes Hirame felt that they were done for the moment. "Everyone stop, you get a 5 minute break!" She yelled sighing as she went to go lean against a wall seeing as most of the kids fell to the ground in exhaustion while others just panted. Taijutsu was no joke as with all ninja training. Moving on to the rest of the lesson Hirame was debating what to do next. Now that they had the basic motion it was time to give it a more practical use to finalize the memory in to their body. "Times up everyone pair up, groups of 2 and no more. Spread out to give everyone space!" Hirame would yell getting off the wall putting her hands behind her back waiting for them all to find a partner and spread out. "I'm going to explain this once, there are two of you. One person is the attacker the other is the defender. The defender will dodge the attacker by using their footwork to dodge. When the attacker lands a hit you switch. We'll keep this up for 30 minutes. I'll demonstrate any volunteer?" Hirame would ask performing seals as she would have transformed in to a younger version of herself. A youn girl would have walked forward slightly taller than her as Hirame nodded taking up a boxing stance and lightly bouncing on her toes." You'll be the attacker so come at at me." The girl mimicked Hirame with the same stance however the initial attack was a wild punch which Hirame easily switched her feet before moving out of the way and to the girls side continuing to dodge a barrage of attacks before the girl was worn out as Hirame undid the transformation. "Now that you all have a example hurry up and get started!." She would bark giving a thumbs up to the young girl as she headed back towards her own partner.
From Hirame's point of view they were all starting to get the hang of it. This exercise in particular was great for training because it forced you to constantly try and better yourself against your partner to land the next hit and also try and dodge so it was equally worked both sides. It brought back times of her youth traveling and learning to fight with her insects. All of the bandits she took out with her friend before coming to join Taki. Shaking her head she went back to focusing on her class who by now was exhausted from the continuous movement. "Worked them hard I see." A voice said from her side which belonged to the teacher she had been subbing for. "Taught them footwork to help enhance their boxing skills a little bit." Hirame would say walking towards the exit. "I'm not finished with them yet however. Teach them a bit more and i'll be sure to come back." Hirame would add as the teacher waved her off before she was off in to the distance. This teacher thing could work, not to mention she work more on individualized training. Her own batch of Taki ninja...it had a nice ring to her.
Upright Stance
Rank: "E"
Skill: TaiJutsu
Effect: A Basic upright stance used in boxing.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Picture To adopt an Upright Stance, you should stand with your legs roughly shoulder-width apart. Your back foot should be about half a step behind your front foot. If your dominant boxing hand is your right hand, your left foot will lead. Lift your right heel off the ground by about 3 inches and point both feet inward (although do not exaggerate this movement). If you lift your heel too far off the ground, or turn your feet too far inward, you will become unbalanced. As a test, imagine someone pushing you from any direction. In a properly balanced stance, you should be able to maintain an upright position and not fall to the ground or sway from side to side. To increase the stability of your stance, keep your knees and hips slightly bent but make sure your back is straight. Your lead fist (which will be your left fist if your dominant boxing hand is your right hand) should be positioned vertically at eye level, approximately six inches away from your face. Your right fist should be positioned next to your chin, with your elbow held against your ribcage. This is good defensive positioning and will effectively protect your body. Whilst watching televised boxing matches, you may have noticed the boxers tapping their cheeks with their hands. This repetitive action acts as a reminder to keep fists up at all times and is especially important as the match progresses and energy levels drop. To further protect yourself from blows from your opponent, keep your chin pressed against your chest. Punches to the jaw often cause knock-outs, so it is essential to keep this stance throughout the boxing match.
Limit: Must learn in a gym that teaches Bokushingu (Boxing)
Soul Shunt
Rank: "D"
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: User moves their soul and then snap to where it's at.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Target is personal. Range is 10 meters. Duration is Instantaneous. User's soul races from their body and then the user snaps to where their soul stops. User makes a 10 meter step (unaffected by gravity or objects) and the user snaps to its spot. Takes a Movement equal in Handseals to Perform, but instantaneous for the effect. If the user's soul is beyond a solid object after the 10 meters and there is no way for the body to follow the user will move to the object and the soul will meet the user there. This ability cannot be used to scout, user's soul only goes where the user told it. If a creature has Chakra Sight, True Seeing, they can see the user's soul as it moves about.
Limit: Must be a Soulcaster.
Footwork
Rank: "D"
Skill: TaiJutsu
Effect: A simple technique in which is needed to know in order to keep the boxer moving keeping them light on their toes against opponents.
Special: ---
Drawback: Get caught flat-footed and you will be vulnerable to counterpunches.
Description: Keep your weight balanced on both feet. Stay on the balls of your feet so you can attack, spin or retreat quickly to safety. Practice moving side to side or in a circular motion around your opponent. Shift and shuffle your feet quickly, but keep them close to the ground so you have a solid base under you. Switch stances often when training. This means you'll change which foot is in front. Work your calf muscles by jumping rope, biking and doing bag drills while moving constantly. Good footwork requires training with an integrated approach to movement, strategy, punches thrown and balance. It all has to work together, so you should always be thinking about your footwork.
Limit: Must learn in a gym that teaches Bokushingu (Boxing), Must know Upright Stance or Semi-Crouch
