Pax was ready for anything, bandits, ninja, samurai, alien fish hookers from another planet... Pax was ready for everything except the Six Hell Spawns known as; Kibbles, Caesar, Lucretia, Vivian, Ludleth, and Toto, in no specific order. Pax had signed up for an easy job and was about to find out the hard way that some dogs just hate you. None more than Toto however. The job seemed simple, 6 dogs all have to be walked, fed and kept inside the building at all other times.
First off we have Kibbles, he's a good boy. Pax was able to connect pretty well with Kibbles since all he does is eat and sleep. Kibbles peed when he had to be walked, ate his food no problem, and had no chance of getting out at all. So Pax grew fond of Kibbles very quickly, and Kibbles to a lesser extent, felt the same way.
Caesar, even his name is pretentious and douchey. Its not pronounced like the chicken salad its pronounced the way the Romans would have said it "Kaeczar." Not only was he named after a well known ruler, he acted like we was god's gift to earth. During walks Caesar would only walk if he was in front of the other 5 dogs and when he had to pee. Well lets say if anything was looking Caesar wouldn't even give it a second thought. And oh god, feeding this dog was like trying to feed a child. It would only eat cooked sirloin steak sliced up for him, and fed to him on a fork. As for containing this dog, he was pretty well behaved, must have been tired from being with all the common folk all day.
Pax knew by the name that this next dog was going to be something else, a whole different league. Lucretia couldn't ever make up her mind. "I'm actually not sure what her name refers but I think its gotta be some crazy broad." Pax answered the disembodied question succumbing to the darkness of this dog's mind games. The walk. This triggers PTSD flashbacks in Pax to this day. This dog did not know when to go or when to stop, it almost intentionally pissed on the smaller dog Vivian but instead got Pax. The food wasn't too bad, since Pax had already cooked for Caesar the dog ate the left overs of his meal no problem. Since Lucretia was a medium sized dog, you'd think she'd be easy to keep an eye on inside the house? think again! Pax almost lost all his hair closing and re-locking doors after, time and time again.
Vivian and Ludleth are definition partners in crime. Twin small sized "yipper" dogs. Not much to tell on either individually, but when they worked together it was hell. During the walk they couldn't do much since the other dogs walked over them and dragged them, and Pax, along for half the walk. During chow time the two dogs set up a trip wire and caused Pax to fall on his face, only to ruin Caesar's first plate of dinner, and get all the dogs going crazy. As for keeping the dogs in side it was easy, but in sight was impossible. If it wasn't for the owner finding them before Pax had left he would have failed the mission all thanks to the two little shih tzus.
Toto is the dog of nightmares the original Cerberus. Literally, Toto was a 30 foot hell dog with 3 heads. This thing was also a very calm and well trained puppy. Great for the walk until it got excited. Great for eating till it ate a neighbor. Yet if it wasn't for Toto showing their owner where Vivian and Ludleth were, Pax would have failed his mission. The elderly woman thanked Pax multiple times for working on such short notice and asked if he'd be available for next week. Before she could finish her sentence Pax had run away.
