Objective: Help a team of searchers locate a missing teen.
Description: A teenage girl has gone missing from a party at her house last night. It is suspected that she had left with a boyfriend or a couple of friends despite she was instructed to remain in her room. Her parents have asked for a team of up to three shinobi to track down the daughter and bring her back to the house and to report who she was with upon finding her.
Reward: 3,125 Ryo for a Non-Ninja; 4,000 Ryo for a Ninja.
Walking to the house of the missing teenage girl, Yamato thought about his mission. He was supposed to be helping a group of searchers look for a teen that had gone missing. It seemed that the teen had disobeyed her parent's instructions and left the house, when she was supposed to remain in her room. Who she left with was a mystery. One that he needed to solve.
After a few minutes of traversing the village, Yamato arrived at the designated house. Knocking on the door, he waited patiently for someone to come and answer it. He didn't have to wait long. The parents of the teen let him inside and had him sit at a nearby table with them. It was there that they talked to him about where they thought there daughter had gone.
After talking with the parents for a few minutes, Yamato was able to grasp the overall situation better. Their daughter either left with some very close friends, or her boyfriend that they didn't approve of. He didn't know which one it was since he didn't have enough information to go on. The parents of the teen also told him that their daughter more than likely went out camping in the northern outskirts of the village. The reason they knew this was because most of their camping supplies were missing and the family had gone camping together on the outskirts before.
Normally they would've gone looking themselves, but they weren't trackers. Not only that, but they didn't want to get lost while looking for their lost daughter. As he digested the information he was given, Yamato thanked the parents for letting him know what was going on. After that he headed out of the house and to the northern outskirts of the village. It was time to find this missing teen.
It took Yamato fifteen minutes of traveling to leave the village. Once he was out of it, he kept a look out for any tracks. There were footprints in the dirt, but he didn't know if it was the missing teen. Takigakure was a village after all, so there were bound to be a lot of people coming and going. Hmm, this might prove to be quite challenging.
Seeing as how he was getting nowhere, Yamato headed north. The parents had given him a vague area of where they had camped last time, and he didn't even know if the daughter was there. Hopefully she was because he didn't want to spent the rest of the day looking for her. Rather than try looking for hard to see footprints, Yamato looked for an area that looked nice. No one wanted to camp in an ugly location after all.
It took him an hour and a half before he found what he was looking for. Just on the edge of the forest was a tent with a campfire next to it. Touching the remnants of the campfire, Yamato noticed that it was still cold. This meant that they were still sleeping then. Walking towards the tent, he peeked his head in. Inside were two sleeping people. One female teen that resembled the daughter the parents were looking for, an a young adult man. Sticking his head back out, he looked around. He needed to wake them up, but he didn't really want to go into such an enclosed space.
After a few minutes of thinking, Yamato came up with an idea. Pulling at the string and the posts of the the tent, he watched as it collapsed on the sleeping couple. The moment the tent cover pressed tightly against their bodies, they woke up and began to struggle. After a few minutes of fiddling about, they managed to escape the tent wide eyed.
Coughing to get their attention, Yamato looked towards the girl.
"You need to come with me. Your parents are looking for you."
Before the girl could speak, the man that was beside her walked up to Yamato and stood in front of him with a cocky expression on his face.
"She's not going anywhere."
Sure Yamato could've explained that he was on a mission and that her parents were desperate to have her back, but that was not the type of man he was. Instead he responded by punching the man in the stomach. The moment the man bent down to grab his stomach, Yamato kneed him in the face. With a loud crack, the nose on the man's face broke.
"Joe!"
As the man collapsed to the ground in pain, Yamato bend down next to him and began to speak.
"If I found out that you been seeing her again without her parent's permission, I'm going to do a lot worse."
Kicking him on his head for good measure, Yamato turned towards the girl. Seeing as how he had just beat up her boyfriend, she was not pleased with him. She began to yell and shout at him about how her boyfriend was the best and how he was a monster. A quick hit to the back of the head shut her up.
Tossing the boyfriend into the tent, Yamato tied it up with a rope. It would take quite a bit of time for the boyfriend to get out of the tent now. For good measure, he threw a few more kicks at the boyfriend's side. Yamato really did not like people getting in his face. Maybe this time the boyfriend would learn how to carefully pick his battles.
Slinging the girl across his back, Yamato winched as her face slammed into his back. Damn, that was going to leave a mark. He would just have to tell her parents that it was her boyfriend who did it. By the time they realized the truth, he would be long gone.
The next thirty minutes passed by quickly as Yamato returned the girl home. He told the parents that she had tripped and knocked herself out, hence the reason he was carrying her home. They believed his story and thanked him for the hard work. Heading outside, he made his way towards the tower. It was time to collect his pay.
