Nyu walked in to the tavern wearing her typical clean cut outfit with her two katanas at her side.It was well maintained yet empty except for the bartender in the back. He looked to be a old feeble man who was simply polishing a glass bottle. The place itself had decent polished wooden tables and matching chairs that were of average quality. Immediately she walked towards the bar with a smile on her face as she took a seat getting a whistle from the bartender."And what can I get you to drink?" He said looking her up and down with a smirk as she held up a palm of denial. "Forgive me, i'm actually in here looking for work if you know where I can find it." She would say folding her arms in her seat slightly tapping as she awaited for a response. "Oh, well there is something I have if your up for it." The old man replied setting down the glass he was in the midst of polishing. "DO tell." She said internally feeling a bit impatient. "A nearby town that's just straight ahead from this tavern supposedly got attacked and claimed by bandits. Forced to give tributes and such. Someone came by here secretly in a cloak and told me to pass the message to anyone who could handle it and they would reward them." Nyu was sold as she she stood up with a bow before exiting.
It wasn't like her to go out and save people because they were meant to die already. But she did need money and in a situation like this.Sighing she headed out of the tavern in to the woods in the direction towards the village. It had been far too long since she had the pleasure of facing someone in combat. And what better opportunity to get her feet wet.
Traits
Bewitching
Rank: "C"
Skill: Heritage Trait
Effect: A trait that allows the user to speak while manipulating the feelings of others.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Some humans have an uncanny ability to manipulate others, often due to an alluring physical trait. When dealing with NPCs whose starting attitude toward them is not Hostile, they can choose to use this ability to temporarily improve their attitude toward those NPCs by a greater degree than normal. When speaking, treat the NPC’s starting attitude as 1 level higher than it actually is for the purpose of determining their new attitude. The NPC’s new attitude lasts only for a number of minutes equal to 2 per Class level. After that time, the attitude returns to the state it was before the user spoke. If circumstances in the interim have rendered the NPC violent or hostile (such as from being attacked by the bewitcher), the NPC’s attitude remains where it is (rather than returning to its original state). This trait replaces 1 Freebies.
