Effect: User is able to launch their cigarette or cigar at an opponent at great speeds as the cherry of the two bursts into a small flame when hitting target.

Description: The user takes a puff out of their cigarette or cigar until a little red is shown. The user then launches the item towards the opponent by spitting it out up to a distance of ten meters. When the item hits against the designated target it bursts into a small flame. This may be used to ignite flammable objects, or distract an opponent. The burst of flame blows within the size of half a meter.

Limit: Must be a member of the Kasutā clan.

Alex stood at the outskirts of town. There in the woods was a dense jungle vegetation of along the outskirts of the town. There around him there were a good ways away from the Village itself. From where Alex stood he he could see the faint shape of the village just over the hill. There in front of him was a snot noised little kid who Alex was being paid to take care of. His name was Konjo Teruo. This is where Alex needed to start with training this kid. He needed to teach his punk ass survival. The first step was going to teach him the first most important thing about survival. Survival was brutal. Survival didn't care about your name, where the fuck you came from or any of that other garbage. 

The kid stepped forwards and politely extended his arm outwards. "um... hi mister my name i-" Alex flicked his cigarette at the kids face catching him in the face with and sending hot embers across his face. The kid tried to slap the hot cherry from his face. The kid recoiled back in pain and looked up in anger in confusion. "awww what the hell ma-." Alex threw a right hook and clocked the kid across the jaw sending him to the dirt. Alex looked at his knuckles and started to shake his hand. He might have put just a little to much ump in that last hit. The kid lay motionless on the ground. 

Alex reached into his pocket and pulled out a cigarette and stuck it in his mouth. He stared at the seemingly lifeless kid on the floor. Alex pulled out his brass lighter and lit his cigarette taking a long drag. Alex waited a few minutes looking at the kid. "You gonna get up? or are we just gonna lie around all day? The kid began to stir and wordlessly and look up at Alex. Alex let the moments pass before finally speaking. "Good. You are learning." Taking another long drag Alex continued. "For the rest of the day you will only speak when spoken to or if you have a question do you understand?"

The kid simply nodded and Alex sat down on a tree stump and pulled the cigarette out of his mouth. "Listen kid.  You are here because you suck at survival. I am here because I am a survivor. You get me?" The kid nodded once more. Alex looked at his dumb little face and he could tell the kid didn't get it. He wanted to get it, but he simply didn't. Alex sighed and continued. "In the real world survival is a bitch. You need to be ready to change how you behave, act and perform in every aspect of survival." Alex took a moment to let the words hang in the air. Taking another drag of his cigarette Alex looked up and the sky and let out his own smokey cloud into the air. Depending on your situation you may need to prioritize certain elements of survival over others. 

Alex put the cigarette back in his mouth. "Alright kid, lets run a scenario out real quick. You and your squad were on a mission in enemy territory. You were discovered and had to flee. During this whole escapade everyone got separated. You are now out alone, in enemy territory with no real understanding of where you are. What is our first priority?" Alex looked at the kid inquisitively and pressed him for answers. Finally after mulling the question over for a few seconds the kid spoke up. "I'd need to find water... Right?" Alex would look at the kid and gave at him sternly. "Why?" The seemed flustered and started to back track on his words. "I didn't say you were wrong. I asked why." 

The kid finally chirped back up with some new confidence. "Because the human body can survive for a long time without food but can only last so long without water. Shiki let the kid continue as he started talking about all the physiological effects that water could have on the body. Most of his facts were close enough but some of them were inaccurate.

"You aren't wrong kid. But if we did things your way you would just be a very well hydrated corpse.". Alex took another long drag out of his cigarette and set the to his side. Letting out a thin formless cloud of smoke Alex turned and looked at kid once more. "In a situation concerning your survival it is essential that you prioritize your aspects of survival. In this case avoiding to be captured and killed by the enemy takes priority. Being able to survive capture is the first and foremost survival point you need to make. Comfort, water, food being cold or hot. All of that is your secondary thoughts in a survival situation. "

Alex took another long drag out of his cigarette and ashed the head of the cigarette on the ground in front of him. Alex kept his face blank for a moment before continuing on. "Water comes next as you said, then comes shelter and temperature control and at the very end you have to find food. Finding food is easy but its really about knowing how to find simple protein. Pound per pound and ounce per ounce finding protein is the quickest way to get calories into your body. Bugs are really the easiest way to hunt. But as a ninja finding small animals is an easy way to stay moving. Its simple shit really. Don't eat things that are already dead. Alex paused and let the moments pass a bit as the kid took notes.

There are a bunch of different traps and snares you can make to catch wildlife, fish and other things. So here... Alex rummaged around into his bag and tossed the book at the kid. It was way beyond his level of survival knowledge that he needed to know. Alex wasn't sure how he got the book. There was so many things that were advanced survival techniques that were inside that survival book. It was an old edition of a anbu survival manual that somehow Alex had gotten a hold of in some off site storage in his house. Inside of it was hundreds of notes that had been scrawled meticulously into the pages.

Alex handed the kid the book and over the next few hours teaching the kid how to make smokeless fires using a fire hole method. He gathered up a bunch of kindling and started showing him how to make a fire using a fire bow. Finally after making the fire Alex showed the proper way to contain the heat and how to keep yourself warm without creating a lot of light from the fire. Alex showed him how to make a bed out of the warm coals and how to keep warmth in a bed. Alex then showed him how to properly put out a fire quickly and how to properly stow away the flames.

Ending on a note of teaching Alex turned and faced the kid once more. It was time to get a little bit more serious with the kid. "Listen kid. The most important part of this lesson is whats about to come out of my mouth." Alex flicked his cigarette out of his hands and into the camp fire. "Survival isn't just drinking water and eating food. It's not just about avoiding capture. It's a mindset. If you don't actively stay alert and constantly look to overcome your situation you will die. Complacency is death in survival do you understand? Alex said his goodbyes to the kid and walked back towards the village. Only time would tell if he learned his lesson.
