Lore, Canine (Hills/Forests)
Rank: "E"
Skill: Skill
Effect: This skill enables a character to observe the actions or habitat of an animal and interpret what is going on as well as identifying said animal.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Actions can show how dangerous the creature is, whether it is hungry, protecting its young, or defending a nearby den. Furthermore, careful observation of signs and behaviors can even indicate the location of a water hole, animal herds, predators, or impending danger, such as a forest fire. A successful check means the character understands the basic actions of the creature, as well as the type of creature it is. A character may also imitate the calls and cries of animals that he is reasonably familiar with, based on the knowledge (user must learn per Region). This ability is limited by volume. A successful check means that only Chakra means can distinguish the character's call from that of a true animal. The cry is sufficient to fool animals, perhaps frightening them away or luring them closer. When learning the user must choose per Region and they may only have knowledge of Animals creatures. Each Skill level allows the user knowledge of each Animal category (Example: Novice can identify Common Animals, Master can identify Nearly Impossible Animals) within a region. Each time learned user gets 5 die roll to increase the skill.
Limit: ---
The Kedoin sat in a thick shrub. Prongs from a branch stuck his side as he rustled around, keeping a squinted eye focused right on a pack of wolves. The Faceless had ventured a few kilometers out from his village in order to catch a glimpse of the animals in action. He had cautiously made his way through the tall grass on the outskirts of Kusagakure on that night; his wary eye on the blades of grass, hoping not to be caught off guard by the very beasts he sought after. He knew that they often had to resort to prowling these grounds if the hunt was not particularly plentiful in the hills they originate from.
To assist with the task of tracking and observing the animals, Koichi employed the use of his night-vision goggles. With it fastened around his head, he pulled the device down over his eyes and toggled the gadget on. His vision turned a variety of different shades of green and illuminated spots which were shrouded by darkness previously. Two husky figures shuffled in the peripheral of the Faceless' sight. Of these two, one had a coat completely turned a dull gray, and the other had a fresher coat of black, like a well-oiled paint that glistened in the moonlight. The alpha and the runt of a pack it seems, Koichi thought. The alpha had an air of confidence as he set his bottom down and perked its head up high, almost seemingly straining as its snout reached for the sky. Its vocal cords tensed, and then released a vibration noticeably before a high-pitched Awoooooooooo broke the night's serenity.
The young wolf followed its pack leader's movements, but only let out a faint yelp that sounded more like a small dog bickering to get its owner's attention. The Kedoin darts his head towards another howl as it breaks out on a hill past the foliage of small trees on his left. The ninja kept still as he continued to overhear the conversation between the two. The time between howls slowly stilled, and the one that was farther seemed to draw nearer. He felt his skin shudder, and the hair on the back of his neck stood up straight. A silence took place and a shape appeared beside the alpha and the runt. The shape, as it drew closer, looked to be an adult wolf with patches of gray covering its already-fading black coat. It ran around the wolves, delighted, smelling and licking as it went. A family reunited it seems. The Faceless one took notice of the purpose of the howling; a lost pack member was able to find its way back to the group. The two elder wolves, who could be assumed to be parents, nudged their young one on down a path on the hill and then, together, they moved off into the woods.

Night-vision Vision
Rank: "B"
Type: Secondary, 0 per Slot, Gadget, Surveillance, Vision
Effect: An electro-optical image intensifying vision that detects visible and near-infrared energy, intensifies the energy, and provides a visible image for night viewing.
Special: ---
Drawback: Blinds a user when a bright light appears.
Description: Night-vision works by magnifying existing light (enemy flashlight, moonlight, starlight) so that the user can see like they would during the day. Their advantages are the small weight, size and the detailed images they bring, while consuming little power. A downfall with this vision is that larger objects seem to be closer than smaller ones. Capable of seeing through light fog, rain, and smoke.
