Name: Into the Maelstrom Rank: C [ B rank status obtained ] IIC Length: 24 hours Difficulty: Extremely Hard Description: It has been told that a hagraven [Luitgard] finds her nest on the isle of Uzu kuni. She has many years, perhaps even thousands, of knowledge in the arcane arts of Force ninjutsu, and Soulcaster techniques. Kirigakure would like to learn more about this woman ---- Now go find her. Objective: Find the elder witch on the Isle of Whirlpool. [ Captured ]
Name: Settling Mist Rank: B IIC Length: [ postponed ] Difficulty: Unknown Description: The Nations of Grass and Mist have arranged a neutral meeting on the Whirlpool Isle. Both -kages of the respective no Sato's are looking for amiable terms, but one can never be so sure when dealing with shinobi... Protect Lord Kaguya and welcome your distant land allies. Objective: Travel to Uzu no Kuni with the Rokudaime Mizukage to act as a second personal aide.
At the helm of the trio, the lavender donning Mizukage moved swiftly, his herculean frame sharp in its movements despite all of the muscle he possessed. The linen on his shape twisted in the wild; his garments were loose fitting about the torso, and exposed his large chest as he dashed forward with keen eyes. These lands were foreign to the man, but his ANBU Dragon knew how to traverse the path, he motioned for her to retain her status as Captain, and moved opposite dandead10 as the forest opened up to them..

Ahead of them lay two objectives: one, to meet the Kusakage, and find middle ground with the man in order to form some sort of alliance; and two, to find Baachan Kagome, an elder hagraven living somewhere within the realm of Uzu no Kuni. It is told that she knows of the Force Ninjutsu, -'d to a higher degree than any shinobi in Kirigakure. The task here is to find her before meeting with the Grass Shadow, and perhaps present her as a peace offering to the man. If not instead taking her back to Thales, were the Jounin in the Hamaguri district could use her to fight the ghouls of that region in Kirigakure no Sato.
As the weaponless man moved, he remained silent. With so much going on in his head, he had little time to talk; but only to act and move. He would hope Senshi would get into the trill of things and stop asking questions. They would all soon enough find what answers they sought. Hyobe's wife, the Tatsu Taichou, veered left sharply and caused them to move in that direction. It would seem her Sensor skills were put on alert.
The young gennin had followed her Kage silently as she seemed to be focusing on the sights in front of her. She observed the surroundings with a look of interest as she ran alongside her leader and his spouse. She was a bit stern as she had scanned the area left and right with her amber eyes. This was a new location, and even though she wasn't informed what the three were looking for, she followed obediently. Who was she to question anyways?
She was on a job and didn't have time to be fooling around. She had wished she could have gotten to know the Dragon ANBU a bit more, but perhaps in the future she would have another opportunity. The young and somewhat inexperienced girl had tried to keep up with the older members as she thought about her future. What did it hold for her, and what adventures would she come to hold in her hands? She was getting stronger all the time, but yet felt as if she hadn't accomplished much in her life. She wondered her value and worth but would shake those thoughts as she solemnly followed without complaint.
Lord Hyobe, with practiced movements, raced through trees as varying heights, while scanning the environment around him. Having been so used to the misty laden lands of Thales, these of Uzu no Kuni brought flourishing fauna to his eyes; despite the autumn season, most trees kept their green color, whereas others turned amber as if on fire. Even most of the wildlife here was different from the jungle regions of Mizu.
"Hey, Senshi," the Mizukage called out. They had come to a stop in a grotto on the south western side of the country, and from their vantage, they could see out over on to the coast line of this border of Whirlpool... "Beyond this passage of water lies the Land of Fire; home to Konohagakure no Sato. Have you heard of it?" From having been a man sent on many missions before his time under the title of Mizukage, Hyobe was well traveled. He had gone to many lands, aside from the arid Wind desert and mountainous Earth countries. While the ANBU Dragon Commander meditated to hone her sensing abilities, these two took a bit of down time.
As the party of three had stopped, the young Senshi had drank a small bit of water from her canteen as she caught her breath. She had been addressed by her lord, and so she had turned to answer his question. "Hai Mizukage-Sama. I have heard of Konohagakure in my school lectures and textbooks, but I have never been there myself. I hope to one day explore the world and become a strong Kunoichi so that one day I may take the mantle of Mizukage from you."
The young child had looked to the bright sky as the plant life and environment was certainly different than anything Senshi's ever seen in her short life. She held her hand out to the clouds before lowering it and sighing gently. She didn't really have anything to say to the Mizukage...although she did want to ask him something. "If I may ask. What do you think I may need to become a Chunin Mizukage-Sama? I've trained long and hard and I seek the fruits of my labor." The girl's amber eyes had looked to the tall man as she kept her mind open. She looked somewhat bored as it seemed she didn't have much to do lately.
Hyobe offered a small laugh in riposte to the child's comment on taking the title of Mizukage from him: "Aye.." His body still continued to rest as his wife's sensory skills were being put to the test in the search for this Whirlpool Force witch. As the kunoichi Genin before him began to ask of Chunin aspirations, the Kaguya -kage looked at her closely.
"Even though you are young, Senshi, you have proven yourself numerous times in the missions that the receptionist Taichou Kenji has sent you on. Do you not feel ready?" Wondering a moment, he would allow her to answer before continuing;
"In the line of shinobi-iri, it is not just what you can do as a ninja. But what can't you do? For example, I am kage-level: I practice the arts of the body and several branches of ninjutsu, but do those things qualify to consider me your Mizukage? As one climbs the ladder of the ninja ranking system, things become more aware to them... like, are you able to sense the motive of your comrades or enemies as a Genin? What level of observation or even tracking do you possess now? Again, me being a -kage has a lot more to do with my skills than my abilities as a ninja; I try to keep up with social affairs and the like of politics to keep current."
Hopefully that would put some light on to Senshi's question of Chuunin-hood and if she felt ready for that yet...
The young girl had heard the man's hearty laugh as she contemplated the man's next statement. Had she really proven herself all that much? She never really thought she did anything difficult seeing as most of the time her comrades had been the ones assisting her in the endeavors of missions. She had listened to the man's words of the skills one needed to possess and becoming a Chunin was referring more to what she couldn't do than could.
She had heard some of the thoughts her Kage had felt about what traits she may need and some of the duties he upholds. The young gennin nodded as she stood. "I completely understand Mizukage-Sama. I may not be the most prepared for the mantle of Chunin then, although I have progressed leaps and bounds in the short amount of time I have been a Genin. I think I need more experience than anything...so what better way than following my Mizukage? Hail Kirigakure."
The girl had looked around herself as she admired the scenery. It wasn't like anything she had ever seen and if she were not on buisness, she might be exploring the wilderness. The young girl had leaned back in a stretch as she yawned a little bit. She now knew what she wanted to do with herself. She was going to become a better shinobi than she currently was...keep progressing step by step. It wasn't all about being strongest...it involved the skills to analyze and see through people. It was the ability to be astute with the surroundings. It was about simply having a skillet to guide and lead ideally. She was young and she seriously considered if anyone would take her seriously like that. She doubted it. The girl hadn't looked troubled and rather at peace in the moment as she looked out to the sky. Silence.
The silence had been broken by the now standing Dragon Captain as she turned to return to Hyobe and Senshi from near the edge of a ledge hanging over the sea. "Oh?" the Mizukage said surprised at how long it had taken the expert Sensor ninja to find the whereabouts of the one they'd been searching for. "Hai, Lord Sixth. It was difficult to track her down... I felt an energy similar to hers, but then they both converged in the same place. So I would assume that she also possesses the ability to use soulcaster -jutsu as well as Force manipulation." She would nod to Senshi then turn to lead the trio back into the wilderness of Uzu no Kuni. The woman picked up her pace with a Shunshin, and Hyobe turned to the genin at his side: "Can you body flicker, Senshi-chan?" If she could, then they both would follow suit of Itsuko and flash forward; if she had not been able to, then they would continue at what speedy pace they could go to keep up with the woman.
Soon, they would approach an area of the island that had been covered in crags that jutted forth from the surrounding sea. A bridge, nearly dilapidated, had been erected and stretched about a mile out towards an eerily built abode. "In there.." Itsuko promised, extending her finger towards the ghastly lit home that gave off an almost magenta aura. "..Who knows what arcane arts that hag practices," the Jounin said through her teeth, curious as to the abilities of this woman who could have fooled her sensor techniques for so long.
Small pinkish fires illuminated the bridge-way towards the home. As the trio knelt behind a large crag, Hyobe stopped Itsuko from leading at this point. "Alright, Senshi. You wish to show me your worth---in what manner should we approach this witch's lair, leader?" The Mizukage had appointed the Genin as the acting captain to see just how see truly would function in a leadership role, as required by those holding the title of Chunin. Perhaps now was a chance to show the Water Shadow the fruit of her arduous labor.
Senshi had suddenly seen the ANBU female stand seemingly having found a target of sort? She didn't understand exactly what was going on...but it seemed they were looking for someone. They were more specifically looking for a woman who was a soul caster. Senshi had only met one of these types of people in her life, and knew they were a force to be reckoned with. Then the Dragon vanished.
She was asked if she could use the body flicker, and she most certainly could. "Yes my lord. I may use the Shunshin no Jutsu." As both her and the Mizukage had vanished at the same time, they followed after the dragon. They had appeared by a run down looking manor with a dangerous run down bridge. This was most worrying if they were going to be walking in a place like this.
Senshi had been quiet until suddenly offered the position to lead this group...to show her leadership skills up close. Senshi had thought for a brief moment and based on the little information she had...she had to come up with something creative...and she had. "If this is our enemy, we do not want them to be aware of our pressence. Therefore we shall approach in an abstract method. We shall use the tree walking technique and walk on the underside of the bridge. We may assume the front of this bridge may hold traps for intruders...dangerous ones, but surely none would trap the bottom of it."
Senshi had displayed an interesting plan and had done so in a swift manner. She had looked to the man for approval of the idea as she wasn't feeling too secure on the idea of approaching this manor on a head on approach. She didn't know what the witch was capable of, so taking an enemy by surprise could be a good way. They didn't know if the hag had eyes on the bridge...or what her spying capabilities were. "I know this may not be the best strategy, but do you believe this would work? Please critique me. Once we reach the manor, I suggest we use decoys such as the Kage Bunshin to survey the situation. I may make many clones at a time, but none would be ideal for this situation I apologize. We stick to the shadows and work from there fanning through the area looking for our enemy and taking them out when the time is right."
Both Hyobe and Itsuko absorbed what the genin told them. It all seemed to hold fast given their current situation; the Lord of Mist nodded, having agreed that there may indeed be traps laying scattered on the upper part of the bridge.
"Then it is settled, lady Senshi," the Kaguya said; he then would later add on as they applied a minute amount of chakra to their feet and began to walk upside-down on the bridge: "However, I do not think it best to use bunshin in this area. Us three should be plenty to deter the witch from anything to disastrous. Adding more bodies, even if clones, would possibly startle her into doing just that." Here, Hyobe wanted Senshi to think about what-if scenarios, and to rely solely on the actual members of the team, not just their ninjutsu techniques. As a taijutsu master, he saw it best to work with what you had, and save whatever else for later if necessary. Once they had managed to successfully cross the under passage of the bridge, Hyobe and the Butai Dragon pressed their bodies against opposite walls of the abode. The Mizukage would motion for total silence; only the eyes and hand motions would be used, having been in such close proximity to the target.
Itsuko motioned for Senshi to join her side of the wall, so that she herself [Itsuko] would burst into the home and have her Lordship and Senshi as back up to detain her. Once all parties had been set in place, their plan would jump into motion...
On the inside, brewing some alchemical concoct over a hot flame in a massive black cauldron, the witch cackled. The trio could hear this, but knew not why she had laughed. The hag would then throw some blue weeds into the pot, churned it with vigor then cackled again. It would seem that she knew that they had been here.. but unknown to them, she had a soul clone stirring the pot while she herself sat in total silence and surveyed the surroundings with universal ninjutsu.....

With this technique the user pushes out a barrier of chakra that shoots out in all directions to where depending on the user's class level the further this barrier can go. This barrier is in a half sphere dome in which covers around and above the user, however does not cover below the user. Her plan was well approved of. That was a wonderful thing although the thought of the clones was discarded at the moment. It wasn't that much of a problem although she did think of Chakra conservation. She had followed her fellow mist Shinobi on the underside of the bridge before pressing against the opposite walls of the buildings. Being signaled in code, Senshi had stayed closed to lady Itsuko prepared for anything. In her left hand was a single kunai drawn as the young child had held it in the reverse grip.
Senshi had formed a short handseal sequence preparing Suiton:Teppodama in case upon entry, there was something to fire at. Senshi had trained everything into her ninjutsu and very little genjutsu. She had been by all means the weakest link in the mission, although she was...a decent Kunoichi so she'd like to believe. She had simply waited for the next move. The laugh unnerved her, and made her worry greatly having the feeling the witch was aware of their presence. Senshi looked nervously as the Kage and his trusted wife. Something was about to begin.
The hagraven screeched as the Mist trio erupted through the windows and front door of her abode; her ephemeral self, the Soulcaster bunshin, would jump from its position near the flame and cauldron, and dash at the seemingly weaker Genin Senshi. Now that they had broken into her home, the witch [the original] that had been meditating cackled and broke her universal technique.
"So... you've come for me? Are you to burn me at the stake?" she inquired as her bunshin threw a gnashing hand at Senshi's face. The woman would cackle madly, her hands already casting the requisite seals for a Wind Style technique. "Well, taking me won't be so easy!!! Hehehehehee!!!" Seated, one could observe her paunch grow to a massive size underneath her black robes. The woman launched a full-powered Daitoppa at the Mizukage, who nimbly dodged to his right using a Shunshin arc; the blast of winds tore through the interior of her wall into the exterior, leaving the cold wind of the night to creep in. Hyobe grit his teeth, he nodded to Itsuko to try to end this quickly as he leapt two meters towards Senshi, vying to save her from the terrible slashing attack of the soul doppelganger.
If the low ninja had been swift enough to react, she could have dodged, or released her Water Bullet at the clone. In the result of the latter, the soulcaster witch would be knocked back, but not defeated; Hyobe would then slam his hands into seals before smashing them into the ground. "Daichi Kangoku!" he yelled as the foundation of the home began to shake; forthwith, a small dome would rise around the soul clone, and for a moment it would become subdued behind the stone walls of the earthen prison. As the Mizukage and Senshi worked on the soul bunshin, the Dragon Butai Commander dashed towards the objective swiftly.
For an elder, the woman was surprisingly keen and attentive in hand-to-hand combat. She was impressively on par with even an ANBU member, which made Itsuko's eyes glisten as would a dragon's in search of a valuable treasure. "You're coming back to Kirigakure with us, hagraven..." She would punch forward with one hand, and cast seals with the other; the witch dodged the fist, and then would be even quick enough to avoid the ANBU only -jutsu that had been used to subdue her. She cackled again. "Kekekekeke!!! My name is Luitgard and I think I'll be staying here!" She would put some vial from her pocket and slam it into the ground. In a fit of smoke which would cause everyone in the house to cough, the witch had vanished from the home as the smoke was pulled out from the hole she had made earlier.... "What the----" Even the faint traces of the soul clone had vanished, and now the Mist trio stood in the empty home that haphazardly caught fire in the midst of this skirmish.
Soul Dagger Rank: "B" Skill: Supplementary Effect: User has adapted to close contact fighting and so has their Searing Soul attack. This technique is capable of crushing an opponent's ribs if hit directly, or capable of dislocating a shoulder if hit along the shoulder. This technique is sometimes used to break down large doors, or to smack an opponent away from the user when the user comes into a bind. Depending on the user's class level depends on the distance this technique may be used. When the user is "D" class the distance is that of twenty five meters. Each class the user is higher then that of "D" The distance increases by five meters. When the user masters the art of wind, the blast increases by doubling it size as the distance is increased by ten meters. Description: Earth rises up around the targeted person quickly to a maximum height of 4 meters, trapping them inside. At D rank this technique is little more then a distraction or simple defense, only able to absorb a simple "D" ranked attack before it crumbles. Only the part that is attacked will collapse, unless the structural integrity of the entire prison is compromised. At C rank it becomes much harder and resists attacks better, but with persistence victim can break free (1 C rank). At B rank the prison is extremely hard and thick, made of solid rock. It is very difficult to break and will reflect most ninjutsu techniques back upon the victim. This rope is then launched towards the opponent quickly, giving them little reaction time. As the rope strikes the opponent, it quickly encircles either their legs or arms in order to prevent movement. This can be used as both a capturing-type technique or a delaying type technique to give the user more time to strike an opponent in combat. The rope has the strength of tempered steel, making it very difficult to escape from. Limit: Universal ANBU Techniques
As they had entered the ever so frightening lair of the hagraven, Odayakama Senshi had heard a cry of battle as the witch had aimed to attack her seeing she appeared to be the weakest link of the group. This thought process was not wrong as she was in fact the weakest in terms of skill and experience. However, that did not mean that Senshi was as weak as an average genin. She had far surpassed that point at least in terms of Ninjutsu Prowess. She as a Kirigakure no Sato Shinobi had a reputation to uphold, and she wasn't going to die like this!
When the witch had asked her inquiries, Senshi had no time to think of them nor the attack sent to the Mizukage as the Soul Clone had come rushing to slash Senshi's face. No, of course not. Senshi had fired her bullet straight for the Soul Clone once close enough in range releasing a gout of water from her throat. Senshi had then saw the witch stumble backwards before being imprisoned within the Mizukage's Earth Prison. Senshi had not let her guard down as she entered a loose Taijutsu stance prepared for enemy movement, however it seemed there would be none.
After the Dragon ANBU had attempted to subdue the witch, it seemed it was a failure as the witch had thrown a mystery vial on the floor creating a smokescreen making the young genin cough and sputter. When the gas had cleared, the witch had escaped seemingly vanishing into thin air. This was not good, but surely the witch would not have been able to go far. Senshi had narrowed her eyes as they were filled with determination. It was time to show exactly what she was worth. Thus, Senshi had began to weave her handseals at a rapid pace.
"Suiton:Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu!" It was at this moment, Senshi had called upon the very water from the air itself to form ten identical replications of herself all armed with swords. She had looked to the clones around her before speaking. "Travel in groups of two and fan out and find the witch! She can't have gone far! Return if you hit the maximum distance of travel! Go!" Senshi had took a deep breath for a second at the chakra drain before looking to her lord. "We too must find the witch. Let us act Lord Mizukage!" Senshi had then looked to the Dragon ANBU. "If possible, please use your sensory ability to pin point her location. We may then hunt her down and subdue her with superior numbers."
Suiton: Oxyhydro Conversion Technique Rank: "B" Skill: Ninjutsu Effect: Converts oxygen and hydrogen in the air into water. Special: Automatic when performing a water jutsu. Drawback: It is easy to exceed your chakra level when creating large amounts of chakra- the amount of water needed will automatically be created when you cast a water jutsu when you are not around a water source. Therefore, if you cast a technique and you do not have enough chakra to cast both the technique and create the amount of water necessary, user is incapable of making the technique work. Description: After spending a large amount of time utilizing water techniques, the Water Shinobi begins to understand the true composition of water. They use this to such an effect that they can create water out of nothing. This is automatic when casting a water jutsu and there is no water source. Be honorable when creating techniques. A small bottle of Water does not have enough substance to create a clone. Limit: Must have 500 training points into techniques that focus only on Suiton no Jutsu. Once you have obtained 500 training points in Suiton techniques, they gain this technique automatically.
2.(learned five times) Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Clone) Rank: "C" Rank Skill: NinJutsu Effect: --- Special: "Handseals" Drawback: --- Description: Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to create a Bunshin clone. Unlike a normal Bunshin, the Mizu Bunshin has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target. The range of the clone is limited; however, it can not travel very far from the original body. If the Mizu Bunshin is injured, the clone will usually revert back into its natural water state. When first learned the user is capable of having or capable of creating up to Five Clones. Each time learned the user learns this technique the number of Clones is capable of increasing by one. The maximum amount of clones is Ten for the Difficulty Class of D Rank. For each Difficulty Rank Increase the number increases by five of maximum but learning is still one per learned. Limit: Water Release (learned thrice so far.)

The Mizukage did as instructed; Itsuko replied with "Hai," as the young kunoichi summoned her Water Clones to patrol the area. As one unit, they left the home and searched the wild lands of Whirlpool. For a while, they seemed to be getting nowhere fast as the Dragon Butai member focused her sensory energies. Senshi and Hyobe vigilantly searched the area with their eyes and senses as the ANBU kunoichi used her spirit.
Senshi's clones had little to no luck. They had broken into five different directions, but could only travel so far before they started to separate from her chakra control range. However, one of the units of two had alerted their master to an eerie cackling that they managed to observe. Once relayed to the Odayakama descendant, she would alert her squadron.
However finding it strange that this rather crafty woman would easily give up her location, Itsuko kept her Sensory prowess on standby. They could not lose the trail of this hagraven because of whispers in the forest.
Carefully, the Mizu Clones led the way, which was 8 meters northeast into a jungled area with low light. Hyobe kept at his p's and q's as a Tai master. Had the opportunity risen again, he would rush to the hagraven and simply knock her unconscious. He still had to try to meet with the Kusakage, and now this had grown rather tasking, having to search all around the island for this woman.
Senshi had taken charge of the situation fairly enough, and was interestingly enough getting accustomed to the role. They had fanned out in search of the witch only for their efforts to remain fruitless for quite some time. It seemed they had quite a bit more work to do before they would be able to locate the hagraven. Her clones had come back and forth relaying information until eventually one pair had returned and informed her of a series of cackles in the dimly lit jungle. Odayakama Senshi nodded as she had then instructed all of her clones to gather as one unit as they had been in a cone formation. They would be the ones to test for traps laid by the witch and as such take the blows for them.
Senshi had drawn two kunai that she had with her before twirling them in her hands. She recalled that their goal was to capture the witch alive and bring her back to Kirigakure no Sato as a possible prisoner. This didn't mean they couldn't harm the witch although most likely the better condition the witch was in, the better. Sliding her kunai back into place, the young girl had instead followed closely to her mizukage and the dragon ANBU as she most likely would not be able to do much to subdue the witch easily. However, she had performed the handseals for the Suirou no Jutsu in case the right opportunity presented itself. "I suggest I allow my Bunshin to search and lure the witch out and corner her into an ambush seeing they are expendable. It might be a wise thing to do in reality. Is this alright with you Mizukage-Sama? My plan is that once the clones are destroyed, I will be able to trap her in several ways using Suirou no Jutsu, or perhaps Suiton:Mizuame Nabara."

Having allowed Senshi to still head the Mist squadron, Hyobe stayed behind as the two remaining Mizu bunshin moved forward to continue to search for the hagraven. Itsuko began to scry the chakra energy in the environment for the signature of Luitgard; the water clones however, had stumbled upon the woman, after noticing a bit of her tattered cloak hanging on some tree branch. They would alert their creator Senshi, and she would mobilize the Mist shinobi to spring upon the hagraven.
During the intermission wherein the Kirigakure ninja would move to advance upon the woman, she had again created a Soul Caster double, and went ahead to create a field of ten floating cubes around her. The invisible cubes shot out towards the unsuspecting Mizu doppelgangers and launched into their bodies. By the time Team Mist arrived, there had been two puddles laying before them; Senshi would only be able to discern that before her clones become deconstructed, that something had hit them to cause that to happen.
Luitgard cackled insanely as she and the Soul Clone prepared for the final battle. Her invisible cubes continued to rotate around the two hagraven.
Fuuton: High Pressure Air Cube Rank: C Skill: Ninjutsu Effect: The user creates high pressure air cubes. Special: “Hand Seals” Drawback: Doesn’t do anything on its own. Can be seen by some doujutsu (sharingan, byakugan ect). Description: The user performs hand seals to make ten invisible high pressure air cubes in a five meter radius around the user. The technique can be activated unlimited times in a battle. The cubes are 1x1 meters and floats around the user’s body making him/her clothes, hair ect. move (looks cool). The cubes are always moving around the user and do not need constant chakra channeling to it, it’s one time technique. The cubes last until they are depleted by a technique or the user dispels them. The user can control the cubes in a twenty meter radius around them and can make a total of ten cubes when first learnt. Additional C rank training adds five meters to the control that can be trained up to forty five meters and adds ten cubes that can be trained up to one-hundred. Limit: Must have Fuuton. Must have at least 250 TP in Fuuton.
The young genin had witnessed the puddles of water as her clones were of course vanquished. The young girl had looked to the witch and based on her appearance, she was not soaked. This gave her the basis she took them out with long range ninjutsu. The soul Bunshin had been created to face the party, and this most certainly wasn't a good thing. "Mizukage-Sama. This is the final confrontation between the witch and ourselves. I believe she had used a long range jutsu to destroy my doppelgangers, and seeing she had used a Futon Jutsu before, I predict it's one of those. Am I correct Hagraven?" The young girl had looked the most serious she had ever had in this moment as she began to form a quick handseal sequence.
"Now is the time to attack and rush her!" The young girl had rushed forward looking straight at one of the witches in the eye as she would then subtly do another sequence making it seem as if it were adding to the former. Subtly she would throw her twin kunai straight for the tree above the witch to draw their attentions. It was at that moment, one of the witches would suddenly witness the floor suddenly mutate and change into a living mass of flesh and tentacles as well as teeth wriggling and aiming to grab her. She had also prepared the substitution jutsu as she planned on making the second witch waste her long ranged jutsu on her to pierce her body.
If she were to be attacked, she would substitute with a decaying log from the nearby environment as it would be shredded to bits. Odayakama Senshi would let the husband and wife pair attempt to deal with the other witch as Senshi would immediately rush for the Hagraven caught in genjutsu to then immediately use another genjutsu technique. "Scary floor isn't it? Worse than...rotting?" The witch would then experience the sensations of her skin rotting and falling off of her body. If this were the soul clone, excellent...it would be debilitated from the genjutsu combinations. She was not sure if the soul clone could be harmed by ninjutsu, but she knew genjutsu effected all living things, and if it was a soul...she suspected that too would be able to fall for such tricks. She had done this purposely in order to first get the witch paranoid with the floor, and then look her in the eyes again to daze her and make her fall unconscious...or to perhaps take the clone down. Odayakama Senshi had kept her guard up at all times not daring to be so foolish as to let her guard down until the original has been defeated. She had used genjutsu as most of her ninjutsu would not help this situation.
Effect: This illusion forces the subject to believe their flesh is rotting and falling off their body, and that their internal organs are spilling out.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: ---
Description: A Fear, Mind-Affecting Technique. Affects 1 living creature. The user is able to perform this technique at a distance of 7 meters plus 6 meters per class level. The duration of this technique lasts for 2 rounds per class level. This technique may be negated. This illusion forces the subject to believe their flesh is rotting and falling off their body, and that their internal organs are spilling out. If the target fails their save, they are dazed (and horrified) for 1 round. On the following round, they fall unconscious for 1d10 minutes, during which time they cannot be roused normally.
Limit: Must know the Phantasm Perception.
Floor of Horror
Rank: "C"
Skill: GenJutsu
Effect: This Jutsu causes the target to think that the floor or ground below them has turned into a living, writhing horrible mass of barbs, tentacles, teeth, and claws.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: ---
Description: A Mind-Affecting Technique. Affects 1 living creature. The user is able to perform this technique at a distance of 7 meters plus 6 meters per class level. The duration of this technique lasts for 1 day per class level. This technique may be negated. The illusion is visual, audible, and reasonably believable to the touch. The base surface appears as such for a 35 meter radius around the affected target, causing the target to climb up upon stairwells, tree limbs, furniture or even try hang to columns and rafters in an effort to get away from the floor. Fully convinced that the floor or ground is alive, targets of Floor of Horror have been known to remain in such a position for hours at a stretch, afraid of the horrors that seem to seethe across the ground and floor. While under the effect the target suffers a ‒2 against additional saves.
Limit: Must know the Phantasm Perception.

The Mizukage and ANBU Dragon advanced on her word. Like the mist, they evaporated and sprung upon the hagraven. With their Shunshin dealing with the versions of the woman simultaneously, the Genin had time to perform her genjutsu.
The visions would disrupt the woman as the Mizukage went to grab the original Luitgard. His wife, Itsuko, would deal with the soul clone version of her with attacks of her own soul mastery. In no time, due to the combined efforts and strengths of these Kirigakure shinobi, the woman had been captured. She lay limp and unconscious in the hulking grasp of Hyobe; she had been bound by chakra devices controlled by the Tatsu Butai. Senshi had performed well on this high rank mission outside of the village, and Hyobe was indeed impressed.
She had been a very effective member of the Hidden Mist, and perhaps worthy of the title Chunin; he knew the exams weren't far off, and perhaps with a bit more skill, she would be able to exceed in them. He nodded in her direction.
"Excellent work, Lady Senshi. I have just received word from Kenji that the Embassy in the Land of Grass is under a re-vote for Kusakage. We will be returning home with the objective, and you can return to your routine procedures." Hyobe himself had several things to attend to as well, given the current affairs of the Ninja World. He would take a while to brood over fated ties and the potential for ruinous deceptions. He, being of Kaguya ilk, still thirsted for physical battle to the death; he was a lawful creation of Hazian society, but still held ties with his lineage.
As the trio returned to the water side vessel, Hyobe placed the woman in the hull, as Itsuko returned to their quarters and the Genin did as she willed. Once he was back on the deck, Hyobe stood starboard and gazed into the seas.. lost in thought.
How surprising it was that she was able to perform so well when it came down to it. As the witch laid at their feet, Senshi didn't even feel tired from a combat experience like that. The witch was bound by chakra control devices and was done with essentially. The young girl after all the conflict had been very quiet almost timid as she did not greet the eyes of her Kage until called. She was informed that they would return back to the village as he had other pressing matters to get to and the Kusakage title was being discussed and or being considered by the people. "Hai. Mizukage-Sama. It was an honor serving alongside you and I hope to spend more time with you when possible.
She had watched over the prisoner down below the deck as they sailed back to Kirigakure. She has other training to do and some money to earn. She had eventually fine up on deck staring at the sky alongside her Kage while she still could. It was quiet. She was wondering what his opinions were however...and secretly wished he would tell her how he thought she performed. So, she would approach and then speak. "Mizukage-Sama...how did I do honestly?"
