Kuroki continued to read up on the arcane cultivation of not human anymore remains and of other special creatures of the night. He actually learned about another creature of the night known as a lycanthrope. Now this wasn't strictly an undead kind of creature but once infected with the disease the creatures carry, you stop being human in most sense. Now not being human wasn't to much of a problem especially being a Taki ninja.
The Necril tome describes interesting processes for harvesting parts from an perspective of the dead doing that. It was an interesting point of view of what to do to get ingredients for potions specifically to fight the same undead. This was why he had to learn this stuff in the first place though to join a good fight. His personal war will be against the evil dead and specifically the evil spirits amongst them.
So on he read through a how to book written by the dead for the undead. An it was ever so engrossing of a read. He had already read through the book a few times but his basic understanding of the ancient language made it a hard read. It took multiple times reading it just to glean a few details. There was also spots in the book that was faded to the point beyond all recognition.
