Kusagakure Gates

Kiru darted out of the village gates. Finally after so long he could finally assassinate a real target once more. The thrill of infiltrating and taking out an entire organization only to silently chop off it's head for the finishing blow. The Viper would soon again bare its fangs and sink them into prey.

Houkou and Sekizen moved through the gate shortly after Kiru, off to make sure the boy didn't die, so long as he proved he was being useful, and would not be a burden on Kusa. Their target was a rich mogul who had started an illegal enterprise, they wanted him dead for it, and so he would be. One way or another.

It'd been some time since Harue last left the village, but it felt no more foreign now than it had the previous times. Ōmo strolls beside her as she approaches the men at the gates, producing her mission slip as evidence of her official permission to leave the country. Without much else to talk about, she departs first from the men and then from the gates.

After Harue had ventured home from her mission, she'd managed to run into her Kage and few other villagers and become the Kage's assistant, all within the span of a few hours. It had been a couple days since she'd set out initially, but nothing seemed all too different as she approached the gates. Yuri had gone ahead, Harue lagging behind with her beloved Ōmo. When she came to the security post, she smiled and ducked into the village. She'd been in and out enough for them to recognize her.

Busy as always, Harue and her trusted sidekick Ōmo pass from the safety of their home village in favor of the country it sits in, equipped with an assortment of things. She wasn't in too much of a hurry, but her usual lax nature was clearly overturned by a pressing, buzzing twitch in her step.

Houkou would re-enter the village with two bodies, one breathing and one cut in half. The breathing body would be Kiru, still passed out from the previous mission, who would be dropped off at home and then scratched from the team, and the other body was the latest piece of shit that Houkou had to kill in order to keep the peace here in Kusa no Kuni. Nothing but hassles. Providing the correct credentials, he would make his way passed the AnBu that were there, heading toward the village proper to deliver his report to the Kusakage. This was going to be annoying...he'd better stop and buy some cigarettes first.

No rest fore the wicked, as they say, and so here he was again at the mouth of Kusagakure no Sato. This time he brought his full complement of weaponry, unsure of what he would face down there, or what he would need. Itosen Damikigi and Benihime were crisscrossed on his back like an X, while Dog Star was on his right hip, the Mask of the Demon Dog on his left, and fifteen Kunai packed neatly all over his body. This was to be his killing field, and as such, he would dress traditionally. The white Shinigami like outfit that he typically wore, strips in what seemed a weave at his chest that flowed into a full cloak-like bottom over black Shinigami like pants, which were tucked into black boots that went up to his thighs, the soles of those boots containing a strange metal that kept traction. Red sash at his waist, crimson blood color, just like the forearm guards on either arm, both sporting four spikes on the back each, with padding over the back of his hands. The symbol for Kusa was on the forehead of the Mask, engraved into the metal of it, visible if one looked closely enough. Only one new edition to his repertoire was something he did not wish to keep, but must regardless, at least for a time, and it was the watch given to him by the Witch. It fit neatly under the right forearm guard.

“I was told that my team was supposed to meet me here,” Houkou proclaimed, walking into the ‘courtyard’. He stood before the first gatehouse out of Kusagakure no Sato, an impatient expression on his face, wondering just how long this was going to take.

"We are here..." A familiar voice would sound, as Salihn would make herself present. Another would make their presence known as well, as they followed behind her. She gave Houkou a bow and then said, "I am the ranking officer on this mission. But as per request by Lady Yuri, I am to allow you to take lead on this mission. Use me as you see fit." Salihn, was obviously also there to judge Houkou's skill to lead a team. After all he was going for the Dragon Division of Anbu. Close evaluation must be made on those trying to take such a high position. "This is Su... he is part of the Anbu Owl division." Su was clearly not his real name, and the face that Houkou was seeing was likely not his own. Such was the ways of Anbu. "Ready when you are."

It had only been a minute or two of waiting for them to arrive, enough time for him to have lit a cigarette, and to smoke it to about halfway as well. Currently he was tapping his right hand fingers on the hilt of Dog Star, his left index and middle finger taking the cigarette from his mouth and exhaling the smoke slowly. Salihn would offer a bow and a few introductions upon arrival, another with her of the Owl AnBu faction, a man named Su; although that was not a real name it seemed. His face was a bit off as well, but that didn’t matter. What did matter was what they could do, something that Houkou had not been able to discern as of yet, and would probably only divine by asking.

“So you’ll be grading me, hm? Very well, then as the now leader of this mission, I will need to know what each of you can do so as to better coordinate you to the fullest.”

Houkou would tap the ash from his cigarette, then brought it back to his lips, taking another puff and exhaling the smoke through his nose.

“Either of you can begin first, then once we have that established, we will get going.”

Salihn gave Houkou another bow and reported, "I am skilled in Taijutsu and Ninjutsu. But my greatest strength lay in my tracking abilities. If it can be tracked by any means... I will find it. If it is impossible to track... I will find it. If it does not exist, I can get us a trail." Salihn's words sounded like boastful nonsense, but she was no one to boast. She was serious, straight forward and to the point. Every bit of what she spoke, was an accurate representation of her skills. Su came forward and wasn't nearly as respectful as Salihn, who in all honestly might be overly so.

"My shtick is intel. Whatever you need to know, I know it. Anything I see gets downloaded into this noodle of mine for permanent storage. I'm also a serviceable Medic. But don't expect any miracles." Su said as he placed in hand into his pocket. She was very non-nonchalant by the whole ordeal, but if Houkou gave him a gander with his Sharigan he would know that Su could hold his own in a fight. He was most likely the current Owl Divisions Captain or Vice Captain.

Houkou snuffed his cigarette now that it was nothing but the butt, allowing the tobacco to filter between them, wafting on a gentle breeze that blew through the area to carry what was left away. Incinerating the butt in his hand into ash, he clapped his left and right hands together until that ash was nothing, then finally spoke to the two.

"Tracking and information," he began, rubbing his chin, "both of these could be very useful for this once we are on site. Let's get going before too much time passes. I want to get this over with as soon as possible. I'm counting on you both."

With that, he would begin moving out of the area and through the gate.

    Inoryu remembered Vlad's offer, "200k for a book on craftsmanship or possibly other various subjects. Vlad said I could find them in special book stores around the world but that's pretty vague..." The next day after Vlad had made the offer, Inoryu had gone to ask if Hiroshi had such a book, or if he knew where he could find one. If anyone might be able to provide any leads, it would be him.

    Inoryu remembered his reply, "Hmm...I don't have any such books, but I might know where you can find one. There is a legendary armourer that now lives in Kaze no Kuni as a ninja of the Sand, his name is Shiki Senri."

    "Shiki Senri? The same Shiki Senri that saved Kibo's life and took down the bandersnatch in the festival of the hunt?" Inoryu asked.

    "I believe so, yes. Well, I was doing work in the Land of Fang where he crafted as well. I've heard rumors of his legendary craftsmanship and went and saw for myself. I can tell you now, he may be the greatest armourer in the world. If anyone would have such a book, it would be him."

    "But he is a Sand-nin, how would I get a hold of him?" Inoryu brought his hand to his chin and rubbed it subconsciously.

    "Well, there's two ways that I know of. In the Land of Fang, he possesses a dojo and a chakra clinic," Hiroshi answered.

    "A chakra clinic? What is that?" Inoryu had never heard of the term.

    "Shiki Senri has the ability to cultivate people's chakra. He made the clinic so he could trade goods and services for chakra. And it's a perfectly safe treatment for the patient, no harm done, and he offers a place to rest and eat to recover chakra after the procedure." Inoryu bowed and thanked Hiroshi for the information.

    As he passed through the Kusagakure gates, he was determined, bound for the Land of Fang. According to the open source Intelligence, he had a better chance of finding one of these valuable books by contacting Shiki Senri. Due to his desire for cultivating chakra, he figured he could offer his chakra in return for a special book. It was a harmless procedure after all. He would have a place to rest and food to eat to recover, and if for some reason he needed to recover quickly, he had an herb to speed up the process.

Decimus was going on a gathering trip and was passing through the kusagakure gates. He waved at the different guards and showed proof he was allowed to leave the village. after passing through the different checkpoints, Decimus was out into the country of grass.

Tomomi arrived at the gates of the village to much fanfare! Just kidding, he made his way through the secret entrance, and was met with some difficulty convincing the guards that he was who he said he was. However, after much debate he was in fact allowed entrance to the village. He did in fact have a headband to the village after-all.

Ameya walked up the the combination stone, put in the combination and made her way through. She yawned as she passed the guards, her head and directly on her forehead.

Yuri walked over to a well hidden cobblestone wall, that looked to be the remains of a dried up man made waterfall. She had a nonchalant look on her, as she pressed in some of the cobblestone, obviously entering in some kind of code, "Remember this, I won't be repeating it." After she pressed the cobblestone for the last time the wall began to open up revealing a guard house behind it, and revealing a path large enough to fit a Wagon through. As she walked through several Anbu appeared in front of Godric. Yuri held up her hand and said, "Leave him be... he's with me, and will a fellow Grass Ninja soon." The Anbu looked at Godric and then over at Yuri and all the Anbu gave Godric an apologetic nod.

"Also... clear out a section for us at the training grounds. I'm going to test him out, and were going to need some space. Don't want a repeat of last time. Also someone get me the paper work necessary, for inducting a new ninja." The Anbu all looked at each other, even through their masks one could feel their apprehension when Yuri mentioned the training grounds. She had a habit of almost critically injurying others that were present at the training grounds. If Vlad wasn't he Training Partner for the most part, then it wouldn't be a surprise if someone had died. Yuri was clearly a prodigy, but one who still had not learned to control that massive power swelling in her. The Anbu vanished as they went to do as she had asked.

"Alright this way, Godric."

Godric followed. he respectfully diverted his eyes away from the going on's of the entrance. He has yet the need to know... such village secrets. Designing the security system in Stone, he know the sensativity of such things.

Though the ANBU, he knew also were apart of the security. But this was an opportunity he relished in. It was simply his nature to bear his teeth and snarl at them. It was simply who he was, in fact he has a pertinacity of rage, and at one point would succumb to it. (need two nat 1 in a row if you want me to roll for it but I am guessing not)

But with a simple word from the Kusakage, the AnBu backed down and so too did Godric. Though he grinned as he passed them, eyeing them up. Perhaps it was the immature vampire in him that shown itself every once in a while, but it was another thing he enjoyed.

Thus he passed through the gates following Yuri. His grin turned into a smile as the thought of combat rose. It was always when he felt most...alive...

Godric Passed the guards. He nodded to them as he presented his Kusa headband. "Let Yuri know I am in search of a few rare books. I will return when I found them. Or within a few weeks, whichever comes first. thus he left.

Was a faster trip than expected, presenting his headband to the guards. "I have returned..." was all he said.

Godric went to the guard and instructed, "If Yuri needs me I am heading to the city to find a Fighting Style Master" he noted. As he did he left a permanent Hiraishin seal on the outside of the gate.
