An abandoned cabin which stood at the center of an open field with high grass which reached up to an individual's knees. The current time eight at night, with a light rain and thunderstorm ending. Roman sat in the living room of the cabin, smoking his cigarettes and on a teared up red leather two seat couch. The coffee table in front of him was knee length, and covered in cigarette buds. While Roman sat there watching the news on the tv, he finished his cigarette and tossed the bud of it on the table. Three precise knocks were heard, Roman shifted his eyes towards the door and spoke up. "Come in"
The door opened, a blonde slender individual wearing a tuxedo entering the cabin. The broker shifted his eyes slowly and with a sigh of disgust, he spoke up as he walked in and closed the door behind him. He held a vanilla folder and handed it over to Roman. "This place is a mess.. and your cigarettes are all over the table.. is all you do is smoke and drink? Is that what you spend your money on? Any who, I have an assignment for you."
Roman chuckled as he lifted himself off the sofa, wearing his black trench coat and hoodie. He grabbed the vanilla folder and read it to himself, as his eyes shifted as he opened it. After reading the information, he closed the folder and spoke up. "Not interested, You know I only do infiltration missions and gathering info.. I don't do killings.." The broker was shocked, and replied back with a chuckle. "How does 80k sound as payment?"
Roman looking around the cabin, seeing the mess in almost disgust as he sighed to himself and placed his hands in his pocket. On his back was his quiver and his bow. He spoke up as he closed his eyes and then opened it.
"Fine, will do it... I can't continue to live poor like this.."
The Broker being excited for a brief moment as he walks over to the window near to the entrance door and speaks.
"I did some recon.. and the priest is heading straight to an event known as "The Gladiator's Den" its an event which tons of individuals pay for to see the best of the best fighters. From what I'm assuming here, he plans to use that money to buy those fighters, to use to kill the high council member and his guards. I bought you a ticket to enter the arena."
Roman walking over to the Broker, who then turned to face with as he hands Roman the ticket. Roman responding back as he places the ticket in his pocket.
"So I'm going to spectate the event and see which individuals he picks? Along with finding him?"
The Broker laughing as he plants his right hand on Roman's shoulder and speaks back.
"No my friend, you won't be an audience member, you will be one of the fighters. I expect you to win and get chosen by him."
Roman sighs to himself as he looks at the Broker with an annoyed look.
